LET'S CALL THEM BACK

Our environment, our Earth and its species many are in severe danger;

Let's not behave in a manner callous, as if we are aliens or strangers

Or our progeny forgive us never will; if we with Nature our ties ruthlessly sever

Right away, let's take steps, at least a few  little ones, to restore Nature; and it rever.

In our balconies, however tiny, a few plants grow; n a bowl of water there put

Young school n college students, plant should  seeds, or saplings with small roots

Let's call our many feathered friends, our birds, squirrels and other friends back

Let our efforts, willingness n fruitfullness show, let it in no way lack.

પગલાં

પાડ તું શુભ પગલાં તારા, મુજ અંતર મનમાં.

ઈચ્છું છું પ્રભુ, વસે તું, મારા બી કણ કણમાં.

કૃષ્ણ બની વાસ કરજે, જેમ કર્યો રાધા ને મીરાં માં.

હરિ ભજન ગાઉં હું, જેમ પુકારે ગિરિધરને મીરાં, મંદિર માં.

હરિએ જેમ રક્ષા કરી પ્રહલાદની, તેમ કરજે તું મારી.

ચીર હર બાળા નું સાચવજે તું, મેહરબાની તારી.

લક્ષ્મી બની કૃપા રહે તારી  હર ઘરમાં; વૈભવ રહે ઘર  ઘરમાં.

સુવે નહિ કોઈ ભૂખ્યું, અન્નપૂર્ણા થઈ અમને ખવડાવજે.

ભક્તિ કરવાની તત્પરતા અને આત્મ શક્તિ આપજે.

આંખો વિચાય એ પેહલા દર્શન થાય તારા, જલ્દી થી આવજે

હાથ પકડી દોરવી ને લઇ જવા, તું જરૂર વહેલો પધારજે.

પ્રભુ પ્યારા, અમને ડાહ્યાં,  સદગુણી અને સ્યાના બનાવજે.

મારો સારથી બની, સાથી બની પગલાં તારા મુજ અંતર મનમાં પાડજે.

खिला है चांद, पुर बहार, किए सोलह श्रंगार।
देख उसे, धड़कता दिल मेरा, करे यह पुकार;
"आजा प्रीतम, छाई है यहां बरखा बहार।"

रात आज लग रही है हसीन, बुंदोकी हो रही है फुहार।
खड़ी हूं मै, नैन बिछाए, किए सोलह श्रंगार
काश आज यह कातिल जुदाई की होजाए हार।

पिया- मिलन कि आश में, हो रही हूं बेकरार।
आयेंगे प्रीतम, करूंगी जी भरके प्यार

સંપૂર્ણ શરણાગતિ

યા ખુદા, માંગુ છું, તારી પાસે, સંપૂર્ણ શરણાગતિ ની દુઆ, જોડી મારા હાથ

કરતો નહીં મને નિરાશ; ડગમગે નહીં મારી આસ્થા, ધરજે હમેશા મારો હાથ

કાંઈબી થઈ જાય, આવે આંધી તોફાન, બસ તું છોડતો નહીં આ સંગાથ

મન છે ચંચળ, બેચેન થાય, પળભરમાં ડગમગી જાય, સમજાવજે એને ઓ નાથ

શરણાગતિ સ્વીકારજો મારી, ઓ દયાળુ પરવરદેગાર, ઓ દીનાનાથ

તારી મેહેર હશે તો, મારી શરણાગતિ માં પડી જાઉં ન હું પછાત.

Difficult times, a lot of important lessons teach us

The true character of people, we come to know thus.

These difficult times are terrifying, almost like a curse

Most difficult n taxing they are, on our wallet or purse

The hospitals n doctors openly man-handle us ;

Emotionally too we are crushed; its indeed a curse.

Lucky we were to have a few, kind n considerate docs n nurse.

Relatives n friends true who are, life then teaches us.

Sweet talks and advise give many, free of cost to us;

But few ready are to actually pitch in n alongside work with us.

Very many things, during these difficulties, life teaches us.

