OH TO BE OLD !!!

When we grow old, the body so weak becomes; suddenly hurts  everything.

Mobility becomes a problem major n wish we, someone for us things could bring.

One cannot easily wear his clothes, button them or tie shoe strings.

A good singer in youth, now almost croaks or notes low, hardly sings.

Memory foresakes him; oh my !! Each time he forgets something.

Oh My God he mournfully says; "what did I just ask you to bring" ?

More money he spends at the doctor n on medicines he has to cling !!!

Food there may be plenty; but forbidden he is, to eat most of the things.

If eats he what he likes, complications arise; his favourite he can't home bring.

શું આં સહી છે ?

આમ તો માનપૂર્વક કહે તને ગૌ માતા;

પણ ક્રૂર બહુ હોય છે, તારો પાલક દાતા.

તારું બિચારું વાછરડું, ટીપા દૂધ માટે તરસે;

જ્યારે દૂધ, દહી, ઘી માલિકના ઘરમાં વરસે.

થાય જ્યારે ઘરડી તું, નકામી એમને લાગે.

ખોરાક ન આપતાં, તારાથી દૂર તારો માલિક ભાગે.

છોડી દેય તને રખડતી, રઝળતી, પૈસા બચાવવા પોતાના

અથવા કસાઈ ઘર છોડી આવે મરવા; આપે નહિ તને ચારો કે દાણા.

સાચેજ એકલ્પેટો, મતલબી ને ક્રૂર હોય છે માનવ.

પોતાનો મતલબ હોય ત્યારે, ઘડી ભરમાં બની જાય છે દાનવ.

આં માનવ તરછોડે છે પોતાના માં બાપને, સગાં સ્નેહીઓ ને

તો તને માતા કેહવા ખાતર કહેનાર, ક્યાં પાળવાનો પોસ્વાનો તને?

DISCARDED

Sadly,  we so very selfish are; know this you, it's  not new.

By man,  if not needed,  God would be discarded too.

We worship Him,  more so, because we need him.

That's why, of my poem; today,  this is the theme.

Think and let me know,  if He granted us everything,

what would be our tendency, in His praise how many would sing?

Our very own example let us first take;

Introspect, think n truthfully a decision make.

Truthfully, from  the bottom of your heart, decide, dear ladies and gents.

Why do we, our children love more than we love our parents?

Our parents so much have done for us, so  selflessly.

Worked for our wellbeing they have endlessly.

Yet when we have to choose between both; opt we, for our children. Why?

Sadly it's almost always our children,  say this I with a sigh!

Delve deep down; into your heart; not just at the crust.

Like it or not, accept this bitter fact we must.

Similarly,  think deeply; if you had everything you desired;

Would you love God as much, or of  prayers you would be tired?

Your answer need not be to anyone, revealed;

In your own heart, you  can keep it sealed.

FAREWELL

Very excruciating was this night in Jan 2006; really chill;

To see you breathless, almost suffocated and helpless feel.

Even the oxygen flowing in, help you could not, neither an injection or pill.

Helplessness at its peak; going through a losing battle; waste was this drill.

With all the medical aids, comfort you, we couldn't; though everyone was on their heel (s).

To say that final good bye, the time had come; which almost made us ill.

The pain hasn't gone, my heart still aches, sorrow I still feel.

Good bye Mom is all I could say, with tears streaming down my cheeks, upon the frill.

બધાં પર ઈંડુ

(WRITTEN IN A LIGHTER VEIN)

બધી વાનગીઓ ઉપર ઈંડુ ખાવાની આં કેવી  ઘેલછા છે તારી?

ઓ  બાવા, ક્યારે આવશે માત્ર  શાકભાજી ખાવાની વારી?

કોઇ દિવસ તો ખા તું , શુદ્ધ મસાલેદાર  તરકારી,

ક્યારેક તો તું બની ને જો, એક  શુદ્ધ શાકાહારી.

કુદરતે બનાવી છે આં દુનિયા, વિવિધ ફુલો, ફળો શાકો થી ન્યારી.

તો  શા માટે ઈંડાં સાથે આવે બકરી અને  બિચારી મરઘી; કેમ નહિ તરકારિ ?

ક્યારે સુધરશે તું; સુધાર આં  વિચિત્ર, ખાટકી જેવી આદતો તારી.

અરે બાવા, મન ખોલી, ખાઇ જો શાક ભાજી, બની એક શાકાહારી.

