but to express.

Slow down, don't leave
Take a moment out
  Let yourself breathe...
There, in your psyche
Behind your silent pain
Tap into that storm cloud
And simply let it rain!!

Empty those old cabinets
Of filed foul regrets
Twisted through your memory banks
You haven't processed yet

There in your psyche
Hidden in plain sight
A need to guide others
By your poetic gift of light

Let it reign, let it shine
Pour your words upon the line
We all share a creative soul
Take your turn and let it flow
....

Lust.
It has consumed her body,
She feels it in her second heartbeat.
This arousing sensation sends volts of electricity up her spine.
She can feel that Her secret was flowing with hot sensations.
When they lock eyes,
this tells them that this is what they want.
They are careless of opinion or consequences.
She has longed to drown in Her secret for as long as She knows.
They enjoy the acquaintance of each others oceans.
Secrets sealed with each others lips.

Everyone has a perfect place.
A perfect place
where their thoughts roam freely.
A place where their body unwinds like a Spring breeze.
A perfect place,
where they omit to everything that needs their focus.
A place where
they are completely happy for that one moment.
Her place is in the clouds,
mind exploring the universe.
She is one with herself here,
and no one can ruin her happiness.
This is where she found her way with words.
This is where she writes.
In her perfect place,
high in the clouds and deep in the universe of her thoughts.

I can feel your smile
Full moon on the doldrums sea
Absolution to my deepest demons
Undeniable mystery, yet such an infinite peace

Yes, your smile
Addictive remedy to all my sins
Warm love
Annihilating my melancholy
Fading away every hidden tear

Finally. I'd been striving for a one word poem. After achieving it, I wanted a no word poem. Here it is. I guess this is no longer mine, but ours.

"The Invisible Poem" was selected as the Daily.
I'm humbled... to say nothing.
But I believe a response is necessary.
To all those who liked, loved and commented, I say thank you. I've read all you've written, and most of it is very creative and complimentary.
There are others, detractors, who claim "*******," etc.
Well of course, this only begs the question, "What is poetry?"
I can't answer that. I've written on it. But what I do know is what poetry should do. Its purpose.
If a poem should arouse emotions, bad or good, make people think, have people want to write, to express themselves (and I believe I'm on the mark here), then, anything can be a poem. Even a page with lines on it.
Thanks again to all the readers.
And if you're still *******, don't attack me... go after Elliot. :)

You will never see the world
the way I do
I can try to convey
The world I see
But the reality is
You will never be inside my mind

Just like I will never be able to never enter yours
We like to think we understand eachother
But there is no real way to
Because no matter how much we share with another
Interest, goals, fears,
There is no way to know for certain
That we feel the same they do

There is something beautiful in that
Contributing to the statement that everyone is unique, and different
But it's also terrifying
Knowing that you cannot be anything but alone
When you're in your own head

But there is real power in this
Knowing what you have is truly your own
And no one can take that from you
And anyone can their power
To create something truly special

Lost
I feel lost at every trickle
The water is cold tonight
The moment I went backwards
I realized once again my plans have been ruined
In the ruin I seek pity
Not because of the bright glare
Because of the glamour
Nothing else could feel this wrong
As my mind is wrapped in torment
I still think about my loss
How can I regain that trust back
How can I turn it back into a tune
Darkness in my thoughts
I go on with my day
First poem I have ever let others see. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of this community. This particular poem is about how I deleted another poem accidently and I am super upset about it. Hope you enjoy.

There's a storm in my teacup,
An ache in my head,
A plethora of words,
That are better unsaid.

There's a monster inside me,
That never stops speaking,
Though I try to control,
The havoc it's seeking.

You think I'm a good person,
But I do not agree,
My friend: you only judge me,
Based on what you can see.
Definition of a monster; a creature, being, or entity that is terribly afraid, so much so that it lashes out at whomever approaches it. A common characteristic is a barbed tongue, which can be used to inflict severe damage on unsuspecting victims.
