They introduce the little ones to their family
A new family member is due anytime now
Make for great stories and answers to their questions
We own our home and we worked hard for it
I still can't believe those poor young teachers did it
More to come on our journey and journeys

Nasty day for Spring
The squirrels were wet and freezing
Hoping for something to eat
No success just yet
She came by left the shelled roasted nuts in three places near trees in the park
One squirrel summoned two others
They feasted as their human walked away
Watching quietly in the rain
Here's to sunnier days and more caring humans

You can't avoid the pain in their eyes
Maybe a faded smile
Look a little longer and dig a little deeper
Sometimes the older photos have stories that we are first beginning to know and understand

Maybe even a gift we have yet to accept
Care about connections

So excited about last night
Musical and writing chemistry like a new planet
What fun watching
Now to listen to the CD
Been awhile since I bought one
This is well worth the wait
