Why does man **** man? What do you have to say ?

Ask me not, it is he, who from God moves away.

His ego, pride, or misinformation perhaps can someone flay.

Only if his heart he would use instead of his head

Things much better would be; at least not so bad.

પૈસા

પૈસા ના છે બધે જ, ચારેકોર છે બોલ બાળા

આજના યુગમાં છે બધાંને પૈસા જ વહલા

પૈસાવાળો હોય તું, તો આપોઆપ, બધાં તારા ;

નહિ તો ભઈલા, કોણ તારા ને કોણ મારા !

પૈસા પાછળ માનવ કુતરા ની માફક ચાટતો આવે

જ્યાં પૈસો દેખાય ત્યાં જ એને ગમે અને ફાવે .

સઘળાં એવું માને કે, લક્ષ્મી, લક્ષ્મી ને ખેંચી પૈસો લા વે.

ગરીબ આપ્તજનથી એ અકળાય. હવે એને, એ ન ભાવે.

એવા આપ્તજન પૂરી ન કરી શકે, એની મોટી મોટી આશ.

જેમ પૈસો આવે, તેમ તેમ વધે પૈસા માટે પ્યાસ.

પૈસા પચાવી શકે કોઈક જ વિરલા, જે હોય ખાસ;

કારણ, પૈસો આપે અહમ અને ગર્વ; નોતરે એ સર્વનાશ.

સાવધાન રહેવું જોઇએ અતિશય પૈસા ના લોભ થી.

પંખીડા મારા માળો છોડી, સિધર્યા પોતાને ઘર;

સુનું સુનું લાગે છે પાછું આજે, મારું આં ઘર;

ઉડી ગયા પંખીડા, રહી ગયાં, હું ને મારો વર.

ચેહલ પહેલ હતી, ચેહકતું હતું મારું આંગણ અને ઘર,

કિલોલ હતો, મૌજ હતી, સુનાપણ થી લાગે છે થોડો ડર.

મોટા થઈ, પંખીડા તો કરવાનાં જ લાંબી સફર;

પછી શા માટે ફરે છે તું  ઉદાસ; ઊઠ્ઠ, તારું કામ કર.

મોટા થઈ પંખીડા ઉડી જાય; છે એ તો કુદરત નો કાયદો અફર.

BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE....

An appeal to all seers, please act before it's too late,

We have almost already reached a deadly state

Let us try to once again, for the better, change our fate.

Harm great and unrepairable caused we have, to Mother Nature

By trying to to prove our importance n increase our stature.

Let's once again grow trees, n try to Her, lovingly n carefully nurture.

Let's start, with each human planting at least a few trees,

Soon there will be shade; n flowers and fruits will increase

Once again blow in will cold breeze, n this scorching heat will decrease.

Water levels improve will; n flora fauna flourish will.

If authorities, industrialists, soldiers, the rich pitch in willingly will.

Nature is kind benevolent, all giving and very fair.

Understanding, volunteering will help us to our mistake repair.

Once again She will Her kindness show, rich dividends we will bear.

CAREFUL BE

Money and power bring in pride, which most people digest cannot
Then, in their own, self-made web, they do get miserably caught.

The moment, get you such a feeling, immediately, it dread.
For if untreated, die you, before you are actually dead.

Know we all, that pride has a fall, at many times, serious it is.
Careful be, if arrogant you feel, immediately pause, please.

Let us, our children teach, to take failure and success in their stride.
If you control do not the horse, n tighten it reigns, it won't let you ride.

A stitch in time, saves nine, so realise n your arrogance control.
Pray for help, realise that it is, unto you, Ahura's dole.

એક છે મારો નાનો નટખટ બદમાશ બકરો.

જરા બી પહેરવા ગમે નહીં એને ડ્રેસ જે હોય કક્રો.

