Golden eagles fly over head
Majestic creatures soaring over the coast
Ginger squirrels rebounded and came home to stay
They thrive like the Hooper swans
Extraordinary creatures in the waterways, the trees, and skies
We have much to admire and learn from them
They are all precious and vital
Enjoy museums, History, and live performances
No need for alcohol or baking in the sun
Let me walk on beaches and climb rocks
Epicurean in restaurants and joints
Not fancy linen tables or Stemware
No five meals a day
Cooking lessons and out of the way tastes and places
Maybe a cruise to Alaska to sea the Polar Bears and the Whales

So excited about last night

Our Mom died five years ago today.
Covid took her.
I prefer to be alone in my foul mood
In  the  big park on an empty bench sat yours truly and a ten pound bag of nuts
Others were having a lively Sunday far from the bench
The nuts were placed between two trees
One squirrel chomped on the shell
Nine nuts later looking for more
Three other squirrels some smaller partaked
Lovely company on a sad day
Leaving they continued their banquet by their trees

Peaks and majesties
Amazing views and vistas
When you fall

Climbing whatever you like

Wish it could change
New decade and too many fears cloud visionaries
Ideas are there
Competition and imbalance are a problem
Old school and new school thinking have to forge a partnership
Some used to bes still count
Herstory and History find common ground
You have to know yesterday to deal with today and hope for tomorrow
No guarantees
Too many afraid of change
Let people be and live their lives without comment or judgment
Destroying life because of hatred and lack of understanding doesn't work
Technology is incredible but people don't just talk face to face anymore

History and research are incredible but not for everybody
You have be a detective and care enough to search deeper than you would think possible
with all the Technology and information available there is so much more to find and comb through
Some discoveries will delight you and others will keep the search until you find what you are looking for or seek out discoveries beyond your grasp
You had little or no knowledge of the past and those who carry your DNA
The maze of research and work is exhilarating. sometimes fruitless, and then the awe when you find out more than you bargained for
Still going through the maze to find out completely who I am and where it all began

Dreaming of leaving on a jet plane to the places temporarily postponed
Grieving losses and deaths very gently

Fifty years of missing you are coming up soon.
I am fifteen again and reliving that moment.