આં સાલ, શું  નવરોઝ કે  શું  ખોરદાદ સાલ;

આજુ બાજુ, આખી દુનિયા માં, ચારો તરફ છે  બબાલ;

દુખ, મૉત, માંદગી માં જ  વીતી રહ્યુ છે આં સાલ.

આવી પરિસ્થિતિ માં તમાચો મારી ગાલ રાખવો પડે છે લાલ

માલિક મારા, ઓ  ખુદા મારા, સુધાર અમારા બગડેલા હાલ.

તારી નથી કોઇ મિસાલ, તું તો છે કમાલ

બસ એક તું જ ન હતો

ચંદરવા ના ઊગવાની તૈયારી, આકાશે હતી બતાવી,

ચાંદની ના ફેલાવવાની ઘડી, નઝદીક એને જતાવી.

સૂર્ય સાગર માં સમાવાની તત્પરતા દાખવી રહ્યો હતો;

જાણે, સાગર ની વિશાળતામાં, રંગો ઓગળી રહ્યા હતા એના.

શીતળ પવન ખુશનુમા ફૈલાવી રહ્યો હતો મારા આંચળ માં.

આં આલમ, આં પળ નૈસર્ગિક હતી; મદહોષી છાયી હતી વાતાવરણ માં.

બસ કમી હતી તો એક તારી, બધું જ હતું; તું જ ન હતો.

ભિંજયલી રેતી ઉપર, નામ કંદોર્તી ગઈ હું તારું સોહામણું;

પણ સાચું કહું તો લખતી હતી એને મારા હૃદય પર.

અંતર થી એક આહ નીકળી, ભારી પડી એ, આં વર્તવારણ પર.

સૂર્ય સમુંદર માં સમાઈ ગયો અને ચાંદ વાદળોમાં ભરાઈ ગયો.

બસ એજ પળ નો લાભ લઈ, આંસુ વરસી ગયાં વિવ્યોગ માં તારા.

એક તું જ ન હતો; સૂર્ય, ચંદ્ર, વાદળ, સાગર, પવન બધાં સાક્ષી હતાં, દુઃખ ના મારા.

FORMATION

At first things difficult and tiring will be, or even a pain;

But working constantly, tirelessly will bring success and gain.

Once habits good are formed; into your life daily, please them ingrain.

Then care great  take; from  lethargy, indifference n ego to refrain.

Stick to our habits good we must. To adhere to them be firm.

Much gained can be, if people actually follow this norm.

Habits good when part of life become; our character they form.

Then, upon our character, people even vouch and confirm.

To habits good form, should be our endeavour n concern.

Formation though difficult, inculcate this we must in ourselves n our Children.

This formation once complete, very rich dividends will earn.

Hope this important lesson of good habits every human does learn.

उमंग

जागा है आज दिल में यह कैसा उमंग ;
लगता है, आज मैने जीत ली कोई जंग ।
आज खुशी से पागल है, मेरा अंग अंग ।

नाचु मै बनके पंछी, खुले आसमान में ।
या खो जाऊ कोई मस्तीभरे गीत- गान में ।
मन चाहता है, करू कोई शायरी, तेरे मान में ।

पर करू क्या, आ न सकु तेरे पास ।
बुझा न सकु मै, अपने दिल की प्यास ।
पर जंग जितने का है अब मुझमें विश्वास ।

બચપણ ની મીઠી યાદો

આજે, એક નાનકડી રોટલી જોઈને આવી બચપણની યાદ

માં બનાવડાવતી હતી પૂરીથીબી નાની રોટલીઓ, ખાધી આજે જે, વર્ષો બાદ.

રંગ બે રંગી આઈસ્ક્રીમ, બરફ ગોળા ખાવાની હતી એક અજબ મઝા;

આમલી, કાચી કેરી ઝાડપર્ થી તોડી, ખાવાની મળતી અમને સજા.

વરસાદમાં ચલાવતાં અમે કાગળ ની હોડીઓ નાની નાની ;

ભરાયેલાં પાણીના ખાબોચિયા માં કૂદવાની મઝા હતી નીરાળી.

ચાર આણા માં મળતા સમોસા, આઈસ્ક્રીમ-સ્ટિક અથવા લેમન ના પીણાં

એક રૂપિયામાં ખાતા રાસબેરીની ૧૦૦ પીપરમિત; વાહ ક્યાં મજેદાર થા વો જીના !