ને ગૂંચવાઈ જાય જો બાદ કરવો પડે એકડો

બદમાશ બકરા ને ગમે ખાવા માચ્છી પણ ખાય નહિ કદી કેકડો

ગમે નહીં એને જોવા બી ગળોડી, વાંદા કે દેડકો.

મમ્મી, ડેડી, મા, દે અને ફ્રેયું ની એ બહુ લાડકી

ખાય પેટ ભરીને મીઠાસ અને થોડી ખીરા કાકડી.

ગમે એને હરવા ફરવા, અને પેહરવા ઓઢવા; લાગે એ ફાંકડી.

ઠંડો ઠંડો, મંદ મંદ વેહતો હતો પવન;

મેહકતા પુષ્પો થી ભરેલું હતું ચમન

મસ્ત લેહરો ઉછાળતો, નીલો ગેહરો હતો એ સાગર

બનાવતાં હતાં મારું તન મન તાજુ અને ઉજાગર.

કુદરત નું સાનિધ્ય છે અતિ સુંદર અને અદભુત;

સાંજ ઢળતાં, ચંદ્ર ઉગિયો સોળે શણગાર સજી પ્રસર્યું અમૃત.

વાદળો સંગ લુપાછુપી રમતો ચંદ્ર, વરસાવતો હતો રૂપેરી દૂધ.

ખુદા ની આં કુદરત જોતા, સાચેજ થઈ ગઈ હું દિગ્મૂઢ.

THE BEE N BUNNY

There was this Bindas bunny,

Who was actually quite funny.

He with his bee friend, made honey;

Decided they to sell it n make some money.

Together with BEELICIOUS bee,

Who was really teenie ****** n wee;

They went to an office  see.

See how they could sell it to you n me.

Found they a beautiful lush green spot;

And opened they, their office on the dot.

BEELICIOUS bee, more n more honey brought.

Taught him Bindas Bunny, how to account n jot.

Came evening, n had they lots of money;

Because sold they had, all their honey.

Now BEELICIOUS bee stung Bindas Bunny;

And ran away with all the collected money.

Oh said Bindas Bunny, "this is definitely not funny".

यह ख्वाहिशें

एक बिरहन पुकारे......

क्या करू, जाती नहीं दिल से, यह ख्वाहिशें मेरी;

कुछ भी करू, जाती नहीं दूर दिल से, यह यादे तेरी

दिमाग कहता है, हटा दें इन्हे तु, दिल से कर दे दूर;

दिल कहता है, संजो के रख तु इन्हे; कर रहा है मुझे मजबूर

क्या करू, इस कश्मकश में उलझा है दिल, जले मोरा जिया ।

क्या करू समझ न आए, मुझसे रूठ गए हैं मेरे पीया ।

काश मिले उनकी एक झलक, यह ख्वाइश लिए बैठे हैं

आे बिछड़े प्रीतम, तोरी आश लगाए कबसे बैठे हैं

बारिश तन भिजाए; पर दिल में आग लगाए ख्वाइश सजन की

कोयलिया की मीठी कुक भी,  ख्वाइश जगाए मधुर मिलन की।

सावन आया तुम न आए, पिया, कब तक राह निहरू तोरी ।

क्या पूरी होगी कभी, यह दिलो जान की ख्वाइश मोरी ?

DISCARDED

Sadly,  we so very selfish are; know this you, it's  not new.

By man,  if not needed,  God would be discarded too.

We worship Him,  more so, because we need him.

That's why, of my poem; today,  this is the theme.

Think and let me know,  if He granted us everything,

what would be our tendency, in His praise how many would sing?

Our very own example let us first take;

Introspect, think n truthfully a decision make.

Truthfully, from  the bottom of your heart, decide, dear ladies and gents.

Why do we, our children love more than we love our parents?

Our parents so much have done for us, so  selflessly.

Worked for our wellbeing they have endlessly.

Yet when we have to choose between both; opt we, for our children. Why?

Sadly it's almost always our children,  say this I with a sigh!

Delve deep down; into your heart; not just at the crust.

Like it or not, accept this bitter fact we must.

