KEEP GOING

Rough is the terrain, fall one can; but don't lose heart,  keep going.

Cliffs and  valleys,  of life are an integrated part ,  falter we may; but don't lose heart,  keep going

Plastics, so many innocent animals ****.
Awful to see them die or trapped, I feel.
Let our utter selfishness, their fate not seal.

Let us strictly restrict the use of plastic please.
Let's not pollute the Earth by using it; this must cease.
Or, for generation next, very heavy will be the fees.

Oh ! ! So many innocent creatures dead !
If each of us shares this poem; this message can spread.
Please please please do this, before you go to bed.

Be it WA, emails, or on your face book page
Help me please, to spread it at every stage.
We have no license to animals **** or them for our pleasure cage.

अरे भाई, निष्ठुर हो के लोगों को  युह न मार

क्यों करता है दूसरों पे बिना सोचे समझे वार

कभी जरा अपने भीतर तो झांक मेरे यार ।

कभी देख ले करके सब से भाईचारा और प्यार

सुकून मिलेगा बहुत; कर ले तू, मेरा ऐतबार ।

भगवान कहे कोई, और कोई अल्लाह; जिसने रचा संसार

वो कहता है, सब है एक समान; बस तु सबसे कर प्यार ।

विनती करती हूं, कुछ भी करने से पहले, सोचना एक बार;

जवाब मिलेगा जब झांकोगे भीतर, अपनी अंदर एक बार ।

Happy Republic Day

Love I my Bharat Mata, my revered country.
Respect and salute I, every soldier n sentry;
Who to Her enemies, day n night, bar an entry.

Expect we very many things, from our Country;
Instead, we should help Her, by becoming a voluntary sentry.
Guarding Her in our small way, locally, without being in any ministry.

Stop chopping and plant a tree or more to keep Her green.
Waste not water, litter or pollute do not, and keep Her clean.
Fight against each other on matters petty, do not. Keep Her serene.

Learn every citizen must, to give the other, mutual respect.
Let us not every other person, unnecessarily suspect.
Remember each and every Indian must, this important aspect.

અરે પાછું ચાલુ થયું આં મારું કામ કાજ

વિચારું છું, કેટલા બુલા ભરાશે આજ

બહુ બેસુરું છે આં; વિના સુર કે સાઝ

લાગે જાણે હોય નાની, વિના વીજની ગાજ.

વળી પાછી, છાતીમાં વધી રહી છે દાઝ

આવે છે બસ બેસૂરા અવાજ વિના કોઈ અલ્ફાઝ

આ થાય ત્યારે જીવ અકળાય અને બહાર જતાં આવે લાજ

વિચાર આવે, આં હાલત માં શું કહેશે સમાજ

અરે ઘડપણમાં તો આં ઘણાને થાય, આં છે ઓડકાર નો અવાજ

આટલી ગેસ, આટલો વાયુ, એક બુલો તો ભરાય જાય આજ.

साथ

नाज़ था हमें जिनपर वो धीरे धीरे, रिश्ता तोड़ चले है ।

मात पिता जिनपर हम निर्भर थे, हमें छोड़ कर चले गए हैं।

भाई बहन जिनसे था नाता दिलका, वो भी मुंह मोड़ चुके हैं

अरे , अब तो तन ने भी साथ निभाना छोड़ दिया है ;

धीरे धीरे, साथ हमारा, हमारे ही अंग छोड़ चले है ।

आंखे हो रही है धुंधली, कानभी वादा तोड़ रहे हैं।

केश सफेद हो रहे है, और आइना झुर्रियां बता रहा है ।

दांतों ने तो धोका दिया है,
टूट गए हैं; जिव्हा भी नखरे दिखा रही है।

दिल, जिगर, फेफड़े जिन्हें समजते थे हम अपने;

घुटने, हाथ पैर सब छोड़ रहे हैं साथ; दिखा रहे है जूठे सपने

इसी बात का है दर्द मुझे, छूट रहा है अपनो का साथ ।

खुद के बुड्ढे शरीर को देख कर, होता नहीं है विश्वास !