હવે તો બસ આં યાદો ને વાગોળતાં રેહવુ પડે છે; સોહામણી મીઠી યાદ !!

અતિશય મોંઘવારી એ કરી દીધી આં બધી મઝા બરબાદ !

વાહ રે નેતાઓ , વાળ્યું દેશનું નક્ખોડ, નોતર્યું અમારા અરમાનો નું સત્યાનાશ

થાય આં મોંઘવારી નું સત્યાનાશ ; એવી કરું છુ હું સાચા દિલથી આશ .

बहुत दिन चला, दिल और दिमाग के बिच यह कलेश;

फिर भी, कोशिशों के बावजूद, कट गये मेरे लंबे,घनेरे केश ;

नानी, आपको दिया वचन निभा न सकी, इस लिये पहोची है दिल को ठेस ।

हाय, बड़ी बेबसी में, काटने पडे मुझे, मेरे यह लम्बे केश ।

आज तक समज नहीं आता है, यह हुआ क्यु और  कैसे !

मानो  कोई काला जादु किया हो किसिने जैसे !

क्या इसी तरह जिवनभर, आता रहेगा जिवन में कलेश यूँही?

मानो मानव रचा ही गया हो कलेशो  के साथ लड़ने, झुंझने ऐसे !

दाता, जिवन में क्यु आती है इतनी कठिनाइयाँ , दिन रात

यह कैसी  विडंबना, यह, आपकी तरफ से, कैसी सौगात

ऐसे खिलौने रचके, आखिर इरादा क्या है; समजमें न आये यह बात ।

कब आ के बतायेगा तु मुझे, क्यूँ रची तुने यह अजीबोगरीब मानव जात?

તું કોણ ???

રાખીશ નહિ અહમ....

પૈસા આવશે અને જશે, યાદ રાખજે, તું માત્ર એક રેતીનું કણ છે

રાજા મહારાજાઓ આવ્યા અને ગયા, યાદ રાખજે,  તું માત્ર એક રેતીનું કણ છે.

ભલ ભલા ઉચ્ચ કલાકારો આવ્યા અને ગયા, યાદ રાખજે......

સુંદરીઓ અને અપ્સરાઓ એ સુંદરતાનું કર્યું અભિમાન, માટીની કાયા માટીમાં મળી ગઈ; યાદ રાખજે.....

વૈજ્ઞાનિકો એ કરી મોટી શોધ, એ પણ ગયા, યાદ રાખજે....

અહમ અને અભિમાન ટકતા નથી, યાદ રાખજે તું માત્ર એક રેતીનું કણ છે.

हिन्दू जो आज के है मुसलमान

अपने देशकी, अपन्नी मातृभूमि की है यह अति दुखभरी दास्तान

खो गया है हमारा विवेक, हमारी सोच और ईमान ।

संकट में डाल के उनके प्राण, माल और जान;

हिंदुओ को  पहले मार मार के बनाया मुसलमान

अब भुल गए खुद की असलियत, बदल गया उनका ईमान;

दुश्मन बन गए खुद के भाई ओ के, अब नये बने यह मुसलमान ।

ज़ुल्म ढालने लगे खुद के भाईयो पर, करने लगे उन्हें परेशान ।

अंग्रजों ने इस जहरीली हवा को दी आग, बढ़ाया तूफ़ान ।

वोह आग अबी तक बुझी नहीं है; फना उसन में हो रहे हैं अनेक संतान ।

अब हर कोई, हिन्दू हो या मुसलमान, है यहां परेशान ।

अपनी ही धरा को, जन्नत को, आज मिटाने चला है इंसान ।

खुद की मातृभूमि में, रह गए पंडित बनके सिर्फ मेहमान ।

भाई जब बन बैठे। एक दूजे के शत्रु, तो हसेगा ही पाकिस्तान ।

सियासत के लिए इंसान ने बेच दिया है उसका ईमान ।

लेने लगे हैं एक दूसरे की जान, करते हैं एक दूसरे को हैरान परेशान ।

सोचो जरा, क्या दोगे जवाब, जब पूछेंगे तुम्हे अब के अल्ला या कल के भगवान  ?

Her clothes they tear apart  and tatter

Then forget they about all her agony n pain

At times,  they even try to prove her insane

Then issues they raise over her body dead

Poor parents n siblings this horrible deed dread;

But helpless are,  in the eyes of justice n law

That system which is  corrupt most,  full of flaw.

