Human nature it is, to malign others or them back bite.

Juicy it feels to do so, when the person is out of sight.

Face to face, it may be difficult, with him to fight.

If we can't praise, it's best to keep our mouth shut tight.

Stop back biting and many things will automatically set right.

SANJAN DAY

Misery, humiliation, insults, torture n inhuman behavior, they had to bear.

When they could no longer protect the holy fire; and for it no longer care;

thought they, leave they must, their dearest Motherland, wealth n cattle there.

For living there, undergoing torture was beyond tolerance; poisonous was the air.

Weary, miserable and dead-tired; on the shores of Gujarat, they finally did land.

From Diu-Saurashtra sailed they to Sanjan Bunder, requesting for a helping hand.

To persuade the ruler for shelter; stood they under the scorching hot Sun on sand.

Finally asylum granted was, after many conditions, their weapons they had to disband.

Accepted they were by Bharat (India); and finally settled down at Sanjan

Starting anew, our ancestors rebuilt Iran-shah, away from the Arab “hevaan(s)”

with honesty, integrity, hard-work, reestablished they, their “aan-baan-shaan”

now our pious duty it is, to continue their work with dedication and “imaan”.

નસીબ

નાનકડું પાંદડું ખર્યું અને વૃક્ષ પરથી એ થયું જુદું

એના કુટુંબ થી દુર, ઊડયું થઈ દિશા વિહોણું,

ગભરાયું બિચારું, કોઈ હતું નહિ એની આજુ બાજુ.

દિલમાં હતો ડર, ઠંડી હવામાં  ધ્રુજતુ હતું વિચારું

વિચારતું હતું, લઈ જશે ક્યાં મને હવે નસીબ મારું

મારાં કુટુંબથી છું હું દૂર, એકલું થઈ, છું હું બહુ મજબૂર

બધાં સાથે કેવા હલી મળી ને હતાં રેહતા, કિસ્મતને ન જાણે શું છે મંજુર !!!

નસીબ મારું મને લઈ ચાલ્યું ક્યાં, મારા વહાલાઓ થી દુર.

STATUS SYMBOL

Believe me, today to lead a simple life, needs real courage.
There is so much pressure, pomp and show, expectations from the family and outsiders, that one tends to beg borrow and maintain status. May I ask what status ? These people will always remain unsatisfied n grumble behind your back or sometimes even tell you on your face.

Is it worth spending huge amounts for  Navjots, Weddings, Anniversaries; sometimes even taking loans???

These days, it's a prestige issue to have a lavish lifestyle. Big flats, ACs, huge TVs in every room, etc. One keeps paying some loan or the other.

Just think about this. Whom are we trying to impress and satisfy ? Our own Ego ? Or the world ?
Then we constantly worry about loan repayments.
I prefer to have everything necessary but not to compete with relatives and friends. For e.g. A Nano is more useful (these days), than a Merk, it saves petrol and can easily be parked and maintained, unless one has to travel long distances out of town.

Please do think and give your valuable suggestions.

મેહનત કરી, સ્થાપ્યું જગમાં ફરી એકવાર પારસીઓ નું નામ, આપી અનેક જાતના દાન

આવા જ્વલંત ઇતિહાસ ને પાછો દોહરાવી, દિલો જાનથી આપણેબી આપીએ યોગદાન.

ઘર ઘર ગવાય પારસીઓ ની ગૌરવ ગાથા, પ્રેમથી ઝૂકે માથા, આપે સૌ માન.

હીરો કઠણ હોય એટલે કદાચ એ હોય છે કીમતી;

To be their close friend, and teach them tenderly, is the way best;

Sometimes firm be, and at other times with them play, work n jest.

Lovingly if explain we things to them, then life for both, is a fest.

If convinced they are, n faith in us they have, then values good they will ingest.

So we in our children n grandchildren quality time must invest;

ચૂપકીદી

હસતી રમતી હતી એ, સદા મુખે હાસ્ય રહેતું ખિલખિલાટ.

ગમતો બધાને એનો હસતો ચેહરો , જાણે હોય ખીલેલો માહતાબ .