कैसे जिएंगे ऐ प्रिय जनो तुम बिन, मुश्किल न हो जाए, लेना श्वाश ।।।

લાખો તારાઓ મધ્યે ચમકે ચંદરવો એકલો

વિશાળ ગગનમાં રહે સુર્ય એકલો અટૂલો

કરોડો માનવો આં ધરતી ઉપર વસે;

અનેક માં, તું એકલો અનેરો વસે.

યાદ રહે, તું એક માત્ર જ તારા જેવો છે;

બીજો કોઈ નથી તારા જેવો અનોખો.

માટે, બીજા જેવો થવાની કોશિશ કરતો નહિ

એ હરકત કે કોશિશ, નથી તારા માટે સહી.

તુને માલિકે બનાવ્યો છે એક માત્ર અનોખો.

તારી ખૂબીઓ ખોજ, એમને ચમકાવ રોજ રોજ

આં પામવા મેહનત કરવી પડશે તને ઘણી

THE EFFECTS OF LOVE

An ailing patient, with a dose of love n care,  survive can.

That's why,  patient's relatives, from visiting, do not ban.

Even a pet,  who unconditional love gives, helps to heal.

Doctors,  Nurses,  should try to treat a patient,  with a  feel.

Mother Teresa,  helped those helpless ones,  with love;

She selflessly did, the abandoned ones, lovingly serve.

Love,  a hardened heart, a heart like stone, can at times melt.

Sinners big, robbers, thieves,  murderers, loves positive effects have felt.

Easy it will be, if once this idea, our world conceives.

May we our hearts n minds open up and love sincerely give.

હુશિયાર રતી

એક બહુ લુચ્ચી, લાલ લોમડી હતી

એની હતી બસ એક જ ગતી;

એ રોજ મરઘી ચોરી ને ખાઈ જતી.

બિચારી મરઘીઓ એને જોઈ ને ફફરતી.

હતી એક હુશિયાર છોકરી, નામ હતું રતી.

એ રોજ સ્કુલ આવતાં  જતાં, આં સાંભળતી.

રતીની એક નાનકડી રમકડાં ની મરઘી હતી;

એક રાત્રે રતીએ એને રઝળતી મૂકી દીધી હતી.

લુચ્ચી લોમડી ની મરી ગઈ હતી મતી;

એટલે મારી છલાંગ, એને ગળી લીધી, બની એક કસાઈ.

રમકડાં ની મરઘી, હવે ગઈ બરાબર મોહમાં ફસાઈ,

છટ પટાવા લાગી લોમડી, ગળામાં એના, મરઘી ઘસાઈ.

તાડપવા લાગી એ, મરઘી ગળામાં એના જ્યારે ફસાઈ.

મરઘી નો શિકાર કરવા, લોમડી હવે ગભરાઈ.

લુચ્ચી લોમડી હમેશા માટે ભાગી ગઇ; પાછી ન એ કદી દેખાઈ.

What's first Love, I wouldn't know.

All I know is, you are my only love.

Cupid's arrow pierced once n  stayed there, within.

Entered it there; and, stayed there,  right in.

Wonder I, how can one fall in love again n again

Even if I ever tried it, surely it would be in wane.

So you are my only love, whom I lost my heart to.

All I can tell you is, with all my heart, I love only you.

One's money, one can easily  blast;

Youth and looks, anyway don't last;

Time ticks on, and keeps changing fast;

People who were revolving around,  now you outcast.

Sadly, soon one starts peeping into one's past;

માડી મારી,

જરૂરત છે મને તારી, એક મિનિટ માટે શું તું આવી શકશે.
શું તારા સ્વર્ગ ના કાર્યક્રમો છોડી છાડી, મને મળી શકશે ?

બોલાવવી ના જોઈએ પણ તારા વગર સમજે કોણ, મારા અંતર નું દુઃખ.
બસ તારી બાહોમાં લઇ લે, માથે હાથ ફેરવ જે; તુરંત દૂર થશે મારું દુઃખ.

દિલ ભારી થઇ ગયું છે, હળવું કરું કેમ; તારા ખોળે માથું મૂકીને રડવું છે.
તારી સાથે બે પળ ગુજારી, માડી મારી, હૈયું મારું હળવું કરવું છે.