Most importantly, help us these difficulties, whom to trust

મારું ખાંડનું પોટલું

નાજુક એ એટલી, કે જાને હોય ઇંડાનું કોટલું;

ખાત્તી બટ તો એટલી કે જાને હોય કેરી નું ગોટલું

ખેંચી આવે એકદમ ચૂપચાપ થઈને, કોઈનું ચોટલું.

પણ છે એ મીઠ્ઠી મધુરી, ખાંડ નું એક મોટું પોટલું.

જ્યારે ગુસ્સો આવે ત્યારે લાગે એકદમ કડવું કારેલુ.

અથવા તો આતશ જેમ તપે એ, માનો લાકડું હોય બારેલું.

પણ મધ કરતાં એ મીઠ્ઠી હશે, એવું નહિ મે ધારેલું.

જીવ જાન અમારો, વસે એનામાં, છે મે પોટલાનેં દિલમાં મારા ઉતારેલું.

IMPRISONED

In the beautiful blue skies I used to independently fly;

For me to travel all around; limitless was the sky.

Then suddenly, into a cage I was put in, by a wicked man.

You humans, this dastardly act, must immediately ban.

To make money quick, he clipped off my beautiful wings

Then proudly showed me around n says hear how she sings.

Oh man, I ask you, how would feel you, if put in a jail

I am sure you would put up a fight or painfully cry and wail.

Imprison us do not, just for a quick buck; instead us protect.

Trees are our homes, do not them chop; keep them intact.

Let us with joy soar in the open skies n on trees nest.

Our creator has made us for the skies, n He undoubtedly is the best.

प्रकृतिकी रीत


मौत धीरे धीरे पास आ रही थी, मानो जान हाथोंसे छूट रही थी

प्रकृति ने हस कर कहा, यही उसकी रीत, एकदम सही थी;

भला, नदी कब सगरसे निकालके  पहाड़ की तरफ बही थी !

प्रकृतिने कभी भी, युगोसे, ऐसी कहानी कही नहीं थी ;

बचपन गया, जवानी ढली, वृद्धावस्थामे जान हाथोंसे छूट रही थी;

मानो, बुढापा कह रहा हो, रेत हाथोंसे फिसलती नज़र आ रही थी ।

यही है प्रकृति का नियम, यही जीवनकी रीत, सही थी।

अब तो दिख रहा है, मौत पास आ रही थी, और जान दूर जा रही थी।

घर घर गूंज रहा था यह नारा

अंग्रेजो छोड़ो, भारत है हमारा

आज का यही दिन, १९४२ का, था बहुत न्यारा

अब, हर भारतीय को था यह नारा बड़ा प्यारा

अब एक बार फिर, नया भारत बनाने चलो यारों

एक नया इतिहास बनाए जगमे, अनोखा, बिल्कुल न्यारा ।

HELP HER

Smile she did, always, and
Peals of laughter rang.

Today, unfortunately here, silence just hangs

What could be the reason ? No one really knows.

How I wish, share she would, with someone close.

Her sorrow filled forlorn eyes, nothing say.

For what is she fretting, what in her ***** does lay ?

Deep seated in her heart, is sorrow of some kind.

Somehow, I wish,  I could it's cause find.

A prayer small, for her, let us say," May her lost happiness she find".

Her sweet face needs a smile; O Ahura please be kind.

Can someone think of ideas on how to harvest tons of water that overflow during Monsoons

I practice n preach everyone on how to save water, even the half glass that remains unused....

Then during Monsoons, gates open and tons are wasted....

Can we not build huge big artificial lakes where the water can be siphoned to ???

Please think if it can be diverted to deserts, or empty lakes where the rainfall is scanty.

Please do pour in suggestions.

શીખવે બંને

કાગડો હોય છે જાડો અને કાળો, અને કોયલ રાણી તું પણ હોય છે કાળી;

પણ અવાજ માં તું છે સૂરો ની રાણી; મીઠા રાગ છેડનારી, સાવ નિરાલી

બિચારા કાગડા ની કા-કા થી, આપણી દુનિયા જાય છે કંટાળી

અને તારા મધુર સૂરો થી તન મન ડોલી ઊઠે, ઓ સૂરો ની રાણી

પણ સારું વર્તન બી છે ઘણું જરૂરી, કોયલ કરે ઈંડા કાંડ, કેવળ બોલે મીઠી વાણી

કાગડો કરે કકળાટ ભલે, પણ કરે એ પર્યાવરણ સાફ, ગંદકી માં મનાવે ઉજાણી;  

શીખ મળે છે બંને થી; પણ શું શીખવું એ આપણી ઉપર છે નિર્ભર; એકથી શીખવું જોઈએ વર્તન, બીજાથી વાણી.