Public speeches are given, TV readers cry hoarse;

Then conveniently all is forgotten; time takes its coarse.

ઓ સાંઈ, આમ ન  મારું જીવન બગાડ

મુજ અંતર મન માં ઊંડી શ્રદ્ધા  જગાડ

તારા પ્રેમની આગ, મુજ અંતકરણ માં લગાડ

શ્રદ્ધા, સબૂરી નો દીપ આં દિલ માં પ્રગટાવ.

મુજ મન માં, પ્રેમભક્તિ નું બીજ તું વાવ.

મને એક મનુષ્ય માં થી, એક ભક્ત બનાવ.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY.
As struck the clock at midnight
There was rejoicement n light.
Thought we, gone has the darkness.
In come will light, eliminating poverty n problems endless.

Alas, disillusioned we were, sadly
Things for India, began badly.
Her neighbours tried to pull Her down.
She couldn't enjoy the shining new crown.

Let's make Our Bharat Mata a nation great.
Improve let us all, together, Her sad state.
Honesty and integrity we must restore
Only then, can Bharat Mata settle Her score.

TRADITION

It's tradition, that keeps and holds a culture together.

Slowly, it will die, if shifted we away, to things other.

Care great must be taken to hold these values precious together.

For it's tradition that holds a society or community together;

Shifting away from your roots may be fashion; but it's like foresaking your father.

Remember we must all, to adhere to our rich cultural heritage; foresaking it is disaster.

Let's respect and follow our rich culture, as we would respect our father n mother.

अरे तु तो है अन्तर्यामी, सब जाने।
काश तु, मेरा कहा जाने और माने ।
मै इंसान सीधा सादा, अपना भला न जानूं;

इच्छाएं मेरी अनेक, कितने वरदान मांगू!

તમને નૂતન વર્ષ અભિનંદન કહું, યા  સાલ મુબારક

સારું રહે સ્વાસ્થ્ય તમારું, વધે તમારાં રોજી રજક

સુખ શાંતિ સાથે ખુબ વધે તમારું "ગુડ લક" .

જીવનમાં આગળ વધવાની સદા મળે તમને તક.

ખુશ બધાને રહેજો અને પોતે રહેજો ખુશ, એ છે આપણો હક.

આવતું સાલ, હર રીતે હોજો સૌને મુબારક.

If extra unused food from parties, hotels, restaurants etc can be left in refrigerators for the poor;
and used food, bones etc be fed to dogs, cats et al so many millions can survive.
Vegetable peels can be fed to cows , goats
A small old ***, even a partly broken one can be used to feed water n food to them.

In fact, Mum used to say, they had to put aside a little food in their plate for dogs.

Let's start with this in our own small way.

Thought a dog, though they bark like me, mankind is very far from being faithful

Wondering was a cat, they have enough food, yet, just like me, they steal

A fox said, " I am shocked! Men are much more cunning than I am, n most ungrateful too"

A croc felt disgusted, when he saw a man attacking another, stabbing his back

A Chamillion was amazed; *** how can a man change so many colors n that too, so efficiently n quickly!!!

We seriously need to rethink n reconsider; is this our decline??? Shouldn't we improve???

How do I tell you, of the love that is so deep in my heart?
How do I tell you, of my existence, you are the most important part ?
Darling, my sweetheart, to do this, I wish I was bold and smart.

Love is only giving, I agree; to you, I give it .
It's without expectations, I do agree; but wish in return, a wee bit.
Deny it not, on my death bed; my listless eyes, you will see lit (up).

How I wish, if not in reality, you will visit me in my dream.
All I need is a smile n a word kind; I ask not for the cream.
But darling dearest, instead you have built a wall, a ridge, a seam.

Invite you to smile at me and speak I, to-night;
In my dream, wish I to see your warmth n light.
Your arms around me; will make me feel very bright.

Peace not pieces, require we please

Healing waves to this tattered Earth , release;

May strife, hatred, jealousy n vices other cease.

Storms plenty there are, now send us cool breeze;

Turn our burning  deserts into lush green trees.

पर तुझसे इस प्यार का कर न सके इज़हार

दिल की बात दिल में रही, हुआ न कभी इकरार;

पर, फिर प्यार कर न सके हम कभीभी दूसरी बार

अगर इसे जीना कहते है तो जी रहे है, बेह रही है समय की धार ।

Drank I, from their depths, as we together laughed n dined.

Your face so honest, sincere n beautiful, of an angel, us did remind.