TRUTH ABOUT RELIGION

Only humans we were all.

Then saints some gave us a call.

Introducing a path, to God reach.

Different principles they did teach.

Then some followers with enthusiasm filled;

Lured people;  n fear n force instilled.

Thus started a wrong procedure of conversion.

This unnecessarily creates friction and aversion.

Just once if pause we; ponder over and deeply think;

We can establish reasoning and a very sensible link.

Were our forefathers in India Muslims, Christians or Hindus.

Was Iran a Muslim nation; or actually Zarthosti, upto the Indus.

Within us we have an answer. Religion is a matter personal.

By discussions, arguments n wielding power n force it becomes arsenal.

Let's love the religion we are born in n it practise; but try not to it impose.

To convey this beautiful truth, this poem I did compose.

SLUMBER SWEET

Oh it's enough,  I do not want to anymore weep;

Come,  kiss my eyelids and lull me to sweet sleep.

Slumber I much need,  peaceful and deep.

Upon your lap, place my head, do not any pillows heap;

or into your delicate loving arms, let me please creep.

In my dreams sweet,  love I would,  in the past to peep;

A lullaby in your voice sweet,  into my tired weary body should seep;

मैंने कहा था,  बचाना मेरे वृक्ष हरे भरे घटादार;

इन्हें बचानेकी बिनती की मैंने तुझे बार बार

बनके निडर, रेहते थे कितने पक्षी यहां, नर और नार ।

कोयल कूकती थी, तोते मेना आते थे झुंड में यहा

गिलहरिया हमेशा भागती थी यहां से वहां ।

पर सुनता है तु  हमारे मन की सदा कहां !!

इनकी तेहनिया थी फूलों से लदी हुई ;

भले न थे मेरे आंगन में गुलाब मोगरे या जूही ;

थे इनमें फूल रंग बे रंगी, तो क्या हुआ गर इनमें खुशबू न हुई

देते थे वो प्राण वायु और अनेकों को छाया;

था मुझे उनसे गहरा लगाव और माया

मैंने कभी न समझा था इन्हें पराया ।

इन्सान तो है खुदगर्ज, बेरहम और जुनूनी;

शहीद हो गए वो; तुने क्यों बिनती मेरी नहीं सुनी ?

समझमें आता नहीं हम क्या करें; तूही बता ऐ महागुनी !

लाखो लोगो में, मैंने तुझे ही क्यों चाहा;

बस तुझे ही क्यों इस दिल ने सराहा ?

कभी फुलोंकी सेज बन जाती है जिंदगी;

कभी कांटो का बिस्तर हो जाती है यही जिंदगी ।

हसाती है यह कभी तो कभी रुलाती है जिंदगी ।

कुछ भी हो, बहुत ही अजीब है यह जिंदगी

Peals of laughter, we hear, as the bells toll,
Xmas is here, once again ; Santa may call.
Request him I will, to grant us, prosperity n peace.
May all our troubles n tribulations forever cease.

Dear Santa, the world today, for peace of mind yearns ;
Yet to achieve the same, no one wishes, to ways learn.
Gift us with thoughts, words and deeds good.
These definitely, most certainly, change the world would.

દિલને ખૂણે

આપજે મને એક નાની જગા, તારા દિલના એક ખૂણે.

ખુશ થઈશ પામી આં જગા મહામૂલી; દુઆ આપીશ તને.

બસ એક વાર કહી દે, કે તે આપી એ નાનકડી જગા મને;

રહીશ હું ત્યાં ખુશખુશાલ, પ્રેમથી, એ આંગણે તારે.

આં વ્યવસાયથી ભરેલી કૃત્રિમતા થી ભરપુર દુનિયા સાથે કઈ લેવાદેવા નથી મારે.

ખુશ થઈશ હું, જો રેવા મળશે તારા દિલના ખૂણે; બીજું કંઈ ના જોઈએ મારે.

Oh ! how very often and why do we grumble?

Otherwise, slowly we unpleasant words  often mumble;

Or like a wasp or bee, below our breath, softly just bumble.