Teach me to see in things, only positive.

And ignore things bad, mean or negative.

Since You have made me so sensitive;

Frequently I am touchy and emotive.

See I must, the good side in every circumstance.

Make a decision wise; to take the right chance;

Be it connected to society, Country, relationships or finance.

Help me O Ahura to keep a mind positive n balanced.

THE STRONGEST MUSCLE

Of our bodies, it is the strongest muscle;

If used thoughtlessly, it can create a huge tussle.

Biceps nor triceps;  it's our tongues.

Words can cut through hearts and lungs.

Remember, you may be great at eloquence;

But pause, think, speak, should be the sequence.

Hurt do not another, even if there is a grave cause.

Before you open your ******* mouth, just pause.

Let not anger, pride or ego take over your senses;

Or very bad n dangerous will be the consequences.

It's of utmost importance to use this muscle, with great care.

Once your words are said, to a bullet you can them compare.

So softly, gently, sweetly, we must speak.

Remember we must, never to shout, bark or squeak.

પૈસા

પૈસા ના છે બધે જ, ચારેકોર છે બોલ બાળા

આજના યુગમાં છે બધાંને પૈસા જ વહલા

પૈસાવાળો હોય તું, તો આપોઆપ, બધાં તારા ;

નહિ તો ભઈલા, કોણ તારા ને કોણ મારા !

પૈસા પાછળ માનવ કુતરા ની માફક ચાટતો આવે

જ્યાં પૈસો દેખાય ત્યાં જ એને ગમે અને ફાવે .

સઘળાં એવું માને કે, લક્ષ્મી, લક્ષ્મી ને ખેંચી પૈસો લા વે.

ગરીબ આપ્તજનથી એ અકળાય. હવે એને, એ ન ભાવે.

એવા આપ્તજન પૂરી ન કરી શકે, એની મોટી મોટી આશ.

જેમ પૈસો આવે, તેમ તેમ વધે પૈસા માટે પ્યાસ.

પૈસા પચાવી શકે કોઈક જ વિરલા, જે હોય ખાસ;

કારણ, પૈસો આપે અહમ અને ગર્વ; નોતરે એ સર્વનાશ.

સાવધાન રહેવું જોઇએ અતિશય પૈસા ના લોભ થી.

જીતશે કોણ ?

સતત તને ભૂલવાની, લાખ કોશિશ કરું છુ;

કેમ કે, તને યાદ કરી રોજ તલ તલ હું મરું છું.

જોઈએ, મન કે દિલ કોણ વધારે હાવી થઈ જાય;

કોણ નું વર્ચસ્વ વધી જાય, તેનું વિચારેલું થાય.

દિલ કહે પકડી રાખ, યાદો ને વળગી રહે.

મન કહે, તું આમ ખોટી વ્યથા શીદ સહે !

દિલ દિમાગ ની આં લડાઈ માં કોણી થશે જીત ?

આત્મા એ આપ્યો જવાબ, " હંમેશા જીતે પ્રીત".

પણ પ્રીત કોણી; "નથી એ તારી, છે એ તો એક પરછાયો"

"જે પડછાયો, તારા અસિતત્વ પર સદા માટે છે છાયો."

હવે વિજયી કોણ, શું ખબર, કોણી થશે જીત ?

મન કહે ભૂલી જા એને, દિલ કહે જીતશે પ્રીત.

दिल लगाने की सज़ा

यह क्या किया तुने मेरे मालिक, पल भरमे मेरा दिल हो गया पराया ;

उसके बिना बेजान हो कर जी रहा हूं; मेरे ही दिल ने मुझे हराया ।

प्यार हो जाता है यह सुना था; लेकिन इस उलझन में तुने, मुझे क्यू भरमाया

यह दिल अब अपना भी नहीं, और नहीं है उनका, हालात से मै हूं घभराया ।

दिल मुफ्त में दे दिया उनको; ऊपर से सज़ा मिली मुझे, दिल लगाने की

स्थिति बहुत ही बुरी है, इस बेकसूर गरीब मुफलिस  बेगाने की ।

कुछ तो बता, पूछ पूछ के थक चुका हूं मैं, ओ मालिक मेरे;

क्या इस दिल लगाने की भी  सज़ा होती है दरबार में तेरे ???

