Do not weep for our dear friend
Think of him this night
In terms that he would really love
Nascar turned him "right"
We lost a friend we loved today
Our family down by one
Remember Al in your own way
He's now a star, a blazing sun
A father, granddad, brother
A friend to all who crossed his path
A man to share a story with
A man to share a laugh
A green, white, checkers finish
Is the way our friend lived his time
He was a mentor to so many
I'm glad that his path did cross mine
I will toast his life in honour
Break out the port and praise his name
For I am proud I knew him
And I hope you all feel the same
We all share many stories
Of our time with our dear friend
And though we're hurt so by his passing
The tales we tell will never end
A hangover on drambuie
A trip to watch a race
Each story shared is special
Each story has it's place
Remember now our friend Al
How he'd laugh and tell a joke
He'd not want us to weep for him
But, to go and sneak a smoke.....
For Al Craddock. RIP our friend.
I want you to stop being calm
I want you to stop being stupid
stop pretending like none of it is happening
that we aren't in the middle of a disaster
stop being okay with it.

It isn't okay.

Sometimes, it really isn't.
Can't you tell I'm testing you?
All I want is to know you'll love me no matter what I do
and so far

you're failing miserably.
The only thing I want
the only thing I ask from you
you won't let me have

I can take your hate
and your disapproval
but all I want is some **** freedom

right now I want to be with him
or somebody else
or just somewhere else

but you keep me close
prolong this hell
because, you can

you won't listen to my reasons
and make up your own lies
well you should know
I hate you for it
I need more than rules.

I need more than to look good,
to look right,
the way you want me to appear

Maybe I need some more,
some trust,
forgiveness.

Some legitimate love, though I hesitate to use the word.

Whatever.
I set out on a simple task.
Looked at the sun and started to ask.
"Can I change the world dear sun,
like you so often do?
Can I change the world I asked,
I want to shine like you."
The sun could see
She stared at me
And threw my question back.
"Can you change the world you said?
Is that what you asked?
My child you shine as bright as me
And with that mind, you have."
I hope this makes sense.