Similarly,  think deeply; if you had everything you desired;

Would you love God as much, or of  prayers you would be tired?

Your answer need not be to anyone, revealed;

In your own heart, you  can keep it sealed.

ALL I WISH.....

All I wish to say is eat,  enjoy as much as you wish but first taste;

On your plate take as much as you wish; but do not waste.

Think deeply about the consequences, of  the many hungry mouths, before you waste.

When millions go hungry, It's a sin to fill your plate in a haste;

Eat, enjoy, refill if required but let food not waste.

Same applies to water; upto the brim,  do not fill the glass.

You may be ***** rich n think, stylish you are , with a class;

But remember your grandchildren may have to pay a fortune for just a glass.

Carry your bottle till you finish; or water the plants with that half glass.

And most importantly, help me spread my message to the mass(es).

Things often difficult get, and with anguish, we are filled.
Sometimes these beans of anguish, upon You are spilled.

Our own, at times, forsake us may, but You be with us, night n day.

Expect we, too much from You, yet do little in return;
But Hero, our weakness forgive, n help us to, the right things learn.

Lord, There is too much of violence n havoc in our world;

Why are You sitting n watching this quietly, all curled ?

Please help this miserable, suffering world.

All around, everywhere, people affected, cry and wail;

May peace, tranquility and lots of joy on this Earth prevail.

Entreat I, let ships of peace, prosperity and happiness sail.

Bless us with thoughts, words and deeds good.

So that improve our"karma" immensely would.

And eventually, the results of this show would.

Nature grants us many gifts, peace, abundance n joy.

But  men, for their convinience, greenery destroy.

To clear luxurious forests, many men they employ.

To preserve the rights of animals n birds is a must.

By protectig them, we must gain their trust.

With them, live in peace n harmony we must.

It's their world, as much as it's ours; don't this forget.

Be they from the wild, or oceans; or be it a house-pet.

Give them their due rights, without getting upset.

Live in harmony with Nature if we, with fauna n flora;

Suffer we may not with malaria, typhoid or cholera.

यह कहानी है एक प्यारी सी राजकुमारी की, जरा नजर तु डार;

व्यथा भरी, दुखदायक, मिला न उसे वोह राजकुमार ।

" जब से देखा आपको, छीन गया दिलका करार ;

एक ही झलक में, किया आपने इस दिल को बेकरार;

चाहता है दिल, देखूं आपको ही बार बार ;

पर शायद नसीब में मेरे, है नहीं, आपके दीदार ।

किस्मत में जब लिखा होता है एक तरफा प्यार;

तब साथ में लिखा होता है जीवन भर का इंतजार।

काश वो मिले, बस उनकी एक झलक के लिए रहता है यह दिल बेकरार ।

चाहा मिल जाए आप, भले मिले नहीं सारा संसार ।

पर एक तरफा था यह बिचारा नाकामयाब प्यार;

आपको जीवन भर भुल न पाना! शायद इसी को कहते है प्यार ।

Came into my life you stealthily, quietly;

Captured me and my very existence silently.

I perhaps wasn't up to your standard; why did you then trespass ?

and may I know, with whose permission, did you walk pass ?

Now closed have the doors and I cannot let you out.

Yet, it's I, who is restless n suffers, who struggles like a trout.

Often with this struggle, tears pour down from my eyes.

OUR NATURE

A lot depends on our nature, our behaviour.

Good nature, at most times, is indeed our saviour.

If rude and harsh we are, people from us will stay far.

If kind n compassionate, shine out we, like a star.

Smiling faces, flower like are;  attracting (people) bees.

One always in them, sweetness n  goodness sees.

Ill-mannered people on the other hand, are at a distance kept;

Like offensive dirt and dust , off they are swept.

So let us be like sweet smelling, perfumed flowers;

Who  will, genuinely and lovingly be our followers.

Friends who for us will care; and their joys  n sorrows, will share.

Our colleagues , who support us will and added responsibility bear.

