Either we accept it or we struggle

The Kennedy Center will never be the same again
Said with sorrow and disgust

Stories told well have a beginning ,middle,and an end
History repeats itself
Healed and not broken
Divided and apart
Parallels
Fights have to be fought
Get the History correct
The facts straight and right
We are divided but somehow someway
We need to become one country
Healing and discovery necessary
Agree to disagree
Stop judging and start caring
Move forward and stop living in the past
Tune in and stop tuning out
Remember and stop listening to lies and distortions

There is an alternative reality that is not justified
Facts have three sides yours,theirs,and the truth
Just like 911 changed us

My boardinghouse had secrets and helped Confederates
Wasn’t raised or schooled to do this
Had a much better upbringing
Nevertheless what was done is done

What a nuisance with ideals that disgusted me and many others
Ran a boardinghouse after my Mr. passed
Booth and our friends had a plan

He said I slept through the thunderstorms last night.
If I don't carry an umbrella, I get soaked.
If the slicker is there, been soaked with both that and the umbrella.
Walking under trees is a major no-way.
As the sky grays again and it's quiet the walk happens
It is quiet and most people are driving their cars or working.
Monday and Friday are two of the four days off for me.
Many have asked when I write and the answer many times is in between the raindrops or on a sunny day.

Seven months of fighting the good fight
Waiting to hear two magic words.
That isn't until Friday.
Side effects are still there, and fatigue still hangs around.
We want to get back to what was and put what is behind us.
Before the echoes start, we know there are follow-ups and check-ups

Loving and enjoying Technology made me stop and truly think
What it does and can do is only one side of its story
MIT can study and perfect it

Create games for children to use it better for STEM

She was a very good little girl
Chores and school work done
Polite and listened
Respected her elders
Listened to all the Holiday stories
She quietly sat by the window and fell asleep waiting for the reindeer
and Santa
He never came
When school started again it is not what you think
Her teacher and friends asked what Santa brought her
She replied he doesn't come to my house
We have no chimney and no tree
We have a menorah and tops called dreidels
Back then it wasn't thought of
Adam *******'s Chanukah song was a hit for many for this reason
As was Chanukah Harry
Which is why some say Happy Holidays or Season Greetings
They don't know Christmas
They don't know Kwanza
They might not even celebrate Chanukah
Santa didn't arrive because they were not taught to believe in him
I believe in his magic and all that help him

48 years ago my beloved Daddy left us this Monday
Mom is with you now and that makes it harder but easier for you
The pain returns every August
Flashbacks of how you were taken so very young when we were very young
You would be proud of all of us
The scars of yesterday did not stop us
We still fulfill dreams
All the joys and triumphs of our lives felt you were there
Your girls and their husbands
Your grandchildren
Your great grandchildren so little and we will share stories about you
The tears are here and visiting the cemetery doesn't help
You are not there, you are in my heart
The Monarch butterfly flew by me awhile ago so I know you are here and with me

For those no longer in reach or out of touch
Grateful for the time we had and that you passed my way

Last three years we lost a parent and two Dear friends

Changing rules that are fair ,just,and well documented
Seems to change when applicable to one party while the other tries to uphold and follow laws,rules,regulations,and History.
History repeats itself but it doesn't change as it should.
Some seem to rewrite as it helps their cause.
The former President and his gang violate everything and don't play fair
They just want to win though they gave list and refuse to admit it
Lying cheating, manipulating are their areas to excel in
Maybe that us why Depression and Paranoia

Been there and been through turmoil and hell,
Buried things that should have exited long ago.
Wanted to protect someone who was too ill to help
His exit broke my spirit
My apologizes to my friends and loved ones who knew about my anger all the time
You never threw your hands up, Thanks
If you did, your loss.
Took a caring physician to open the door to a very dark world.
He did and made me work hard to change not just who I am but why I am.
Even those who love you can't listen the way you need them too.
So a professional with a trained ear was suggested and the talk worked
People who are Extra sensitive usually find a way in this world and we still get stuck
Asking for help just isn't something we do
We want to help others but there comes a time when you have to ask
The denim blue stormy days still come but they are far and few between
You let go of those who hurt you
You surround yourself with the very best of people
If you have been bullied than you know what I mean
There are some here that qualify as the best and lucky to call some here friends
Here it goes
Get what you need
Ask for help even if you are not confident enough to do so
Realize that something needs to change and you start the change
Seek it and don't leave us because you don't think there is a way out
You have to go in and find a guide to help you
Here it goes and I hope you find it
It is more than fine to be a work in progress
Your life is not work find a way to enjoy it
