A robin was gathering twigs for a nest being built under a bush near the Guggenheim museum
The Park was filled with visitors, Television and Movie crews, and the Zoo delighting everybody

As I worked yesterday, children were walking to school or visiting the exhibits as the Digital Media curriculum was written with our colleagues
Adults need to learn from children who want to learn and ask questions before they formulate an answer

Here it is again.
The pain dulls but never goes away
You missed sons-in-law, grandchildren, and now great-grandchildren
Weddings, graduations, our lives but most of all we miss you
Mom is with you now and that helps a little but hurts as well
Today is a painful day but luckily is also my husband's birthday
One of the sons-in-law that you never met
Dear Daddy, I miss you and can't believe it is the fiftieth Father's Day
Today I am fifteen again and tears have to stop until August 23 when we are reminded again of the Daddy we lost and miss

My grandfather loaded his pockets and the squirrels had a feast
He died before I was born so this is family lore
The family of five squirrels who live in a park near me
They are sweet and precious and bother nobody
Rocky is the family acrobat
Three are not named yet
Nutella sat on the side branch like a suspended in motion cartoon character
My bi-weekly leaving of nuts and seeds paid off today
Walking away , she came down to retrieve a cashew and disappeared
Seconds later she appeared and helped herself to a pecan
On a cold morning walk before zoom meetings
She made my day

Thinking of how much Henry David Thoreau would have enjoyed this.
Moment of Nature on CBS returned me to Cape Cod at Sunrise.
All one had to do was enjoy the sights and sounds.
The Ocean, Seagulls, Sea Lions and the calm.
Lately Scott Miller's videos are a weekly delight.
We have great gifts from Mother Nature that we should cherish and take good care of
In a world that is sometimes hard to believe and recognize this is a great gift.
