You were always so charming , enthusiastic and  cute !
Towards the family n society so much you did contribute.

I said, "I too think there is something terribly wrong.
Earlier I was as happy as a lark; on my lips,there was always a song.
Suddenly life worthless seems, difficult it is to get along.
Danced and laughed I haven't since long.

Weary and tired I feel; many times, helpless too.
Though know I, I must to my ideals stick, like glue.

Let us not take it for granted please.
Environment look after we must.
Upon Earth, pollution, please do not ******.

Why do people callously, others hurt ?
Why are they so rude, crude and curt ?
It is indeed sad, to see people being treated as dirt.

Wish the world, more understanding was.
Wish of hurting beloveds, one was not the cause.
Before hurting someone, shouldn't we pause !

Oh mornings I actually dread
With worries, fills my head.
On my tender heart, every day he treads.

Starts picking up faults, big n small
He says, I am filled with them all.
Continuous bickering, sarcasm I get them all.

Dreamt I, of love n laughter; fun n frolic
But get I,  an emotional  mental Colic.
To bear the brunt, his frustration, I am a living relic

That's the reason, now mornings I dread.
Of them, I am mortally scared.

Beware, horrible n fearful is Nature's ire.
Like, earthquakes, tsunamis, floods n fire.
The consequences of any of these are dire.
An example recent, is the California fire.
To accomplish, several elements, Nature can easily hire.
Lord, mercy have on us n protect us from Nature's ire.
Plead to You I do, I beg of You, my Sire.
Save our Earth, our cosmos from Nature's ire.

In California, very recently, there was havoc; due to a fire ball.
Floods wreck places many n in earthquakes houses fall.
Lord, tell us, how can these calamities we stall ?

Instead of bits n pieces small,  need we, lots of peace.
Instead of storms n  calamities, we need some calm cool breeze.
O Ahura, mercy have on us n grant us peace n love please.

ESTRANGEMENT

Sad to see such a lovely couple, in this state.
See in them we, such a strong dislike, bordering on hate.
May be their wishes n desires they couldn't satiate.

Estranged relationships hurt both the mate(s).
Eye to eye they see cannot; changed has their fate.
I sincerely pray, for their reunion, hoping it's not too late.

Lord, it's all too complicated; why do You such relationships create ?
Why can't there be more understanding, love n faith ?
Why do undesirable souls unite; why do You matters complicate ?

If marriages are made in Heaven, then why this sad state?
Some say, laws of Karma these relationships dictate.
Answers we have none; though some people call it fate.

सोचने लगी मै देख के यह विशाल गगन;
और देख के चन्द्र को, मै तो बस हो गई मगन ।
अंतर कितना है चन्द्र की शीतल चांदनी में, और कहां सूरज की अगन !
क्या देखी है आप ने, समुद्र में समाने कि नदी की लगन?

आदमी कितनी बिजली इस्तमाल करता है, तब ठंडा या गरम होता है एक मकान
कुदरत यह करती है यह मुफ़्त में, वोह भी एक पल भर में, लाके तूफ़ान।
पौधों को पानी पल भर में देती हैं बारिश; जो बड़ी मुश्किल से दे पाता है किसान।
कुदरत की ताकत से रहो वाकिफ बनो न यू अनजान ।

TO HELP OR NOT TO

In our own small way, let us a difference make.
A hungry man's life perhaps, may be at stake.
Bread we can share some, it needn't be a cake.


Scared many times I am to help, because many beggars there are fake.
To get cheated n encourage wrong,  my heart would ache.
Because many lazy ones beg and alms conveniently take.

Help me O Lord, to lessen another's heart ache.
Help let me another, in Your name, for Your sake.
Wisdom grant me to differentiate between a deserving n a fake.

To encourage begging, would be a sin big; we must put on a brake.
Children innocent, they kidnap n maim, to get their share of cake.
Have we a right to jeopardize an innocent child's life; we cannot put it at stake.

Help we can by educating street children n this begging chain break.
Help the starving farmers; to them let us technology take; teaching them to build a lake.
With the young n old, weak n weary share; let us our things for them take.

If we all collected rain water, (rain harvesting) if Governments would build artificial lakes, there would be less shortage, in this beautiful world.
If we just do not waste water or food millions of people would have at least something to eat.
Fashion drives us nuts, only if would give away our old clothes to the poor, their  winters would be less harsh.
I LOVE THE IDEA OF SUCH A WORLD. CAN WE PUT THIS IN TO PRACTICE, IN OUR OWN SMALL WAY ?
LET US MAKE A BEGINING. Instead of flowers or sweets, can we gift a plant please.

પ્રેમ ભર્યા બે શબ્દો સાંભળવા દિલ તરસે છે.
જ્યારે જ્યારે, અમી ને બદલે, વાગ બાણ વરસે છે.
શબ્દો, બાણ કરતાં પણ છે વધુ ઘાતક, ભયાનક.
માનવ તૂટી જાય છે, ક ટુ-વચન સાંભળી, અચાનક.
અપશબ્દો થી દિલ નો, મન નો દીવો બુઝઈ જાય.
જ્યારે, મીઠા બે બોલ સાંભળી, ઘવાયલું હૈયું રૂઝાય.
ફરી પ્રકાશિત થઇ ઉઠે હૃદય, દિલ નો દીવો ઝળહળી ઊઠે.
દયા-માયા ભર્યા આપણા બોલો, પ્રેમ પૂર્વક, ચાદર ગૂંથે.
છે બધું આપણા હાથ માં; કદી ન બોલીએ, કટું વચન
અમી વરસાવી, કરીએ દુઃખી દિલોમાં પ્રેમ નું સિંચન.