કરજે કાંઈક એવું

પૈસાવાળા  પોતાના પૈસાથી, ખરીદી શકે છે સુવિધા

પણ ગરીબ  બિચારા બાપડા ને તો નડે અનેક દુવિધા

સૂતો હોય જ્યારે ગરમી અને મચ્છર માં, ત્યારે વાયરો વાય ઠંડો;

કરજે કાઈક એવું, કે ખુશ રહે એ સીધો સાદો બંદો.

થરથર તી ઠંડીમાં તાપણું સલગાવજે, ને કામળો ઓઢાધજે;

હાડ ગળી ન જાય એના; એને બિચારાને, ઠંડીથી બચાવજે.

પાણી ની અછત લીધે જાન જાય છે ખેડૂતોનાં, વર્ષાનું કરાવજે આગમન.

વણ વિચાર્યે માનવ કાપે છે ઝાડ. હે શક્તિમાન, વધારજે વન- વિસ્તાર.

ગરીબો નો બેલી તું, દાતા તું, એમને તું, પ્રેમપૂર્વક સંભાળજે.

તાકત અને લગન બક્ષી એમને મેહેન્તું અને ઈમાનદાર બનાવજે.

ભલે દૌલતમંદો ભોગવે સુખ સુવિધાઓ અનેક;

કરજે કાઈક એવું કે સુવે ન કોઈ ભૂખ્યું, તરસ્યું.

હોજો તમને અમારા નમન

ઘણું વ્યથિત છે અમારું મન

સ્થિતિ છે અમારા પરે, કર તું આગમન

મારી કલ્પના નું, સ્વપનો નું ઘર, જર મેન્શન હોય જેનું નામ.

મારી મીઠ્ઠી માં ના નામ નું સ્મરણ કરાવે;  કરું એને, પ્રેમભર્યા પ્રણામ.

આં ઘર અને વાડી કરી શકું હું, એની સ્મૃતિમાં, એને અર્પણ.

હોય આં ઘર, હર એક રીતે,  મારી માં નું જીવતું જાગતું દર્પણ.

નાનો એક બંગલો હોય, એની ચારો તરફ હોય હરિયાળી.

બાલ્કની માં હોય એ રોકિંગ ચેર, જે છે મને સૌથી વાહલી.

એમાં ઝૂલતી હતી મારી મધ મીઠ્ઠી માં, જ્યારે કરતી એ થોડો વિશ્રામ.

ઝૂલો ઝૂલતી એ, સાંજના છેડે; જ્યાં મળતો એને બે ઘડી આરામ.

આગળ હોય એક ખૂબસૂરત, મઘમઘતા પુષ્પો થી ભરેલો બાગ.

ગુલાબ, મોગરા, જુહી થાય મૌસમ પ્રમાણે; બહાર હોય કે ફાગ.

આજુ બાજુ હોય વૃક્ષ મોટાં, ફળો થી લચ લચતાં, લીલાં છમ.

ખુશહાલી હોય ચૌ તરફ; અહીં ભરી શકીએ અમે, શાંતિ થી દમ.

આવું હોય મારું સ્વપ્નો નું નંદનવન; જ્યાં આંબે કુકે કોયલ, ગાય મીઠ્ઠા ગીત.

શું ક્યારેક આં જનમ માં, થશે મારા સ્વપ્નો સાકાર; શું થશે એમની જીત ?

શું હશે મારું પોતાનું એક નંદનવન, પ્રેમ થી ભરપુર અને પાવન

જ્યાં છલકતો હોય પ્રેમ નો સાગર, જ્યાં હોય ફૂલો થી લચ લચતો સાવન.