Or with a verbal diarrhoea,  nonstop words, from our mouth simply tumble

But care great we must take, like a pack of cards,  not to crumble.

At times, in our desperation, or anger for words, we fumble,

Before we actually speak,  think we must often, or land we will in trouble.

Always remember to God thank for His grace, right away, for life is a big bubble.

Towards people whom think we  may are insignificant,  we aught to be humble.

PEACE

The world today broken has, into bits n pieces small.
Fragmented, as if, anytime ready to crumble and fall.
To save it from destruction, upon You, I beg, pray and call.

In California, very recently, there was havoc; due to a fire ball.
Floods wreck places many n in earthquakes houses fall.
Lord, tell us, how can these calamities we stall ?

Instead of bits n pieces small,  need we, lots of peace.
Instead of storms n  calamities, we need some calm cool breeze.
O Ahura, mercy have on us n grant us peace n love please.

VIBRATIONS

Every thing we do, some vibration creates ;

This is what science and  karma states.

Think when we good; better the score rates.

Words soothing n calming good vibrations form.

So also do our actions good, says the Karma norm.

Evil thoughts, words n deeds bring about a negative storm.

That's why, upto us it is, to decide what's good.

Negative vibrations  difficulties create would.

Each of us, vibrations good, create should.

नैन मिले, तो अपना ही चैन गवां बैठे, अपने ही हाथों से  हम

पर शायद इतना त्याग भी मेरे खुदा को लगता है कम ;

मिलती नहीं एक झलक भी आपकी हमें, इस बात का है बहुत गम

मिलन

कितना हसीन है यह रंगीन नज़ारा !

विशाल बहती नदिका सुनहरा किनारा !

और आज मौसम भी है नशीला, बड़ा ही प्यारा ।

चंचल है लहरें उसकी, और तेज है धारा;

उसकी यही चंचलतापे, सागर उसका दिल हारा

उसे अपनी बाहोंमें लेने, फिरता है मारा मारा ।

कितना दिलकश, कितना हसीन है यह नज़ारा ।

कश्ती में कोई, आज शायद मिलन होगा हमारा

सदियों बाद मिलेंगी मौज से मौज; एक हो जाएंगी जीवनधारा ।

नदी चली है सागर में समाने, चली छोड़ के अपना किनारा ।

खिल उठी है वो; पि से होगा आज मिलन, बड़ा ही प्यारा;

दिलकश होगा बड़ा, यह मिलन का, यह प्यारा नज़ारा।

Breathless Children to the hospitals will be brought;

If chop off trees you will, oxygen will have to be bought.

Water shortage acute will become n diseases increase will, in a draught.

Grow 🌲 trees, chop them off please do not.

कभी तो एक नज़र डाल यहां, तुझ बिन जी के क्या करू;

प्रेम की पीड़ा कब तक और कैसे मै अकेली सहुं;

तु क्या जाने जुदाई का गम, इसे मैंने है अकेले सही।

यह कैसी प्रीत, बात होठो पे आती ही नहीं

मन ही मन में रही प्रीत, कह न सकी कभी तुझे;

और तु है, के देखा ही नहीं कभी भी मुझे ।

माना तु है राधिका का, पर मैंने भी तुझे है चाहा

फिर तु इतना निर्मोही बनके,  क्यू है रहा ???

एक नज़र इधर भी डाल, देख भी जा तेरी मीरां का हाल

दिल में जलता है प्रीत का दीप; हूं मैं कितनी बेहाल

आ जाना मौत के पहले, वरना हमेशा रहेगा यह गम

नज़र बूरी

खुशियों ही खुशियों से भरा था हमारा दामन ।
घर में और बाहर, चारों ओर फैला था अमन।
अचानक एक बलाका हुआ, ऐसा आगमन;
कि लग गई नज़र बूरी, अब जल रहा है, हमारा चमन।

आलीशान सा घर था, और प्रेम-पुष्पो से, चमन था भरपुर ।
सदस्य रहते थे देश-  परदेश; कोई पास कोई दुर।
पर जुड़े हुए थे सब दिल से, जानता है तु यह सच, मेरे हुज़ूर ।
हर कोई जीता था एक दूजे के लिए, जिंदगी थी खुष्नूर ।