પણ કરમાઈ ગયો એ ધીરે ધીરે, રેહવા લાગી એ ચૂપચાપ

લાગણી એની હતી ઘવાઈ, રડમસ હતો ચેહરો સોહામણો.

માહતાબ પર છાઈ અમાસ, સુંદર મુખડો કરમાયો

પણ ખાનદાની એ બાળાએ ઉફ તક ના કીધી કોઈ દિવસ

દુઃખ ચૂપચાપ સેહતી ગઇ, અંદર ઘૂટ તી ગઇ દિવસ રાત.

કોઈ સામે, કદી લાવી નહિ એ, એના દુઃખી મન ની વાત.

શું કહી શકો તમે, શું હતી એના દુઃખી મન ની વાત?

શા કાજ અપનાવી લીધી હતી એને ચૂપકીદી દીન રાત ?

તારી લીલા

વાંકા ચૂકા છે જીવનના આં રસ્તા, નથી એ જરાયે સરળ

સમજાય નહિ તારી લીલા, તું તો કીચડ માં ઊઘડે કમળ

બદમાશો રાજ કરે અને સાચા માનવ થાય હેરાન પરેશાન

કરે એ, ઝુલમ અને અત્યાચાર; કરે એ બધાને હેરાન

ગરીબ માનવ, ખેડૂત, મજુર, મેહનત કર્યે, ભૂખ્યો રહે ;

જોડે પાઈ પાઈ , તડકો છાયોં, અનેક દુઃખો સહે;

જીવતા જીવત થોડો થોડો મરે બિચારો એ,  રોજ રોજ;

જ્યારે ગુંડાઓ ઐશો આરામ કરે અને ઉડાવે મૌજ.

આં તે કેવી તારી લીલા, ખેલ તારા સાઉ નિરાળા ,

મુજ અબૂધ ને સમજ નહિ આવે; વાદળ ઘેરાય છે જીવનમાં કાળા

જોઉં છું હું તારી તરફ પ્રશ્ર્ન કરી , આકાશમાં નીલા ;

ગુચવાઉં હું , અકળાઉ હું, સમજાવ મને તારી લીલા;

કઢંગી છે તારી રીતો, અને કઢંગી છે અમારી આં અવસ્થા

Do not hurt the sentiments of people belonging to another sect; please introspect.

Most importantly, put yourself in the others place, then interact. Please introspect.

Make life let us easy, for ourselves and others, search for facts. Please introspect.

Respect religions all, but follow and practise our own; don't detract. Please introspect.

A lot our ancestors suffered, yet our religion they did protect; upon this, let's please introspect.

Wouldn't our world be wonderful n much better, if every aspect, we did INTROSPECT.

Our mistakes try to accept we must;  n them amend

Try not to ever hurt anyone; man or beast, do not offend.

Instead, good wishes n vibrations to every creature send.

CONFESSIONS

A set thinking  mostly have I, but sometimes it faulters.

It should not, but questions arise and the decision alters.

Believe I in growing green n desperately prayed for my trees.

Wished I, their green curtain, their flowers, birds, shade n breeze.

But when chopped off they were, irate and very frustrated I was;

Asked You I questions, though humans, of their destruction were the cause !

When just before Shez's wedding, Dad suddenly critical was;

Accept the blow I couldn't and requested You to pull him out of death's jaws

Out of frustration, I asked You why, why, why; surrender I did not.

With You, angry I was; as emotionally with the situation I fought

Though my faith, I say, unwavering is, questions I often ask

Surrender I haven't totally, I admit; does that mean, I wear a mask???

Conffesions I today make, my faith faulter should never .

Help me O Ahura kind to change, to reverse this situation for ever.

After their bath, their towel they make me,

Some kind of mischief, in this they see.

My Freyanush n  Zoi's towel, I love to be.

Such a wonderful time of the day this is; filled with glee.

As hug me they;  with their lil bodies, wet I love to get.

To stay dry I dare not with them ever bet.

To run n  jump in my lap, a time they plan n set.

They somehow succeed in getting me wet.

To be their towel, is absolute fun, a sheer joy.

Love I, to be their towel; their live- fun- toy.

Willingly I become a part of their prank n ploy.