Oh those dimples, when you smile,  only in a beautiful fairy one can find.

Ahura lovingly sculpted you, making you caring, loving n kind.

Incorporating in you, physical n mental beauty, all combind

Darling, once again , to get into my loving arms, would you mind?

Difficult it will be from Heaven to travel; but I know you won't mind.

શબ્દો મારે

શબ્દો જીવાડે

શબ્દો વાપરવા પેહલા તું જરા એનો અંજામ વિચાર.,...

હિમ્મત અને આશ આપે એવા શબ્દ બોલ, નૈયા કોઈની લાગશે પાર.

અગર તારા શબ્દ કોઈ ને કરે નિરાશ કે દુઃખી, તો થશે તારી બી હાર. મરતા ને તું ન માર.

આપશે તું પ્રોત્સાહન અને પ્રેમ તો માનવ માત્ર એક આશ પર જીવી જશે. સમજ તું શબ્દો નો સાર

બધું છે કુંભાર ને હાથ

માટી ને ક્યાં હોય છે ખબર એનો પોતાનો, એના ભવિષ્ય નો ઘાટ;

ભાઈ, એ તો છે બધું, માત પિતા રૂપી, સંસ્કારી કુંભારને હાથ.

કુંભાર ની કુશળતા લાવે નવા નવા રંગ; મૂર્તિ નો ઘાટ,  કુંભાર જ સ્થાપે

માટી તો બસ પકડે એ ઘાટ, જે કુંભાર એને એના હાથોથી આપે.

આપણા હાથો માં છે આપણા બાળકો નો ભવિષ્ય નો ઘાટ;

હીરા જેવો તેજસ્વી બનાવો, કે આપો એને વાંકો ચૂકો ઘાટ.

દીનપરસ્ત, સંસ્કારી બનાવો, આપી તમારો હાથ અને સાથ.

એજ થશે ભવિષ્યમાં, આપણા માટે, બહુ મહત્ત્વ ની વાત.

વાણી

ચાહયું હતું મે, તારી જબાન હોય, મીઠી રુમઝુમ તી પાયલ.
થઈ જાત હું એની પરસ્તાર, તારી કાયલ;
પણ તારી કડવી વાણી એ કર્યું મારું કોમળ હૈયું ઘાયલ.

શરીર ના ગેહરા ઘા બી, ઔષદીથી રૂઝાય
પણ તારા શબ્દોથી જાગેલી આગ કેમ બુઝાય
માનસિક ઘા તો , રૂહને તહેસનેહેસ કરી, દુઝાય.

વિચાર વગરની વાણી, કરે ઊંડા, ઝેરીલા ઘા.
મીઠી સૂરીલી વાણી તું સદા બોલ; અને એના ગીત ગા.
સાંભળી જે, રુહને મળે સુકુન, જેમ મીઠું હાલરડું ગાય માં.

RUIN

O man did the Lord create you, to His planet, this Earth ruin ?

Beautiful places lush green, transferred you have into concrete jungles.

Lakes you destroy, rivers, seas, oceans you pollute.

What have you made a paradise like Kashmir into ?

A living hell for beauty n peace- lovers it has now become.

Man, even your own body you disease with bad food, smoke n drugs.

Your tongue sharper than a sword, another's peace destroys.

Your very own mind poison you, with thoughts ugly and harmful.

Why are you out to this beautiful world, our Earth ruin ?

A fair weather friend, please be do not.

In silly misunderstandings, do  not get caught

Cause these  battles, which were unnecessarily fought.

In friendship, politics and religion, please involve do not .

Stand by your friends as solid rocks, when they need support.

Be that anchor strong; be their ship's port.

कब तक राह निहारू,
कब तक आश लगाए बैठी रहूं ?

समझ में नहीं आता कुछ मुझे,
कब तक चुप बैठ कर सेहती रहूं ?

कहते है सब सबूरी का फल मीठा होता है; मै कब तक युह बैठी रहूं ?

दाता मेरे, तु क्यू नही समझता, आखिर मै भी तो एक इंसान हूं !