खुशियों ही खुशियों से भरा था हमारा दामन ।
घर में और बाहर, चारों ओर फैला था अमन।
अचानक एक बलाका हुआ, ऐसा आगमन;
कि लग गई नज़र बूरी, अब जल रहा है, हमारा चमन।

आलीशान सा घर था, और प्रेम-पुष्पो से, चमन था भरपुर ।
सदस्य रहते थे देश-  परदेश; कोई पास कोई दुर।
पर जुड़े हुए थे सब दिल से, जानता है तु यह सच, मेरे हुज़ूर ।
हर कोई जीता था एक दूजे के लिए, जिंदगी थी खुष्नूर ।

उस बला ने डाली फूट चमनमे; डाली ऐसी चिंगारी, कि लग गई
आग ।
बचानेके, मां ने, मौसी ने, बुआने, सब ने प्रयत्न किए अथाग;
पर फिर भी हो गए मजबूर, बुझा न सका कोई यह आग ।
नज़र बूरी ऐसी डाली; मुरझाई कली कली, राख होने को है मेरा बाग ।

ऐ भगवान, तु तो है वाकिफ, जानता है तु पूरी दास्तान ।

માનસિક ઘા તો , રૂહને તહેસનેહેસ કરી, દુઝાય.

Kis se kahu mei dil ki peed ?
Akeli hu; bhale ** chahu aur  bheed.

Today, is a new bigining a new page.
It's a beautiful book with many a blank page.
Pour in I have to, my thoughts at every stage.
But before I do this, them I must gauge.
Help me to do this well, O my wise sage.

Fill it with colours vibrant n  brilliant on every sheet.
May my paintings, the shadows of darkness, outbeat.
Fill it with songs soulful, soothing n sweet.
Pour in I can, my feelings in ink; pouring every heart-beat.
May I be able to do all this n more, before I retreat.

Grow I wish to, lots  of flowers n green.
Help me, make this world look a little more clean.
O Ahura, can I please be an instrument, to make it serene.
I wish to make things better, then what they have been.

कल की हसीन शाम ढल चुकी
आज मानो रब की गर्दन है झुकी
उसका बनाया मानव रिश्ते नाते गया है भूल
पैसों, हीरो के सामने रिश्ते आज बन गाए धूल
मतलब में, खुदगर्ज़ी में, वो अंधा हो गया,
पैसों की चकाचौंध में मानो वो खो गया ।
उसे अपने पराए लगते है, और पैसेवाले अपने;
परयो के चक्कर में वो अपनोसे बेगाना हो गया ।
रब की गर्दन झुक गई, मेरा बनाया हुआ मानव, बेगाना हो गया ।

I.. Iski jyot se, roshan kare sara samaaj; aur charo aur prem pasare.

W.. Wada kare, neki ki aur pyar ki rah pe chale, hardum.

A.. Aakar de ek aise jahan ko, jaha pyar hi pyar **, shraddha aur swabhimaan **.

L.. Lau sada jalti rahe har dil mein, shraddha, sacchai aur prem ki.

रिश्ते

रिश्ते हसाते भी  है और रुलाते भी है बार बार
पर अब तो रिश्ते ही बदलने लगे हैं लगातार।
पैसे हो तो मनुष्य बन जाता है गले का हार; देख लिया, चारों ओर है व्यापार।
ऐ मालिक, देखना, इन रिश्तों पे से, उठ न जाए, इस जिवका ऐतबार।

इनसान की हैसियत देखके रिश्ते बदलते हैं अपना रंग
पैसा और पावर हो तो चलते हैं सब उस इंसान के संग संग।
पैसा कम होते ही, रिश्तेदार बदलने लगते हैं अपना रंग;
अपने हो जाते है पराए, यह देखते हो गई मै दंग।

अपने कौन और कौन पराये, यह वक्त बता जाता है पलमे हमें ।
दिल में तो क्या, घर में भी नहीं आने देते हैं अब हजूर तुम्हे।
यह रंग बदलती दुनिया के, रंग समझ न आए हमें।
जब अपनों ने ही किया पराया, तो अब हम क्या कहे  तुम्हें ?

I do hope, it will soon decrease .
Or will it last, upto the moment I cease.

Oh Lord, I desperately need peace.
Go crazy I will if problems increase.
It's upto you, to soon grant me peace.

Burns my heart, even in soothing cool breeze.
Meditation may perhaps bring in some peace.
Teach me You will have to soon, how to do this.

कली कली जल रही है, उजड़ रहा है मेरा बाग
पेड़ की डाल पे न कोयल गाए, न बोले काग
दिल में मेरे जल रही है उदासी की आग।

चुनरिया फीकी, उसपे लगे हैं बिरह के दाग़
तुम न आए, आए गए कितने भी फाग
सुना नहीं तूने, बिरहा भरा, मेरा दर्दभरा राग ।

आजा पिया सुना दे वोह मीठा मीठा राग
जिसे सुन के झूमे जिया; और खिल उठे मनका बाग
अब तो आजा, बुझा दे, यह तन्हाई, यह उदासी की आग ।

किसे सुनाऊं मैं, दिल की दुखभरी दास्तान
संग मेरे रोता भी नहीं अब तो यह आसमान
बस जिया रोता है, और पीड़ित है जान
अकेली रोती हूं, किसे सुनाऊं अपना हाल; हूं मै बेजुबान
दर्द से जलता है जिया, पर  जाती नहीं है जान ।
दुर दुर तक रोशनी नज़र न आए, चांद बिना का है आसमान।
जाऊ तो जाउ कहां मै, कठोर है सारा जहान