એક વખત, જ્યાં છલકાતો હતો શબ્દોનો મહા સાગર;

ત્યાં સુકાઈ રહી છે સરિતા, જાણે ખાલી લાગે છે, આજ ગાગર.

આમ કેમ થઈ ગયું, વિચારે છે બિચારી મધુમિતા !

અચાનક, ન જાણે કેમ, શબ્દોની સુકાઈ ચાલી છે સરિતા;

ન જાણે કેમ, પણ લાગે છે, લાગી ગઈ છે કોઈક ની નજર

આમ, અચાનક કેમ ઘટી રહી છે કવિતા ની મીઠી અસર !

જડતા નથી શબ્દ મને, જે હૃદય ઢાળવા માંગે છે;

ચિત્રકાર ની પીંછી, આજે બેરંગ આમ કેમ લાગે છે ?

શબ્દો ની માનવ હૃદય પર પડતી હોય છે, ગહેરી, ઊંડી અસર.

અરે વાંચક શબ્દ તો છે બેશુમાર, શબ્દોની ક્યાં છે કોઈ કસર ;

પણ માં શારદા સરસ્વતી, આજે કેમ શબ્દો મને સુજતા નથી;

એકાએક ધીમી પડી ગઈ છે મારી અનમોલ કલમની ગતી.

લાગે છે મને આજે કાવ્યમાં આં, કાઈક કમી , જાણે છે એ નીરસ;

જે સાચે જ લાગવું જોઇએ મજેદાર અને સરસ.

આવો માં, પધારો તમે, પકડી હાથ મારો, લખાવોં ને ;

કાગળ કલમ પ્રસાદી જે તમારી, મારા મન ના દ્વાર, ખોલો ને!

SET A NEW TREND

Fashion trends many set, but care I don't, to wear torn jeans.
It is sowing virtue in myself; one at a time, just a bean.
Setting such  habits n trends, to improve myself, is what I mean.

Work hard, thoughtfully,   I will; but not in a mad haste.
Electricity n water use I definitely will;  but  never , it waste
Before I fill my plate with food; it I will first taste.

Towards people, specially children n elders, I will be kind
Instead of dividing people, them I will bind.
Telling them not to blindly follow trends; they must use their mind.

To be caring n kind, I will set a trend.
To help the old and the feeble at the. Road's bend.
To help a student poor, with her studies; n to school her send.

Oh the list actually long and eñdless is.
It will add up n always in number increase.
forgot I to mention, that I will certainly grow trees.

Like I would, to educate my maid's child, like a teacher- parent.
A trend setter I am, but of course, a little different;
Setting new trends socially, in my own small way, I meant.

મુજ અંતર મન માં, પ્રેમ ની ઝળહળતી જ્યોત જગાડ જે.

પ્રેમ દીપક સદા ઝળહળે, એવી જ્યોત પ્રગટાવ જે.

તન મન હ્રદય માં મારા, શુદ્ધ લાગણીઓ પ્રગટાવ જે.

હર જીવનું ભલું થાઓ, એવાં કર્મ મુજ હાથે કરાવજે.

અસીમ પ્રેમ ની ધારા મુજ હૃદય થી વેહતી લેહરવજે.

પ્રેમ જ્યોત ફિકી પડે ન કદી, એવી અખંડ જ્યોતિ ચહું કોર પથ્રાવ જે

જ્યારે જ્યારે પડે જરૂર તારી, દૌડતો દોડતો તુરંત આવજે.

દાતાર, ખાલી છે ઝોળી મારી, તું એ અસીમ પ્રેમથી ભરજે.

હાથ પકડી લખાવજે; એટલી મેહરબાની મુજપર કરજે.

વિચારો સુંદર અને સુશીલ આવે એવી કૃપા કરજે.

મુજ હૃદય માં, પ્રેમ, સદભાવના, કરુણા જગાડજે.

શબ્દો નહિ જડે તો, તું જ અતિ સુંદર કાવ્ય સુજાડજે.

