Too much tension and despair so that said you have to look deeper.

People saying don't stress make it more difficult

Find a bit of magic every single day because for now expectations and plans have to go away

Endless tears and last said goodbyes
enabling and co-dependency got up and left the room
getting more comfortable with myself and how my life will move forward
if you were left behind it's because there is nothing left to say
not my intention but it is better than the way it is and was
the memories are gifts

My gift to you is forgiveness but choose not to walk back into the door of your lives

Talking didn't help me
Your acrobatics and sweet way of moving about would warm anyone's soul as long as they keep their distance
You are cute and sweet with shades of blue, white, black and silver and gray
Love nuts and fruit accepting what humans leave for you
On days when crying was all I could do without you a smile would never come to my face

The woman is a blessing
The forever kind
Changed lives and lived every day as an inspiration to us all
A Storybook Love and Life
To Honor she isn't enough
She would not want that anyway
Your politics and ideas don't matter here
What she accomplished still grows and helps many
What matters is that we say farewell to this amazing human being
We should strive to be as kind and incredible as she was
To say the mold was broken is not enough but she was so much more than enough
She more than cared she did something with it and about it

Balloons will fly to Heaven
Every shade of purple for you
Candles will mark your memory
Yizkor will be attempted
365 days will have passed and like many the world has changed
Too many losses and not much gained
We have cried tears that we have not shown
Your children are married
Your grandchildren are married
You lived to see two great grand children
One you never got to hold
The other isn't even three years old
We will tell them stories and show them photographs
2020 broke hearts and minds
Somehow it doesn't want to leave us yet
We will get through this Tuesday

Recently visited Honah Lee in Hawaii.
Peter's song about Puff was recorded when I was very young.
We saw the area for Puff and the inspiration for the lyrics
We all sang along on the tour bus.
The sweetness and creativity was touching and endearing.
Maybe we need to revisit the meaning and genuiness now more than ever before.

You move and climb mountains that held you back while dealing with the valleys and meadows
You tried to climb something that no longer needs to be scaled
You went to a place that only you can divulge
Ethically and emotionally needed cleansing
Needed to fly on its own without you navigating
Not only does it no longer matter
It does not fill you up and its purpose was another's issue
You rethink it and no longer think about it
If it rears its ugly head which it is bound to do
You have grown and changed for the better even if it hurt you
Accountable to yourself, first
Then you can be better for those that share your life

This time I caught your glance and returned that stare
Eighteen and nineteen were long ago
The scar is there
You can let things go but some memories burn and destroy your spirit
See you move on with an attitude but now it is of Gratitude
He showed me the way
A life quite remarkable
You accept not expect
You don't need a lot to be a Prince Charming or to be swept up by one
All it takes is to be loved for the human being that you are
For a very long instant and daily
I treasure what I have and what I learned
He is an original and despite the hurdles we currently face
Together we can conquer it all

The sky is usually inviting even though the telescope still isn't on my deck, yet.
Not tonight.
Crying and writing don't usually go together but this time they do.
Photographs and memories will have to do but was hoping for more time spent with you.
One of the stars in my life who shone brightly has dimmed.
How lucky to have known you and played a part in your life.
More importantly we called each other friend.
So when I am able. looking for a shooting star or a falling star hoping you know what you meant and will always mean to me and many others.

The things don't matter
Buying things or what others bought was a priority
Their feelings and how you manipulated them did
You never learned what unconditional means
Mending that part of a heart may never come
You can move forward
Go for your adventures and enjoy them
There will always be a piece of that broken part of you that has an open wound
It is fine to be like that because some things just cant be made peace with no matter how hard you try
So the next time you clean out the attic check your heart
There are pieces that just won't mend
The beginning is really the end
Your approval was not worth the darkness

Taught them
Teach those that do
Nieces and nephews galore
Violent crime took the opportunity away when she was younger
Maybe that is why Mothers and Fathers Days are hard for many reasons
Yet,he loves her
Yet,she loves him
Never meant to be but
Love conquered all so cruelly taken

Some friendships are timeless
Some don't stand the test of time
You can listen and care but can't fix them or repair them
Once that risks your health
You limit visits and communication
It hurts but change is never easy

Lived in my mind and head for longer than I care to remember
Coming out of that dark place was work and still work at it
A ritual that makes somethings and people fall into place
Others disappear into the air, better off there
You never know what is happening in another's heart or mind
You learn to leave it and them alone unless they ask
Sometimes you do know when something is terribly wrong
The light is sometimes hard to accept but truth is the scare in the dark can come at any time
Once you push through and battle back and decide your worth in this world
That is when you listen more carefully and do your very best to be an exemplary human being in a crazy mixed up world
Hoping your dark place ends earlier than mine did
You find out just how strong, caring, and resilient you are

Strange weather for December in the States
Up and down
Those who suffered or lost in Kentucky and elsewhere
Heartfelt wishes and prayers as well as help from a charity or two as they become available
Ida hurt many and that includes those I love
Help others if you can and that includes our furry
friends
Bought a monument instead of spoiling her with gifts
Flashbacks of a Christmas time long have come and gone
It does not get better with time it just is reminder
So no matter if you celebrate Chanukah, Kwanza, or Christmas
If you can't wait for Boxing day
The wishes are the same Peace, Great Health, Understanding
and hope you are surrounded by love and joy
If you are missing somebody as this poetess is
Remember them fondly and cry in the shower
Let's not spoil it because we have all lost so much

Stop the world
Time to get off
Too many values,hearts,and people broken
Too many stupid and pathetic surprises
Imbalances and no vacancy in what we have come to know as society
We chose ugly and threw
beauty away
Some changes that are inevitable are not acceptable
Sweeping them under the rug and turning out backs accomplishes nothing
Defining it as the new normal just let's us go with the flow?
Optimism might point us towards a better direction
We need to heal
We need to talk
Face to face
Like we used to do
Not all of yesterday is bad
We have tuned out
We are members of too many clubs
There is one club that matters
The human race
There are no band aids to heal it
Common Sense
Dignity ,Grace,and Respect
Accepting change by moving forward not backward

Turning a deaf ear
In one ear and out of the other
Listening and hearing are quite different
Accept and move on
Use your creativity and sensitivity as the gifts they are
Selfishness isn't your motto
Some are all about
When you love somebody
You make a life commitment
Does not work that way
Sharing and caring go hand in hand
Take tine for whom and what matters
Living a life your way
No excuses or explanations
No expectations

The Nunley's Carousel resides in a museum on Long Island
The amazing Billy Joel saved it and had  it restored so adults that were children and remember can ride it again as he did

More than ever possible to have.
Seems more might be necessary but source unknown.
Not sure if tap is dry?
Seems some are too wrapped up in their own to spend time with others or their friends.
So, you do things on your own because you have to be your own best company.
You cancel and delay plans and hope to reschedule.
Spear of the moment isn't as easy as before but hope it will come around again.
Some mean well but need to learn to say nothing if they have nothing nice to share or say.
Patience is a virtue which I hope visits again.

Squirrels came  out of nowhere

Bags sitting to be checked
The arrivals boards left her confused

A flight attendant offered help
The pilot left her crying and the plane was delayed

her shop windows glistening
Her Rockerfeller Center tree stands with ohhs and ahhs around
Her daughter was excited
Her mother didn't have the heart to take her to American Girl or FAO Schwartz
The money wasn't there
This young mother was not dressed warmly but her little girl was
New York City has a magic all her own
A beautifully dressed woman with three little girls in tow gave the little girl a bag
Happy Holidays she cried out as she and her children were whisked away in a car
The bag said American ******* it and it was full
In and out the door
