Untrodden silver cesspool,
Darkened by bombshell blast,
Riding in weathered abyss,
Covered with killer cannon fodders past.

Black battle went into starstruck night,
All started to fall, but not all fast,
Over tricky time they all did fight,
With wind guiding bloodstained mast.

Lovers light broke with rising sun,
Gleefully gallivanting through hours passed,
Tediously tiptoeing with hopes to run,
Over red salty sea made infinitely vast.
Another old poem.

I love the different feelings of each time of day

Refreshing, lively sunrise
Vast, active midday
Beautiful, peaceful sunset
Crisp, enticing midnight

The darkness upon your face is beautiful
while the world is vast; winding rivers take over the nightfall,
I think about your face during the night,
when the moon and owls sing; while I am the moon
Mountain peaks are covered with snow; the world turns endlessly
yet I am still a Gemini by birth; my thoughts are forever changing,
A semi-colon representing my thought process,
forever endless and a constant stream,
like rivers at the nightfall, of dissimilar mindsets.

punishment, not fit

for a velvet plaything

treated like lobotomized dogs

vast vivid wilderness of pain

will you ever see through the fog

the wretchedness I adore

in my head, eternal hell

taken for granted our prizes are mounted

the hypocrisy we deplore

punishment not fit for a mangled heart

blisters these hands twitch

to be found, all is lost to start

feel the nervous itch

It's funny how I'm a universe.
                   A universe so vast.
So vast you'll never see the whole me.

The whole me? Does it *matter?

traveling through a large plane
an opalescent sky
wide, encompassing embrace
soft lavender-gray clouds float on a string
hovering like distant islands of heaven
a land promised
tender gradient pink to gray
mile-long notations drift
isolated in blue and soft gold

in shifting rays
your voice is holding me aloft
burnished and blending
drawing me
filling my movement
rounding my heart
the rising moon
the sweet aching fullness
the deepening
twinkling colored night
is to you

I'm drawn
For the one I love... you make me feel fully alive and I thank you
So vast and unknown
Terrifying, yet beautiful
My greatest fear,
Yet my favorite thing in the world
I wish to get to know you better;
If only I could
Your sounds lull me to sleep;
Soft and gentle
The sight of you scares me to death;
The crashes,
The darkness underneath
I tried to conquer you,
Time and time again
But I can't
I'll just admire you from a distance

How shall I hymn you,

majestic presence? Shall I

be the wide sea, and

weep, overcome in your vastness?

or, evaporate, seeking you?
1. This is written in the style of Japanese tanka – my first attempt at that, all you experts, guide me if I’ve got something wrong there!

2. The origins of ‘contemplate’ are rooted in meditation on the sky!