उस बला ने डाली फूट चमनमे; डाली ऐसी चिंगारी, कि लग गई
आग ।
बचानेके, मां ने, मौसी ने, बुआने, सब ने प्रयत्न किए अथाग;
पर फिर भी हो गए मजबूर, बुझा न सका कोई यह आग ।
नज़र बूरी ऐसी डाली; मुरझाई कली कली, राख होने को है मेरा बाग ।

ऐ भगवान, तु तो है वाकिफ, जानता है तु पूरी दास्तान ।
मिला दे बिछड़े भाई बहनों को, बक्ष दे उन्हें; दे दे आज वरदान।
लौटा दे उन्हें, उनका झूठ से उजाड़ा हुआ सनमान।
बता दें तू आज करिष्मा अपना; वोह भी समझे और जाने, तेरी पहचान ।

Would you really plead, postpone the cases of **** if your daughter, sister, wife or mother was involved ????

Money is important, undoubtedly so but can't we make it in a better way ???

I request everyone please please please do not delay or come in the way of justice. Let not the laws of KARMA punish you.

Its my humble request to awaken your conscience which may be in stupor.

As ends two thousand n twenty; hope we, end all our ordeals

Here is wishing that this ailing world, now very quickly heals

May  covid goodbye say; and for ever is gone; endorse we can, close deals.

Health, businesses, travel etc are disrupted n fate many things seals.

But now light let us, a flame of Hope n expect things bright.

May the coming year also bring with it peace, prosperity and divine light.

Hope mankind lessons has learnt, not to, with Nature interfere or fight.

Ahura kind, help us  heal; grant us please that divine insight.

Difficult it will be, to get water for drinking.

હવે તો આવે છે નજર, દેશની બરબાદિ ના  આસાર;

ઉડાવે છે આપણી મઝાક, આં દુનિયા, આં આખો સંસાર

ગિદ્ધની જેમ અમીરો, ગરીબોના ભાગનો ખાઇ રહ્યાં છે કંસાર;

પડતી થઈ રહી છે ગરીબો અને  સાધરણ લોકોની વારમ વાર

અબળાઓની સુરક્ષાની વ્યવસ્તા છે ડામાડોળ, જાણે ક્યાં ખોવાઈ ગયા, આપણા સંસ્કાર!!!

ઘરડાં વડીલોની લાગી છે વાટ, પાઈ પાઈએ મોહતાજ કરે છે બિચારાઓ ને સરકાર;

ઘવાયું છે, જખ્મી થયું છે આજે, એમનું સ્વાભિમાન, સ્વમાન.

શું આં જ, પેલા સ્વપ્નોનું  છે, આપણું પોતાનું હિન્દુસ્તાન?

મેળવી હતી સ્વતંત્રતા ગાંધીજીએ, બીજાં અનેકોએ; ત્યાગ આપી, આપી બલિદાન.

आपको

ओ चंदा, जा के उन्हें सुना दे, कहना, " मै रूठ गई हूं आपसे"

हवा के संग, गर मै उड़ सकती तो करती फरियाद आपसे;

बादलों का बिछोना बनाके, भीगी फिज़ाओं में मिलती आपसे ।

चंदा को देखूं नील गगन में मुस्कुराते और मन ही मन बातें करु आपसे

झिलमे भी चंदा मुस्कुराता है, चाहत उमड़ रही है, जरा छु लुं मैं आपको

पर कोई कहा चांद को छू सकता है; तो फिर मैं कैसे छु सकूं आपको

देवता तो रहते हैं मंदिरमें, मीरा बिचारी, छु न सकी आपको

नाची, भजन रचे और गाए आपके लिए; फिर भी कहां पा सकी आपको ?

THOSE YEARS

During our autumn years, on leaves dry we tread.
It's in times these, to lose our dear ones, we dread.
This anxiety impending, is always on our head;
It worries us more, than planning for our daily bread.

A phone call, on a still, quiet night, very late;
Sends our already weak heart racing, into a bad state.
Worry we tremendously, about the impending fate.
Though know we, for each one of us, fixed is a date.

