Is anyone there?
You write to it
but it doesn't care
it's simply a
blank piece of paper
lying there
staring at your
soul
in despair
there's nothing it
can say
there's nothing it
can do
to help you
overcome
what you are
going through
instead
You have to take
a stand
and make something
new
of this blank
piece of paper
that was handed to
you
This is how I felt when I first started writing poems
