MERRY CHRISTMAS

It was a cold windy day and Fariz was walking home in quick footsteps. He was already late and his darling Mom would be anxiously awaiting his arrival.
It was really cold and Fariz had put his hands in his pocket to save them from getting cold. As he walked, he remembered how his Mom gave him Xmas gifts (from Santa of course,) every year. It was a wonderful feeling. Just as he was thinking he heard the squeaking of a puppy. "O the poor little thing must be cold I guess".
He looked around; if a shop was still open, he could perhaps get some milk, but everything was closed. It was Xmas eve. The puppy was still crying. His feet automatically drew towards that little helpless creature. His heart cried at what he saw.
The little pup was trying to awaken his mother, who was stiff dead. His heart broke and tears rolled down his eyes. On an impulse, he picked that little pup and cuddled it. He put it close to his heart, under his jacket. Fariz was about to leave, when he heard another cry. Lo behold !  Oh my God , there is another one too. He picked it up too and warmed both of them as he briskly walked towards home.
He was now close to his house, just a few blocks away. As he was crossing one home, he heard two little voices, talking to Santa. One of them said, " oh Santa, I can't put a stocking up for my wish; for I wish to have a puppy". His sister said, "I can and I will put up mine because I want a cute teddy."
Listening to them, Fariz immediately put one puppy down at their entrance, rang the bell and ran away saying, " ** ** **." When the little sibblings opened the door, their joy was indescribable. They screamed and danced around the little creature with joy. Their mother came out to see what was happening and was extremely surprised to see a cute live puppy. She picked it up and brought it in. The children were over joyed to have a real puppy.
Fariz watched all this and quietly went home.
His Mom was eagerly waiting for him. He walked in, took the little puppy out of his jacket and said, " Mom, This is Santa's gift for you". I remember you giving me one for years, now it's my turn.
They both quickly gave the cute little pup some warm milk and got busy, making him a bed. Fariz asked, "Mom what will we name him?" Mom said, "Rex, because my Mom had a dog, called Rex, whom she dearly loved".
Oh wow, it's gonna be a great Xmas ! as they cuddled little Rex, and said, "shhhh... Wait till Dad gets up to see him".

A little madness

Sometimes it's good to be a little mad.
Sing a song or dance when you are sad.
But remember, never to be angry; that's really bad.

I seeds collect, scatter and sow;
Sometimes, them I just fling or throw;
With a hope, they will perhaps grow.

Silly it may look, but I show love, to a pup;
Offering him a little milk, in an old cup.
Or some warm soup, that he can gulp.

Give an old blanket to an old shivering man.
I pack my leftovers and distribute, if I can.
You can do more; Madness does not have a ban.

A GRAND TREE

A tree to grow big, tall n grand, needs an ideal condition.
Appropriate soil, climate,water n seeds complete our mission.
Need we, a farmer good n well experienced with a vision.

When tended lovingly, with fingers green;
When nurtured in conditions ideal n clean;
With climatic conditions appropriate n serene
Grow into a huge luxuriant tree will, this tiny bean.

A mother, that good and fertile soil is.
A father,  that strong, healthy n good seed is.
Clean water n climate, our family n religion is.

So before a marriage, we must, about these details inquire.
To nurture a child healthy, physically, mentally n emotionally all the above are required;
Just like growing a luxuriant tree; good soil and healthy seeds have to be acquired.

दर्द कहां किसीको भाते हैं !
फिर भी वो जीवनमे आते हैं ।

कुछ दर्द बड़े कीमती और न्यारे है
कुछ दर्द जिगर के करीब और प्यारे है।

सोचा था अमन चमन और प्यार में जीवन बसर करेंगे;
सोचा न था, तुझ पर दिल लूटा के तुझ पर यूह मरेंगे ।

मिला न तु, तो दर्द तेरा अपना लिया मैंने;
जीवन भर याद रहे, ऐसी सौगात दे दी तुने ।

प्यार छुपता नहीं, छुपानेसे, यह तो था पता;

સાચી દોસ્તી નથી જોતી કંઈ ફર્ક
એ તો નિહરે અંદર નો અરક.

કૃષ્ણ સુદામા માં હતો તફાવત, એક રાજા બીજો રંક.
દોસ્તી રાખતી નથી હિસાબ, નફા નુકસાન ના કોઈ અંક.

એ તો છે એક ઝરણું નિર્મળ
સંસાર ના સુખ દુઃખ ના અડતા નથી એને વમળ.

મારા દોસ્તો ને રાખજે સદા સુખી.
જોજે ખુદા, થાય ના એ કદી બી દુઃખી.

See we today, everyone with their smartphones, in chairs, all curled.
Sick we are all, with mobile-o-mania, all over the world.

This Christmas, let's this illness overcome, let's visit our ones dear.
A personal touch, a hug warm, n a kiss compassionate, will bring us near.

This Christmas, let's go out and an elderly help; let us be a little more kind.
Or become Santa to a little one, bringing laughter n  joy; which he daily doesn't find.

This Christmas, let's warm bodies and hearts of people around us; with our care.

MOVE

This Christmas, let us move from me to us

Move to protect our environment, by not cutting Christmas trees.

Move to feeding Turkeys not eating them away.

Move to buy little gifts for the poor street children, when we buy for the family.

Move to get back our old parents home from infirmaries or old age homes.

Move to rebuild relationships with old friends and relatives whom we have ignored.

Move to plant at least ten trees to save ourselves n our children. To increase oxygen levels.

Move to save sweet water by reusing it in many ways. E.G. From washing machines to flush tanks.

Move to make things better, brighter and our Earth a better place.

TEACH YOUR CHILDREN, NOT TO....

Thinks one does not, of all different aspects;
All one wishes is that his dear ones give him love n respect.

Ahura,tell me, what does a man with self respect, expect ;
Only that people should him, love n respect.

Expectations many, one must have not, I agree
But sad I feel, when third grade treatment, given is, then I disagree.

Why have money n power overtaken this world ?
Why are poor n unimportant people, hassled n hurled ?

Ashamed people are, of their relatives poor, commercially useless n old.
Them they often neglect, snub, even ill-treatment or scold.

A cute little walkie-talkie doll,
Fair, plump,lovely long hair et all;
A pout she would put often on,
When angry with anyone or Shaun.

Today our princess has met her prince ;
Has suddenly grown up ever since.
Like our Shez, she too will soon leave us.
Leaving in our heart n life,  a void thus.

Tomorrow is her Roka, soon thereafter her engagement.
Girls grow so very fast ; leaving their dear ones after a little merriment.
"Time and tide wait for no one ", is a saying true.
That's why these two cute sisters, very fast grew.
Wishing you both, all the v best in life,, always.

Misunderstandings  are very much a part of life.
