કહે  એને પોતે બનાવ્યું, જો બને સારું એનુ ચિત્ર

ખુશાલિ થિ  છલકાય, મહકે, પહેરી મોંઘુદાદ ઇત્ર

ન જાણે ક્યાથી આવી જાય એનામાં અભિમાન અને જોશ.

પણ  બને જો ચિત્ર ખરાબ, તો  કાઢે બીજાનો દોષ

આવું કરવામાં, છે એ માહેર, ખરેખર બાહોશ.

વિચાર્યું છે કદી તમે, આં બિમારી માટે, એના ઉપાય માટે ?

તોળે નહિ એ એની  ભુલ, કરે નહિ એ ન્યાય, ધરમ નાં કાંટે.

Lakes you destroy, rivers, seas, oceans you pollute.

What have you made a paradise like Kashmir into ?

A living hell for beauty n peace- lovers it has now become.

Man, even your own body you disease with bad food, smoke n drugs.

Your tongue sharper than a sword, another's peace destroys.

Your very own mind poison you, with thoughts ugly and harmful.

UNLESS WE CHANGE

Change comes only when we wish to really change.

Of thoughts,  planning n actions,  long is the range.

Unless sparks an internal desire, happens nothing.

If desire we there's a need, start with the first thing;

Once sparks the fire  of desire; let's our change plan.

Then with full determination,  that spark,  that fire, fan.

Prayers n  determination will help us to, this change achieve.

Our change, once a habit becomes; a sigh of relief we can heave.

With habits good, our strong character we form

Water shortage acute will become n diseases increase will, in a draught.

Boredom, please don't let it, you overpower;

Look around for material, that used can be.

In an empty container, grow a plant or a tree.

Just yesterday beatified I did, a tiny purse.

Your achievements, great may not necessarily be;

But keep yourself busy, occupied, is my plea.

Or to drop him; in crystal clear waters,  add dangerously slippery,  soapy froth.

By doing this, harm they someone's career,
his efforts or his  goals;

Their ruthless unconcerned behaviour is saddening, in trying to portray  diamonds as coals.

Ahura,  may I always encourage young or old; any newcomers, to reach their goals;

never ill treating them, or pulling them down, or at  them, poking holes.

Instead,  may I treat them like seedlings that potentially will grow to luxuriant trees

Those trees, that will someday shade provide n give fruits,  flowers n cool breeze.

Try I will to them encourage; to bring out their potential n energy release.

Fir aayi Holi ek baar, fir le gayi mere  dil ka karaar;

HOLI

On this day of Holi, today on  a full Moon night ;

Lost evil and celebrated victory truth and things right.

Hirankashyap and his proud sister were so confident about their might;

But lost the evil  Hirankashyap and  Holika to righteousness .

Won Prahlad's faith against his father's viciousness ;

As burnt Holika into flames, survived Prahlad because of God's graciousness.

Let us also, all our vices  burn, as burn will Holi, tonight

Along with  ire, jealousy,  suspicions,  ego and all that isn't  right

As arises morrow , spread may colurs of happiness, shining bright .

HAPPY WOMEN'S DAY

Every woman is a replica of the kind,  loving Lord;

Whom He joined to his children, with an umbilical cord;

Because to reach every child, He couldn't afford.

An epitome of love,  kindness, patience she is;

Even in situations difficult she is like refreshing cool breeze

When required, grit n great strength she does release