बीज बोए, पर वृक्ष का कोई निशान नहीं, अरे, दो चार पत्ते भी उघे नहीं

पेड़ पौधे उघा, धरती को दुल्हन बना, मै अब और कुछ जानू नहीं ।

अगर यूह ही चलता रहेगा तो कोई किसान न रहेगा; उजड़ जाएगी धरा

कृपा कर हे कृपानिधान, संकटमे है बाग, बगीचे और वन, कृपा कर जरा

रण को बना हरियाली भरे खेतखल्यान, आे दयानिधान, तु तो है महान ।

વિનંતી

આપજે તું તારો પ્રેમાળ હાથ, કરજે સદા મને પ્યાર;

મૌત આવે તારે રેહજે તું મારી સાથ, ઓ મારા પર્વર્દેગાર.

તું તો છે પ્રેમ નો ભંડાર, અમારો એકમાત્ર આધાર

આવે જ્યારે વિદાય ની વેળા, છોડું હું જ્યારે આં સંસાર;

આવી તારે, રેહજ ખડો, વિનંતી કરવી ન પડે વારમ વાર.

શ્રદ્ધા, સબૂરી જાળવી શકું, કરી શકું તને ખૂબ પ્યાર,

આપજે એવા આશીર્વાદ;  કે નૈયા મારી પહોંચે પેલે પાર.

એક એક મોતી પિરોવી, બનાવી છે આં ગીતો ની માળા

અર્પણ કરું છું હું તને એ, ઘણા પ્રેમથી, મારા વાહલાં

મન ના મોતી પિરોવિયા છે મે, પ્રેમ થી છે જે ભરપુર;

કવિતા લખતાં ભરાય મારું હૈયું, પ્રેમથી થાય એ ઉર પુર.

એક એક શબ્દ ગાઈ, પ્રેમ થી કરું છું તુજને આં અર્પણ.

આપજે આશિષ એવા, કે જગ વાંચી, ઝાંકે ભીતર, જુવે દર્પણ;

કરે એ લોક આત્મ દર્શન; પછી તુજકને હું બીજું માંગુ શું ભલા !

આં શબ્દો ને ઢાળી ને ગીતોમાં, રિઝાઉં તુજને; અર્પણ કરું તુજને એ સઘળાં.

જમાના ને પસંદ એ આવે કે નહિ, ભલે એમને હોય ના આં મોતીઓ નું મોળ;

પણ સ્વિકરજે તું, આં મોતી મારા અનમોલ; જમાનો કરી શકે ન એમનો તોળ.

WORDS FROM THE HEART

Many read, go through it all;  but sadly,  just a few understand;

Those sensitive issues of the heart not the ones written by hand.

Feelings cannot easily be described, but the heart helps us understand.

Words thought n written by the mind may be perfect or grand;

But they are temporary, like those,  written softly on the sand.

Whilst words that come from the heart are like those, on a rock, carved by hand.

प्रीत की डोर

मन माने ना, पर दिल मचाए शोर, कहे वह जोर-जोर से,
होती है नाज़ुक, लेकिन होती नहीं कमजोर ,
प्रीत की यह डोर ।

सालों नहीं,  जन्मो जन्म की लंबी होती है यह प्रीत की डोर ।
प्रीत कभी मरती नहीं, होती नहीं वह कमजोर, पर नाजुक होती है प्रीत की डोर ।

प्रीत मागे प्रियतम से प्यार,
भले मिले ना मिले उसे संसार ।
नाजुक सा यह रिश्ता, चाहे न ज्यादा, बस मांगे प्रीतम का प्यार ।

मैं भी मांगु अपने प्रीतम से, प्यार का इजहार ।
बस एक बार बस एक ही बार कर दो तुम इकरार ।

बांध लो मुझे इस बंधन में, बांध लो मुझे से यह नाजुक डोर ।
हूं मैं तुम्हारी जन्मो जन्म से करती हूं मैं आज यह इकरार ।

Forgotten we have; all that Jesus sacrificed, all that he taught.

In our blind race of ego, power n money- obsession we are absolutely caught.

He gave his all for this Mankind; teaching us, to kind n compassionate be;

And we! we forgot his sacrifice; blinded with pride and prejudice, truth we refuse to see.

बड़ी लम्बी है मेरी यह, प्यार कि दास्तान ।

सालों पहले चला था,  नैनो से एक तिरछा बाण ।

नज़र मेरी पड़ी उनपे, और दिल निकल गया हाथों से ।

बस उस दिन से, दिल गवाया व्यर्थ बातों में ।

सपने देखे दिन में, रातो कि नींद भी गवाई मैंने ।

एक तरफा प्यार निभाया मैंने सालों से ।

करू क्या, देखते ही देखते, मै रह गई अकेली जीवन में ।

सुनाऊं किसे यह मेरे जीवन की दास्तान ।

बहुत दुखी हो गई है मेरी नन्ही सी जान ।

પ્રેરણા

અંતર મન જગાડ, ઓ અહુરા મારું, અંતર મન જગાડ

જ્યારે જ્યારે ખતરો આવવાનો હોય ત્યારે તું એક ઘંટડી વાગડ.