જગ જ્યારે જ્યારે વાંચે; એમનાંમાં સારું પરિવર્તન લાવજે.

જગમાં ભલાઈ વધે ને બુરાઈ ઘટે, એવું મુજ હાથે લખાવજે.

તારી અસીમ કૃપા આં ધરતી પર ઉતરે, આશિષ એવા આપજે

જે તું ચાહે, એ હું લખું, મારી કલમમાં ઉત્સાહ એવો જગાડ જે.

Love you I most dearly, my flowers wild.

She was extremely good n well behaved as a child.

Every thing was properly placed n filed.

Just the opposite these two are; my flowers wild.

Everything is messy; books never piled.

માં, ખોળે તારે માથું મૂકી, મળે અનોખી શાંતિ અને સુખ.

દુનિયા ની ઝંઝટો થી થાઉં દુર; ભાગે દૂર બધું મારું દુઃખ.

ચિંતાઓ હળવી થઈ, આપોઆપ માનો હવામાં ઉડી જાય

થાકેલા વ્યથિત તન મન ને, અજબ કરાર થાય.

માં તારા ખોળા માં છે એક અનોખું જાદુ

સાઝું થઈ જાય, હોય જો કોઈ કદાચ માદુ.

હવે એ મીઠો ખોળો મને ક્યારેય મળશે નહીં ;

કારણ તું દૂર જઈ વસી છે; જ્યાં વસી હોય ત્યાં થી સહી;

તમારા બર્થડે પર, તમે જ્યાં હોવ ત્યાં, મારી શુભેચ્છાઓ પાઠવું છું.

शाम सुहानी ढल रही है; हवा ठंडी चल रही है ।

बस चंद्रमा खिल रहा है, बादलों से आंखमिचौली खेल रहा है ।

पर अमावस मेरी बड़ी लम्बी है, दर्द जुदाई का, लंबा सहा है ।

આશિષ

સર્વ નું થાય ભલું આં હાથે, એવા આશિષ આપજે તું.

નુકસાન કોઈનું થાય નહિ આં હાથે, એવા આશિષ આપજે તું.

કોઈ જરૂરતમંદ ને થોડી મદદ થાય આં હાથે, એવા આશિષ આપજે તું.

તારી બનાવેલી નૈસર્ગિક આં દુનિયાં ને સવારું, એવા આશિષ આપજે તું.

ફૂલ, ફળ, અનાજ ભરપુર ઊગે આં ધરા ઉપર, એવા આશિષ આપજે તું.

વન-વનરાઈ, નદી-નાળા સદા ખળ ખળ વહે, એવા આશિષ આપજે તું.

પ્રાણી, પંખેરું, માનવ બધાં છે તારે આધારે, એમને આશિષ આપજે તું.

હર એક નું, સર્વ નું સદા મંગળ થાય એવા આશિષ આપજે તું.

When did I last laughed heartily ?
I don't really remember, he thought to himself.

It's been a while, "I must make an attempt to do so".

So out he went, to find a reason to laugh at.

Searched he ardently, but he felt sad n  like crying;

Saw he trouble, poverty, helplessness, all around.

Came back he, thinking, what is the purpose of life ?

But even after contemplation, found he, no answer.

Now bothered he wasn't to laugh; he wanted to, this reason seek.

So again he went; saw he pain n suffering again .

Said he, "God, I know you won't share Your secrets;  but please keep me sane".

A PRAYER OF MOST PARENTS

O Kind Lord, have pity on us, we know YOU are very kind.

Proper words to my feelings express, I cannot find.

Let me, for my children, a burden be not.

Grant me mobility, and a nature good; not a temper hot.

The strength to understanding n adjustable be.

A sense n ability to another's view point see.

May my Children n Grandchildren always love me.

Lord, When the end is near, stand besides me.

