Surfing Throughout the corners of a mind i think is corrupted,  
You won't find your tears here in this hell while life is instructed,
Bean spilling about your uncle , your mother , your father , your baby cousin,
I got a secret for you..
Teenage lovers , watch them fade and see what they had once before,
Under covers , thinking back when *** was good , not anymore,
Losing sparks and see them  fly into someone elses vicinity,
i got a secret for you..
When people label you as something that you never thought you would be,
Looking for a piece of positivity and empathy,
I could make you see how wonderous life could truly speak,
i got a secret for you..
Stars shine , but not only for them for he leaves no one out at all,
Can't lose your composure cause you wouldn't be able to bare it all,
look for purpose in life and prepare for a new fall,
i got a secret for you..

Sing a different song to a new beginning,
i was on my own but wasn't done with sinning,
In my heart i know i am truly winning,
all these bad thoughts haunt like whoelse is thinking,

Staying away from all the bull from what you think is fun and better,
Heaven makes a stone cold blind man see weather,
i'm not in your line of ignorance , i know i could do better but,

Breathing in the devils musk and make fuss about this life,
Making decisions that you know is wrong but you do it right,
Scuffing down your fathers alcohol bottles with some ice,
i got a secret for you..
Bound to drinking and shooting up but you know thats not the way,
Because of a family that doesn't understand you and your phase,
planning to leave and never come back was in the mind anyway,

Know you worth cause isn't hard in this wicked world to start,
Guard your brain , guard you heart , guard your soul don't drift apart,
but there was something you always had to embark,
That God Loves you , take your life back,

Have you got a thank you mantra, eh?
Something to say each day,
Thank you, we woke up anyway,
Thank you for my bed and shower today,
Thank you I can read and write,
Being a poet does feel right,
Thank you for our beautiful world,
Prayers for peace from an ******* girl,

Yeah,
It's been a while but figured I need to write you some
27 now and hope you're proud of who I've become
I've fallen a lot but felt your grace pick me up
My guardian angel with me pushing any kinda luck
I've been asked a few times who I wanna be as I get older
Said you just in case I never told ya
Grandpa told me what you did when I was a kid in need of guidance
Protecting my eyes from my father's influence and violence
I heard that and couldn't help but I shed a tear
Not a min goes by that I don't wish you were here
My drive is strong but everyday I know you
help me steer
My moment is big with the critics talking but you're the only voice that I hear
You taught me to always **** em off with kindness
When you show who you truly are when no ones watching - that's when you're at ya finest...
Taught me to handle it when I get set backs
Been through the worst times to get the best back
At times I feel I ain't work hard enough to get where I wanna go
And feel i can't move forward cause I ain't let the past go
Still holdin in some anger from things that don't think about me
I'm blinded by my emotions in which truly I can't see
I'm trying to become everything and more that you'd be proud of
I'm trying give back more and show more love
It's hard when naturally this doesn't go through you
People won't understand all this unless they knew you
I promise to get better and be the example
And showcase who I am instead of giving out samples
You're the reason I get up everyday and gain motivation
Because you can't get what you want if you remain complacent
Need your help to guide my broken heart to pure places
Give me the strength to become a lil more patient
So I say a prayer for you, cross my heart and continue to strive
And hope that you remain with me on my journey and never leave my side.
You was right but I had to see for myself
I guess it took time for me to earn for myself
I hope this is somewhat a thank you for all ya help
I hope the angels take care of you until I see you myself.

You've said your bit, that's that,
You've toughened me up, all right,
Tell me something I don't know, you uptights,

Like the insect to the light, quite the opposite here.
In this duskless place, in this non shadow realm, they find the new shade beautiful.  
But why?
More and more of them were filling the room.  
Seeking out the darkest of dark.
The shadow of shadows.
The shade of shades.   I then realize that these little beautiful creatures are looking for the source.  They are looking for me.

I run about the room from corner to corner.  The little pattern shaped insect like creatures were getting closer and closer to me.  I did not want to touch such a beautiful being made of infinite light.  I don't know what my shadow touch would do to them. Would it **** them? Would it hurt them?  But then I find myself feeling as though they want to be touched. As if my darkness is their salvation.  The former light room now looked as if a bucket of black paint exploded inside of a white room.  There was shadow steps everywhere as well as shadow marks on the walls. It was not long after that The room was almost completly black with darkness.  The light insect like creatures looked like stars in space. I was the darkness they rolled on.   It soon got to the point where I was cornered.  The room was now filled with these beautiful creatures.  All of which knew I was in the corner of the room.  It was the only corner where light was left. As soon as that part of the room dimmed they all flew into me.  They swirled and spiraled around me.  It was amazing! It reminded me of a galaxy.  I opened my hand and one of them landed on it. There was then a beautiful shine and sound.  Then a voice uttered two words.  " Thank you."   The creature was gone.  Then I felt someone hold my hand!

Laying in bed side by side
facing one another
looking into each others eyes
but looking away when it becomes too much
your thumb grazes my lip
and my eyes come right back to yours

thank you for taking the time
to make me feel desired
I thank you for putting this smile back on my cheeks