માતા તમને પુકારે છે, "આવો ; સ્વપ્નો થી ભરેલું ભારત બનાવો

જેમાં ખુશાલ હર રંગ, હર જાતના માનવ ફૂલ ઊગે એવું એને બનાવો.

"સોનાની ચીડિયા" ને પાછા પંખ આપીયે, સોનેરી એને બનાવો

હર ઈંટ હર સ્તંભ પ્રેમ ભાવથી ચણાઓ

મંદિર, મસ્જિદ, અગિયારીમાં સદભાવના જગાડો

હર સ્ત્રી, હર બાળા ને અંતર ના ઊંડાણ થી માન આપો;

રાધા હોય કે રાબિયા, એને નારી સન્માન આપો.

વિવેકી બનો અને હર બાળક ને વિવેકી બનાવો.

સ્વપ્નો સાકાર થાય એવું મહાન ભારત, ફરી એક વાર બનાવો."

AWAITING YOUR RESPONSE

Dear parents n Grandparents we have an important role to play.

Mould tenderly yet firmly, with great care we must, our wet clay.

Inculcate true values in these hearts tender, everyday.

Help the little ones to overcome habits unhealthy n keep vices at bay.

Money is  important, but also remember, most vices therein lay.

Utility correct, of wealth teach them, for them to happy stay.

These are my thoughts, I wanted to share; tell me, what do you have to say ???

વહાલો મને તારો સાથ

પકડ મારો હાથ, કૃપા કરી  આપ મને તારો સાથ;

કરાય આં  ભવ પાર, જો હોય તારો સંગાથ

અહુરા, કદી ના છોડતો મારો આં નાતવાન હાથ

કરી કૃપા, બની  કૃષ્ણ, બનાવજે મને તારો પાર્થ.

થાય ભવસાગર પાર, ત્યારેજ જયારે હોય સાથે જગન્નાથ;

એટલેજ તો મીરાં, હર હમેશાં ચાહે એના પ્રીતમ નો સાથ.

કરજે માફ જો થાય કોઇ ભુલ, પણ છોડતો ના કદી આં હાથ.

वन्दे मातरम्

जाने कहां गया, आजादी का जज़्बा आज ;

चुप हो गई है, वो "वन्दे मातरम्" के नरों की आवाज़ ।

काश होता जिंदा हमारा वो जज़्बा, आजभी ;

काश गूंजती "वन्दे मातरम्" के नारों की आवाज़ भी ।

कहां गए वो आज़ादी पे मर मीटनेवाले परवाने;

खेली थी खून की होली, वो निडर मस्ताने ;

जाने कहां गया वो जज़्बा वो जुनून !

वो वीरों जिन्हें मिलता था मौत में भी सुकून ।

आज छाई है बेताबी, एक अनचाही उदासी ।

मानो अंग्रजोंने फिर एक बार, छीन लि हो, हमारी झांसी ।

लगता है, मर गई हो एक बार, फिर वो बहादुर रानी,

एक बार फिर खत्म होने को है, आज़ादी की कहानी ।

जागो ओ नवजवानों, गहरी नींद से अपनी जागो ।

जातिवाद, कोमवाद, आरक्षण के पीछे मत भागो ।

माता हमारी एक है, उसको सब मिलके बचाओ ।

सब द्वेष, सब भेद भाव मिटाके, आजसे, अभिसे, एक हो जाओ ।

पर बेताब बहुत है दिल मेरा आज ।
सूने पड़े हैं मेरे सब सुर और साज़ ।

लगता नहीं है मन, भाते नहीं है मुझे सकल काज;
बड़ी बेताब और बहुत ही उदास हूं मैं आज ।

छोड़ दू कैसे मै, मेरी शरम- लाज;
जवाब क्या दू, गर पूछे मुझे समाज ?

कौन हो तुम मेरे; क्यु बांधी है मैंने तुमसे यह आश ?

Here is where I always wanted to be.

Lord, Thankful I am to now here for longer be.

Away from noise,  and pollution I cosily here stay.

Read or music listen to I can,  as I in my cosy bed lay .

Home for me was and will always be  Heaven;

CHANGE OUR THINKING, SHOULD WE ?

Man's thinking is really weird, indeed  very strange !

As per his requirements n purpose, It has a long range.

Wonder I, when and how can we bring about a change ?