तकदीर

भाग ले तु चाहे जितना, तकदीर और कर्म से तु भाग न पाएगा

ताकत और अक्ल लगाले चाहे जितनी, बच न तु पाएगा

सेहना है जो तकदीर में, उससे तु  कभी अपने आप को बचा न पाएगा ।

लोग करते हैं पाप और चतुराई, जर, जोरू और ज़मीन के लिए;

अपनो को देते हैं धोका, थोड़ी सी ताकत या दौलत के लिए

भले वोह अपनी मस्ती में जिए, पर कर्म तैयारी रखता है, उनको उलझाने के लिए ।

तेरी सोच संवार तु, बोली और कर्म संवार तु, अच्छाई का रास्ता अपना तु

शब्द शीतल जल जैसे होने चाहिए, अग्नि बाण का प्रयोग करना नहीं तु ।

कर्म भलाई के कर; कमसे कम ऐसे, हानि किसी को पहुंचाना नहीं तु ।

जो लिखा है तुने अपने कर्मो से, अपने ही हाथों से; उसे तु न मिटा पाएगा

अपने हाथों लिखी हुई तकदीर से उलझना नहीं, उसे तु बदल न पाएगा

बस कर्म सुधार; और भगवान के हाथो में, सौंप दे तेरी डोलती हुई नैया ।

BEAST OF BURDEN

Like a poor donkey he works and slogs all his life;

Undergoes he constantly, throughout life, a lot of strife.

Struggling as a student, towards some career he works.

Many pleasures, hobbies, passions n even sleep, he shirks.
Indulging deeply into physics, chemistry n mathematical sums.

Then to make ends meet, again a burden bearing donkey he becomes.

Saves he every penny, to a scooter, or a car buy, or a house make.

Though once in a year, to count the years; cuts he a birthday cake.

Through life, tax, tax and more tax he pays on his miniscule income;

Direct taxes, indirect taxes, his pockets empty; no money left, to buy ***.

An honest ordinary human, keeps searching to success, a key.

But ends up being a beast of burden; a slogging exhausted donkey.

ELDERLY

Taken aback I was, looking at the ugly old person in front of me.

An ugly wrinkled face, fluffy eyes, a fat human, I could see.

Gone where was that pretty, attractive face, ever smiling ?

Lines of pain I saw, in there, along with the creases; she wasn't smiling.

Clothing to wear was now a task;
For little things, she had to ask.

Forget running, now difficult it was to walk; it seemed a Herculean task.

Worried about the future, elders are; because difficult become, easy deeds.

Rely they on others for almost everything; even awaiting their feeds.

Lord Kind Help the elderly.

एक बार

आज चंद्रमा बादलों से झांक रहा था खिल के सोलह शृंगार;

देखती रही उसकी खूबसूरती मै, बार बार लगातार ।

देखकर उसे, आपकी याद आ गई मुझे; दिल धड़कने लगा, बजने लगी सितार;

काश आप भी आ जाते; पुकार रहा है आप को मेरा प्यार ।

हर माह जगाता है चंद्रमा एक नई आश, दिल हो जाता है बेकरार;

ऐसी भी क्या उम्मीद, की होंगे जरूर दर्शन आपके मौत से पहले एक बार

आई और गई कितनी पूर्णिमाएं पर अमावस अब तक गई नहीं एक भी बार;

जो भी हो, पर अब तक, मानी नहीं है मैंने भी हार ।

आपको शायद तरस आ जाए हम पर भी, कभी कभार ।

A shadow dark is; but fair you are.

Of my poor heart, the most painful scar.

Thought I, you were my superstar

But alas! sadly it was a falling star.

My Hero you were n always remain will;

But my love worthlessly on you, I did spill.

Your absence for me, is a bitter pill;

Which swallow I can't, nor spit it at will.

You are the shadow that even troubles me in dark.

There has never been a time, happy is the owl or lark.

Follows me your shadow wherever I go, office, home or park.

The more I try to break away, it follows like a shark.

Unfortunately live one cannot with a shadow.

