I ramble down to the beach
On a summers day
Body board under my arm
Wet suit on
I’m off and away
For yet another lovely day
Work rest and play play play
Riding the wave
Better than chocolate I crave
Sumptuous sea and soft grain sands
Sun shining down with no demands
Life in my forties Was a peach
And now in my sixties I just can’t reach
The memories are precious though
And I appreciate it all you know
But wish I was there right now
Enjoying and living the life
Without a trace of strife!

Life’s too short
So we ought
Make the most
Grabbing while it’s there
Use it
Peruse it
Try a little more
Open up the  door
There’s more behind
Be kind
Unwind
Love a little
Achieve
Believe
In yourself
Look after your health
Improve your wealth
Life’s too short!

Another day
Of rain and wind
But we can see through this ….
To the bright shiny green leaves
On those lovely big trees
Beaten by the weather but still beautiful
Despite the rain and wind
The temperature is being kind
It’s not freezing it’s a little warmer now
No snow at the moment
But there you go, I love snow!

The mind
Hurling
Burning
Squirming
The body
Twisting
Tossing
Turning
Can’t sleep

Thinking
Worrying
So deep

Tired
Unwired
Then sleep!


Snoring!

When I retire
All this I desire
Lots of walks in the park
Cruise on the sea
Cold water swim
Afternoon tea
write a book from within
Fun trips with my family
meet up more with friends
Visit different places
And see what life sends
Not much I desire
But I’m still a live wire
Let’s hope life takes me higher!
Because I am a flyer!

I love the natural things in life
I love all the good things in life
I love when you pick me up when I fall
I love when you make me laugh but that’s not all
I love that you are tall
I love that I am small
I love to hear your voice when you call
I love you all

The twinkly stars in the sky
The shiny bright moon
The green leaves on the evergreen trees
The flowers
The red berries
The holly and the ivy
The sun when it shines
Make the world a celestial place

A place of beauty
A place of peace
A place of love
We can increase

The beauty of the sea and sand
The gentle flowing streams
The forests of green
Are a present to mankind

A place of freedom

Always look super slim
neat and tidy slick and spam
Wear fitted clothes tight to the skin
Clear the kids toys up before he came in
Be at his beck and call

A friend has been going through

Well she’s a mess
I say, I bless
Emaciated
Confused
Battered and bruised
No one knew

His control
He did foil
But she always looked so good

Why would we suspect?
but I guess we should
It all came to no good!
Our old friend our bud
We tried to pull her up, but Twas no good
She’s a broken woman
A damaged soul

The vermin
Come out at night
Destroying everything in sight
They don’t care
They know they won’t get caught
No matter how much we have fought
There’s no respect
Nothing will protect
Us
against the vermin!

Strong Winds forecast for tomorrow
Like a hard strong gust waiting to bust
Tie down your latches
or doors and your thatches
Lay low,
stay in don’t go
Out in the blustery wind
Make sure everything is pinned
Because the wind is a demon
Waiting to beam on
Everything in its way
It’s tomorrow they say
It’s angry it’s nasty
How long will it last y
We just don’t know
It’s not a friend, it’s a foe!
The damages it does
Is what bothers us
The danger
What’s stranger
Is we just don’t know
Where it will go
Up down across or all over
From Scotland to Dover
Fast as it comes
It goes
Leaving destruction behind
It’s just simply unkind and entwined
Blowing us all away front back sides and behind!

On the stairs of a stately home
Walking down the large sumptuous stairs case
dressed in a glowy gown and a smiling face
With ballet shoes and a kitten heal
Slowly descending holding the rail
To the marble floor
And a big old wooden door
Walking through the wooden door
To a beautiful cosy room what’s more
With purple, velvet armchairs
An open log fire
Lit and burning with desire
Sitting down on the soft velvet chair
Shaking one’s head and waving ones hair
Resting now and having a snooze
Just so relaxing, don’t need any *****
Imagining going on a river cruise
Dressed in a beautiful gown and pretty shoes
Falling asleep in the warm comfy room
And dreaming of once being in the womb
All cosy and safe cuddled up warm
Sleeping now deeply and so very calm!

The air was so cold and felt like a shroud of ice
But the sky was bright and that was nice
There was no one around
Not even a sound
No birds to be seen
All asleep in the evergreen
keeping Warm
in their dorm

Early walk this morning
Before the sun was rising
The sky is black
And Full of stars
Minus five here
Freezing I fear
It’s quiet
And there’s not a soul about
Twinkling, sparkling frost on the pavement
Cold so cold
The frost is biting
Frozen fingers frozen toes
Even a red, frozen nose
It’s quiet so quiet
It’s still, there’s nothing moving
Everything is frozen
The frost is thick and spikey
Well It is winter
But extreme
A cold cold spell
It calls for Hibernation
and just enjoy the scene !

Wow we had snow
White fluffy snow flakes
All different sizes and shapes
No one the same
White and cold
Some melt where they land others stay frozen
It depends where they stand and where they pose on!
It’s mighty cold you’ll need extra clothes on
Wrap up with your hat and scarf and your quilty look coat on!

I close my eyes
And I see shadows of what was before me
And now it’s black
Don’t look back

The black is like velvet
I touch it’s soft pile
And I smile
It’s all in the minds eye

I relax
I enjoy the escape
It’s all in the imagination
Now try
Enjoy, now sleep!

Some people are lucky in life
Where as others are lucky in love
Some are prosperous right from birth
while others have to work work, work,
I look at these big houses as I drive by
And wonder who lives there, oh my!
Do they know how lucky they are
Some even drive a fancy car
They say money isn’t everything
Well money is essential
And without it you could certainly die!

In a garden

Difference shrubs
Different plants
Different bugs
Different ants
Ant hills
Butterfly 🦋 plants
Wild but wonderful
Just different

Good

The ground was all iced over this morning
They say it’s nought degrees
The sky was red and beautiful
but to dread,
red sky in the morning is said
to be a warning
But no puddles just ice
Nice
The pavements were all twinkling
such a beautiful sight ,
