The sun is setting
blissfully
and subtly touching the branches on this hill.
A flood of color is emerging from
heaven and enveloping the world in
heat.
All I am
on this hill
is a part of the grass.
Broken by the wind,
and taken by the rush of beauty.
All I am
on this hill
is and was, and will be.
And it is alright.
Because mother nature is resting her head.
Enlightening the world in an overpowering aura.
For a second
malice
is nonexistent
evil is
unheard of,
and every piece of good
seems part of this day, so fragrant.
All I am,
on this hill
is a stranger
glancing at the light.

I laid on a dune, I looked at the sky.
And saw the clouds passing by.

The Moon was peeping through the clouds.
To me it seemed so fake; like a plastic in a vase !

But if I had a mind,
I could write about Pluto, Jupiter and Mars.

I could folio on a rainbow from Venus,
and have breakfast with stars.

Or I could spin the galaxies,
And play pinball with them.

But, I felt so helpless and small;
'Immense', that is what I could say in all !

These here, these great seas,
All the poets have come to you;
and stood in awe before vast pleasing views,
Of tempests wrought great sorrow,
Of skies filled with ore and silver light,
Of deep unknown and questioning existence,
Of gods, and heavens more vast than you,
Of who sails beyond the horizon,
Of the winds and scents of your shores,
Of endless sands to set foot upon,
Of all the arcane myths and lores!

How may I greet these great seas any differently?
So that I may cause a shift in the tides?
Alas, dreams far grander than I, these are;
The tides will shift as they may,
And every soul will be swept away.
A tribute to Whitman's style.

consuming chocolate happens to grant
a more therapeutic, enlightening
experience than any counselor
has given you. the sweets
melt into your tastebuds in a
vast array of decadent
flavors, but the remedy
for your heartache is shattered
just moments after the candy is

devoured. soon,
the bathroom is decorated
in earthy browns, chunks
of violet, lines of indigo,
sunset orange lumps, and
snippets of
incapacitated self-esteem
among spots of your own
red blood because

you need to feel
empty.
i'm so sick.

the universe
isn't vast enough
and big enough
to show you
how much
i love you.