Yesterday's incident, about the Pups, makes me this think;

We felt awful but helpless, as it happened in a blink.

People screaming,  are they all vegetarians n vegans? Don't even milk drink ?

For eggs if we eat, a hen we hurt. If chicken we eat, it is a murderous act ?

Think of the innocent goat, we not only it **** but eat it ! Isn't this a fact?

Be it fish, chicken, meat, beef, pork, et al, eat we unconcerned, as if part of a pact.

Agreed a mistake it was grave; but awfully weird was the reaction.

Perhaps it happened due to camouflage or the eye's poor refraction.

By our food habits, many murders we daily commit, is this, then a fair action ?

FOR OUR CHILDREN

Let's do something important for our children;

This act should give us immense satisfaction.

Bless us will Nature and Mother Earth;

That into our lives will bring a lot of mirth.

Store let us water from the RO plants;

And it use to clean or water plants.

Similarly a lot of water, collect we can from our A/C

To use it for daily cleaning; please this see.

Water from   washing machines too can be used to flush

Builders near seashores should use Sea water to flush.

Remember we don't want our Earth to be without water like the

SHORT SIGHTED

So short sighted, so very indifferent, why are we ?

Can't we our endangered horrifying future see ?

By destroying forests, what will our future be???

If love you your CHILDREN N GRANDCHILDREN, pl. the truth see.

Suffocate your children will, without this GREEN

You will not be able to keep the air FRESH n CLEAN

कटुता भरे जीवन में मेरे, थोड़ी मिश्री तु घोल

पतझड़ सा है जीवन मेरा, तेरे गीतों से मधुरता घोल

सुर कुछ ऐसे छेड़, की तेरे राग पे जाऊं मैं डोल

जीवन में है चाहत यह, के मिले मुझे, तेरा प्यार अनमोल

WANTS

All we want is a little Sunshine, to make our world bright;

Just in order to relax and unwind, a little Moonlight.

A few clouds on a hot Summer day, to grant us some shade

And some shade of luxuriant trees, to protect ourselves from the scorching heat.

And some rain to this Earth cool, from this same heat n light.

Nature said, "GROW TREES" to have pleasant days n cool nights.

So I grew some trees; and I was gifted all these with oxygen filled air.

A closely knitted  bunch of kids we were;

No outsider could ever, us away from the other stir.

Now distances us  separate; we are far apart.

It's almost half a century you from us did dart;

Then left I our cocoon after marriage; I live far.

But  dearest  brothers, let distance not be a bar;

May it, a rift in our hearts never ever create

Though physically far,  close to each other, let us be, whatever be the state.

Let it never succeed in separating us from each other.

OUR NATURE

A lot depends on our nature, our behaviour.

Good nature, at most times, is indeed our saviour.

If rude and harsh we are, people from us will stay far.

If kind n compassionate, shine out we, like a star.

Smiling faces, flower like are;  attracting (people) bees.

One always in them, sweetness n  goodness sees.

Ill-mannered people on the other hand, are at a distance kept;

Like offensive dirt and dust , off they are swept.

So let us be like sweet smelling, perfumed flowers;

Who  will, genuinely and lovingly be our followers.

Friends who for us will care; and their joys  n sorrows, will share.

Our colleagues , who support us will and added responsibility bear.

सूजे ना शब्द सही, लिखूं मै क्या

सूजे ना सुर कोई, गावू मै क्या ?

पूजा अर्चना के लिए, जागे ना भाव ;

भजन रचु मै कैसे, मांगू तेरा सुझाव।

हे मा शारदा सरस्वती कृप कर मुझपर;

For us, You are indeed too complex, wise n clever.

In the true sense, understand You; how can we ever ?

Your ways weird are, comprehend You, we can never.

A misleading mind we have; that makes us believe we are clever.

Why granted us have You, this  reasoning; logic n ego-fever ?

With this so called intelligence, often relationships with You we sever.

Our patience n faith exhaust; then, You we don't rever.

Can we get angry with You? Do we have that right ?

Will You pamper us like a parent does; after a fight ?

CIRCUMSTANCES

CIRCUMSTANCES, OFTEN CHANGE ONE'S FATE.