Vulnerable we become, in this autumn season.
Think our near n dear ones involved will be, in treason.
Worry we, without  facts or any important reason.
Worry we unnecessarily endlessly, whatever be the season.

COINCIDENCES

Coincidences; do they really happen?

They sometimes help our spirits to soar or dampen.

Or divine plans unfold n for us, things take shape?

Some higher power, for us, things in a way different does drape.

God for us perhaps has a specific n special secret plan.

That's why, he puts us in a special place, time, or with  a special man.

Understand we do not this complicated plan divine;

And often our time waste in vices like women n wine.

The laws of karma are varied and indeed strange.

Karma has twisted ways;  and has a very long range.

It finds it's way to the doer; it inevitably comes back.

It can reward the doer or him, ruthlessly smack.

Help me O Ahura, to surrender to Your divine wish.

So that accept I Your plan, my karma and Your wish.

प्रेम दीवानी

लेके इकतारा चली मीरा, गिरिधर को धुंडने गली गली

जोगन बन गई आज यह प्रेम दीवानी, थी कभी जो, एक कुंवरी मनचली

मनमे मोहन, दिल में मोहन, लेके मूर्ति बस वो चली

पर मोहन न जाने छुप गया कहां ; उसकी आश नहीं फली

राणाने सताया, उदाने परेशान किया, प्रेम प्यासिकी दुनिया जली ।

दासी बन गई अब वह, कभी कुंवारी बन के, थी जो पली ।

फूल बन गए कांटे; चुभने लगी उसे कंटक बनी हुई एक एक कली ।

मिले न इस जोगन को मोहन; धुंड रही वो उसे गांव गांव, गली गली ।

An Ode to Emperor Kanishka that crashed on 23 June 1985....

So many  innocent lives and a majestic Aircraft was gone

Though life for others, after a while moved on;

But their dear ones miss them even today;

For them, very sad we feel; but all we can do is only pray.

O killers, answer you will have to, the Lord some day;

Go up there when you, to Him what will  you say ?

Remember KARMA LEAVES NO ONE; hence it won't leave you.

That day, indeed very late it will be, for you to rue.

You will have to pay for your cowardly act; when you, to live cease.

May the Lord bless those that left, with eternal progress n  peace.

खुदगर्ज

क्या कहूं; सचमे, बड़ा कमिना है यह इंसान ;

खुद गर्जी के लिए, संकट में डालता है किसी मासूम की जान

उसके गर्ज़ की, ख़ुदपरस्ती की कोई सीमा नहीं

नज़र अंदाज़ करता है उस गायकों, जिसने दिया है उसे दूध दही ।

देखते नहीं वोह काम या विश्वास; सिर्फ चाहिए उन्हें अंजाम ।

बदल जाता है उसका व्यवहार, जब हो जाता है पूरा उनका काम;

काम अपना पूरा होने पर, बन जाते हैं यह बेपरवाह और अनजान

तुझ से भी यही व्यवहार करता है यह, तुझे तो है पता ऐ भगवान ।

માનવ મન

કાશ ઝાંકી શકતે હું, માનવ ના અંતર મનમાં !!

ઓપરેશન વખતે પોહચી શકાય કોઈના તનમાં;

પણ પહોંચી શકે ન કોઈ માનવ ના મનમાં.

હિપનોસિસ કદાચ આં કરિશ્મો કરી બતાવે

કે માનવ ખુદ પોતે કોઈ એંધાણી જતાવે;

બાકી તો જીભ બોલે કંઈ, આંખો બીજું અને મન ત્રીજું બતાવે.

દાતા, આવી કેવી તારી રચના, કંઈ તો તું કહે !!

મન બિચારું, આમ પીડા ક્યાં તક સહે

ક્યાં તક એ ચુપ રહે; કંઈ ના કહે.

એક સત્ય એ, કે  મન કોઈનું, વાંચી ન શકાય

મન માં ચાલતું હોય એ હોઠો પર લાવી ન શકાય

મન નથી એક પુસ્તક કે ચિત્રપટ જે જોઈ શકાય.

કાશ મન ની અંદર ઝાંકી શકાય
