If it were not a necessity of life
I would not mind
Never seeing it again

The Holy Spirit is guiding me to rest
My human nature feels a realm of guilt for this
Yet, my soul has faith for His best
Grace carries me through
Day to day
At this time in my life I will rest
I know this is not the spot
He will always have me stay
I will continue to pray
Follow the Spirits guidance
Building strength within my faith
In preparation for His will and my
Recognition of His way

Poetry is getting addictive to me
It could be worse
I could be drinking or smoking ****
Those are habits of days gone past
God had a plan
He knew that would not last
Instead He cleaned my act
My desires have changed
He's teaching me true facts
I no longer carry shame
My past is my past
Today is today
I gladly tell others my story
In hopes it will lead them "Jesus Way"
I finally see that judging others is not my job
What a burden released from me
I never did want to be a snob
It has become such a joyful day
So much stress has been relieved
All I had to do was to accept my Savior and pray
God bless each and every one of us today!!!!!!!!

Blooming in my hearts delight
In the Garden of Eternal might
Peace sprouts from a drop
Of sincerity

Insanity breeds free In this world, and yes,
Truthfully, inside of me

God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble,

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God
The holy place where the Most High dwells.

Only through darkness will we find the light
Only through the past will we find the future
Only through mistakes will find what's right
Only through youth will we find age
Only through life will we find mortal death
Our ultimate destination
Yes.... through wisdom we will find our Lord
Our ultimate salvation!

Just move me on down to the coast
Where life's meaning has it's most

Where the the waves hit the shores of the sea
That is where the wind guides me

Like the force of the undertow
My heart is always in wrenching desire to be Where the waves flow~°•~°•

What age would you pick if you could be young again
Would it it be the age that you met your very best friend
Or maybe the age of the first love of your life
What about the age when you learned how to swim 🏊‍♂️
Elementary school age opened the mind, spelling test on Friday
When responsibility was seen as just a vocabulary word on our weekly list of words was sublime
Days before monthly bills exisisted, long before electronic technology and strife
If you could be young again
What age would you choose if you could pick one for your life?

I see bits of me in other people although I do not understand how it is said we are all the same
I feel quite unique and it does not seem to change
As I am getting older and more mature
The world is progressing so grand
The logic seems quite tragic
Or perhaps I cannot understand
Others seem to roll with the flow of Change so well, I feel like I have been thrown in the *** that is boiling me up Getting me tender for hell
I pray each day that God will open
my eyes to The brightest way
He brings happiness in my heart
That will forever stay
Even when the world is basking in evil in revolutionary ways
Assured I am The Holy Spirit is with me
For protection through these days

Change of the season
The numbness it brings forth
Inside of my brain
Is least joyous reason
Although it may serve
God's purpose for fall
Bringing forth acknowledgment
Of the past pleasures and mistakes
To grasp wisdom in them all
To build my endurance for tribulation
That will rise through the winters of life

Pain conquering
I have found truth in the Holy Spirit's presence within me
God's way of saying I am just another step along a journey He has set fourth in me
A lesson of Faith I am forever being tested to create
His strength, to endure a never-ending journey
A realization I now can see
His route to use me to guide others down His path of glory
Faith building as I travel along
Pain set as a reminder that I am strong