LIFE, THAT'S WHY,  IS A TEACHER GREAT;

Circumstances ours, us a lot of lessons teach.

Understand only then we, in difficulties, whom to reach.

Distinguish we can from this change; between iron and gold.

During difficulties, fall off the stones n iron; pressure they can't hold.

Or flow away quietly, stealthily, as  do from a body,  some harmful germs.

Whereas the gold n platinum, it's diamonds n precious stones holds firm.

Few, very few people, in need, actually stand by you, as firm as rocks.

In today's commercial world, sweet-talk, in plenty, does sell;

But circumstances, truth reveal; they, lessons of truth, in a way, tell.

Once we know n differentiate between gold n iron; diamonds n stones;

Carefully sieve them out with care great; about this, making no bones.

IMAGINE

Imagine,if we all grew fruit trees, orchads would be found all around.
Both sides of roads, mountain slopes , forests would have fruits.Man n beast would have at least something to eat.
If we all collected rain water, (rain harvesting) if Governments would build artificial lakes, there would be less shortage, in this beautiful world.
If we just do not waste water or food millions of people would have at least something to eat.
Fashion drives us nuts, only if would give away our old clothes to the poor, their  winters would be less harsh.
I LOVE THE IDEA OF SUCH A WORLD. CAN WE PUT THIS IN TO PRACTICE, IN OUR OWN SMALL WAY ?
LET US MAKE A BEGINING. Instead of flowers or sweets, can we gift a plant please.

यह संसार

"सीने में सुलगते हैं अरमान", गाती हूं यह गीत;
प्यार की हो गई हार, और मतलबी दुनियां की जीत।

चाहा था अपनो का साथ, थोड़ासा प्यार;
पर यहां तो चलता है व्यापार, बड़ा कठोर है यह संसार ।

इस से तो अच्छा था वोह भरम, ठीक था वो फरेब;
भले वोह था एक भ्रम; समझो थी वह हमारी एक  ऐब ।
मतलब का होता है व्यवहार;
मात पिता को छोड़ के, झूठा सारा संसार।

Loved You I should have, as much as I loved him, perhaps,  even much more;

But we humans have attraction more for things physical, so wrong went my ratio, my score.

Physical attraction won over the abstract one; thus, sadly, the crust won over the core.

With him away, now, my mistake realise I; my love should have been skyward,  not at the level of the floor.

અરે ઓ માનવ

સાચેજ, માનવનો ખુદગરજી માં કોઈ મેળ નથી

દુનિયામાં ખુદગર્જી થી વધારે ખતરનાક કોઈ ખેળ નથી

આં ખુદગરજી જ માનવનો સર્વ નાશ નોતરે છે ;

ઝાડો કાપી, એ પોતાની જ બરબાદી કંડોરી, કોત્રે છે.

ધરતી ઉપર, પ્રાણવાયુ આં રીતે કમ ના કર, ઓ મૂર્ખ માનવ;

બની બેઠો છે તું આં ધરતી માટે, એક જીવતો જાગતો દાનવ.

છોડ આં ખુદગરજી તારી,  તાત્કાલિક ઝાડો વાવ.

લચલચતા બગીચા, વન, ઉપવનો વાવી, આં ધરાને બચાવ.

આંધળો થઈ, પંપાળ ના અહમ અને તારી ગરજ;

છે એક ઇન્સાન તરીકે, આં તારી મહત્વપૂર્ણ ફરજ.

यह कहानी है एक प्यारी सी राजकुमारी की, जरा नजर तु डार;

व्यथा भरी, दुखदायक, मिला न उसे वोह राजकुमार ।

" जब से देखा आपको, छीन गया दिलका करार ;

एक ही झलक में, किया आपने इस दिल को बेकरार;

चाहता है दिल, देखूं आपको ही बार बार ;

पर शायद नसीब में मेरे, है नहीं, आपके दीदार ।

किस्मत में जब लिखा होता है एक तरफा प्यार;

तब साथ में लिखा होता है जीवन भर का इंतजार।

काश वो मिले, बस उनकी एक झलक के लिए रहता है यह दिल बेकरार ।

चाहा मिल जाए आप, भले मिले नहीं सारा संसार ।