One needs open  space, be it a park or meadow.

unfortunately, you are an inseparable shadow.

The one who refuses to go, always wants to, me follow.

Lord Kind, bear we cannot this awful summer heat;

This heat, even with fans, ACs we just can't beat.

Please have the Sun to make a slight retreat;

Grant us some shade n request the Sun to take a back seat.

I know, it's our own doing; in increasing the heat.

Chop off trees thoughtlessly we; n this act repeat.

In the name of progress n urbanisation, we proudly do it.

Grant us wisdom to grow trees, it will be a big feat.

Protect may we our forests n trees with fervour n grit.

My prayers n plea O Ahura are in Thy hands; grant victory or defeat.

GO GREEN.

Let us an example set, n to the world show.

Let us at every vacant corner, green grow.

Small places n spots, support can some oxygen releasing trees.

Which from pollution and CO2, this beautiful Earth frees.

Water them let us, with water wasted fron RO n AC plants.

Choose carefully let us, the 24 hour oxygen releasing plants;

Used cans, empty  bottles, boxes, pots reused should be.

This poem is not just a verse; from me, it's an ardent plea.

GO GREEN PLEEEEEEASE.

My Lil Miss Masseuse.

Thaaaaank you Zoish.

Hot and uncomfortable I was, so my lil masseuse gave me an ice massage.

Hot and humid it was, so she comforted me with an ice pack large.

Lil Ms Masseuse, my feet into cold water, tenderly dipped;

And cool water applied all over my body; also some I sipped.

Suddenly the sweltering heat reduced n things were not too bad.

In all my life, this was undoubtedly the best massage I ever had.

With her love and tenderness, the strokes so caressing were;

For this, with great pride, award I the Nobel prize in Massaging, to her.

CHILDHOOD

Wonderful were those days of childhood.

Do so many wonderful things we could.

Visiting grandparents, enjoy tremendously we would.

Have a childhood like ours, everyone perhaps should !!

Right from the very day school closed, visit them we would.

Pampered n spoiled we were with love, cuddling n great food.

Picnics there were plenty; to beaches, river banks go we would.

Picnic lunches were awesome dry, often fried or baked food.

Hiking, hitchhiking, cycling, n even in trucks, travel we would.

Unfortunately today's kids, an opportunity get do not, which was so very good.

Wish their Aunts, Uncles, cousins know closely they would.

Joint families afford these luxuries, easily could.

Wish those wonderful days of childhood, come back would.

OH THIS HEAT

Wish there were very many cool, clean swimming pools;

Where spend we could, vacations away from cuties n schools.

Like buffaloes, dip and sit we would; and ourselves cool.

Sitting there, **** a gola we could; at this thought, my mouth does drool.

Nature I do not blame, it's our own doing; this terrifying heat !!!

If careful we can be; further destruction avoid; it we can beat.

Greens, trees if we increase and pollution try to control;

If water we preserve, use of plastics, fumes, heat we reduce.

Dividends rich, truly valuable, we can hope to deduce.

On your principles n ethics, try I will always, to abide.
Miss you, I do tremendously n crave to meet you.
If hear me you can, you too fervently try to, so do.

Cherish I, those wonderful moments, that together, spent we.
Cross words, scrabble, embroidery, knitting, whatever it be ;
Your encouraging me to write ; it's result, today I see.
How lonely today would I be ; if persuade you wouldn't me.

Love you, I will always n hope to in Heaven, you soon meet.
If possible, next to you, request Ahura, to spare a seat.
Await eagerly I do, to snuggle in your loving arms, once more.
So,  when it's my time to come, help me through that door.

THIS PLACE

Our world would be a much better place

If we helped each other, to tie our shoe - lace.

These days everyone wants for themselves pace;

But actually, living together should be our base.

Someone falls, has a problem or is troubled in case;

Help him, we should, to once again, the world face.

Unfortunately today people have become selfish, mean n base.

Lets overcome this attitude, making this, a better place.