For these cute loving pranks, I am their envoy

શુભ દિપાવલી

હતી એ એક કાજળ કાળી, અમાવસ્ય ની રાત;

પણ આજે કંઈ અનોખીજ હતી આં રાત ની વાત

થવાની હતી આજે પ્રભુ સાથે બધા આયોધ્યાવસી ઓ ની મુલાકાત

ભરત ને મળવાનો હતો સીતાજી, રામ, લક્ષ્મણ નો સાથ

અયોધ્યા નગરી ઝળહળી રહી હતી દિવાળી ના દિપકો સાથ

દીપકઓ ને આપ્યો હતો, ફૂલો અને રંગોળી એ સંગાથ

આં દિવાળી પણ એવી જ હોજો, કૃપા કરજો હે જગ્ગણનાથ.

સંસારપર વરસાવજો અમી ને આશીર્વાદ; શુભ થાઓ આં દીપાવલી ની રાત.

ચીની સામાન ને બદલે નાના ફૂલોના છોડ, Bamboo, money plants આપીયે ઉપહાર માં આં દિવાળી.

ધુમડાના પ્રડ્યુષણને બદલે લીલોતરી ઉઘાડિયે આં દિવાળી.

પિત્ઝા, પાસ્તા, બર્ગર છોડી આસ્લી માલ મીઠાઈઓ ખાઈએ આં દિવાળી.

જિન્સ ટોપસ છોડી, મસ્ત રંગીન  દેશી પોશાક પહેરીએ આં દિવાળી.

ચાલો એક ગરીબ બાળક અથવા કુરકુરિયું બચાવીએ આં દિવાળી.

ચાલો પ્રિયજનો, રંગ બે રંગી રંગોળી, સાથીયા પુરીયે, આં દિવાળી.

એક કાળી અંધારી રાતને રોશન કરીએ, આપનું ભવિષ્ય ઉજ્જવળ કરીએ આં દિવાળી.

કોઈક નાના બાળકને પાથી પેન કે પુસ્તક પેન્સિલ ભેટ આપીયે આં દિવાળી.

Asked me, my Lil girl, "when wise will I become".
Told her I, "easy it is not, wait for time some.
Darling, difference there is between knowledge n wisdom.
To many, even after years, wisdom doesn't easily come."

Hear n listen we all can, but understand only some.
See objects we all, but only see its meaning deep, some.
Intelligent if you are, knowledge, to you may easily come;
But understanding n wisdom comes only to some.

Patience, calmness, perseverance, a vision wide needs one; n when to keep mum.
The wise swear or smoke not; gluttony is a no; drink do not they ***.
Learn to overcome you must, greed, pride, ego, anger, selfishness some.
Stay unperturbed n calm in circumstances all; that will make you wise n awesome.

अगर सारे नेता सच्चे देशभक्त होते तो..... आज भारत स्वर्ग जैसा होता

अगर अभिनेता संस्कार सीखते और दिखाते तो भारत बेमिसाल होता

अगर उद्योगपतियों ईमानदारी दिखाते तो भारत चीन को पीछे छोड़ देता

अगर देश , मज़हब और जाती में नहीं बटा होता तो सबसे शक्तिशाली हम होते ।

अगर उत्तम शिक्षा गुरुकुल जैसी मिलती तो ज्ञान का अभाव यहां न होता ।

अगर ईमानदारी से हम रहते और रहने देते; तो भारत जैसा कोई देश कहां होता !!!

अगर संस्कार, ईमानदारी, देशभक्ति सीखते और उसका प्रयोग होता तो लाजवाब यह देश होता ।

सूजे ना शब्द सही, लिखूं मै क्या

सूजे ना सुर कोई, गावू मै क्या ?

पूजा अर्चना के लिए, जागे ना भाव ;

भजन रचु मै कैसे, मांगू तेरा सुझाव।

हे मा शारदा सरस्वती कृप कर मुझपर;

रची जाए न मुझसे, रचना तुझ पर।

ओ मां दे आज कुछ ऐसा वरदान ;

सुर और शब्द बहे ऐसे, मूर्तिमें आ जाए जान ।

आस्था और विश्वास दृढ़ हो जाए ;