પ્રેરણા આપજે, બની ને રહેજે પ્રેરણાસ્ત્રોત મારો

માનું છું ઓ મઝદા , ખૂબ ખૂબ આભાર તારો.

આવે જો અહરેમાન આજુબાજુ તો એને ભગાડજે.

અંતર આત્મા મારો ઝંઝોળી ને બી જગાડજે.

ખોરદાદ સાલ મુબારક

તને એમની બાહોં માં લઈ, થયાં હશે માતા  દુઘદવા ( દોગ્દો) બહુ ખુશ;

પિતા પૌરુષસ્પે પ્રકૃતિ નિ સાથે મળી ઉજવ્યો હશે આં તેહવાર, ઓ  ઝરથુશ્ત્ર.

અમે બી મનાવિયે છિયે આં ખુશાલી, ખારાં દિલથી, હર સાલ.

પૈગામ્બર પ્યારા, મુબારક હોજો તમને હર એક રીતે,  ખોરદાદ સાલ.  

માનીયે કોટિ કોટિ ઉપકાર અહુરા નો, કરી આદર પુર્વક એમને નમન

અને, આં મોટી ખુશાલિમાં લઈ ભાગ, કરીયે સ્વાદિષ્ટ મઝાનું જમણ.

થઈ રહ્યું છે દુખ, અને છે ચિંતા બી ભારી, મુશ્કીલ માં છે આપરો, (તારો પણ) આં દીન.

બસ સુઝાડ્જે હર એક ને સાચી , નેક રાહ; ફરિ એક વાર, ખુબ ફુલે ફળે આં દીન.

KEEP GOING

Rough is the terrain, fall one can; but don't lose heart,  keep going.

Cliffs and  valleys,  of life are an integrated part ,  falter we may; but don't lose heart,  keep going

મફત માં ગેસ

અરે પાછું ચાલુ થયું આં મારું કામ કાજ

વિચારું છું, કેટલા બુલા ભરાશે આજ

બહુ બેસુરું છે આં; વિના સુર કે સાઝ

લાગે જાણે હોય નાની, વિના વીજની ગાજ.

વળી પાછી, છાતીમાં વધી રહી છે દાઝ

આવે છે બસ બેસૂરા અવાજ વિના કોઈ અલ્ફાઝ

આ થાય ત્યારે જીવ અકળાય અને બહાર જતાં આવે લાજ

વિચાર આવે, આં હાલત માં શું કહેશે સમાજ

અરે ઘડપણમાં તો આં ઘણાને થાય, આં છે ઓડકાર નો અવાજ

આટલી ગેસ, આટલો વાયુ, એક બુલો તો ભરાય જાય આજ.

SOOTHE

Our speech, should every listener soothe.

Use words that never hurt; don't be uncouth.

In this world, there's a lot of negativity today;

Heal, soothe; if you cannot, at least do not anyone flay.

In these troubled times, at unrest is everyone's mind;

Try out music n words like honey to broken hearts bind.

If you capable are not, at least spew poison do not.

If help we cannot a troubled soul, hurt it not.

લખાવ

હું પણ જાણું છું, હું  નથી તારો પાર્થ;

સ્તુતિ તારી લખવી છે, કૃપા કર,  આપ મને સાથ

સુજતા નથી શબ્દ;  ચાલતા નથી મારા હાથ ;

તું અને તું જ કરી શકે છે આં પરમાર્થ ;

કારણ, ક્યાંક ને ક્યાંક, બંધાઈ ગયો છે એક ગાંઠ.

દિલ થી લખવું છે, સુઝાડ શબ્દો અતિ સુંદર ;

સુરીલા તાન થી ગવાય કે તાર ઝણઝણી ઊઠે, દિલની અંદર.

આં નાનકડા હાથ ઓ બાબા મારા, માંગે છે તારો સાથ.

પ્રેમઅશ્રુ વહી, બની જાય મોતિધારા , હે જગન્નાથ!

સદા કાળ, આપજે મને, તારો પ્રેમાળ સાથ.
