Oh, I love so many peoples' words
They make me feel like I'm not alone
But my own feel like whey and curds
Sometimes good, but usually just fine
To be saved for a sucky nursery rhyme
Day 8 of NaPoWriMo.

There was never a happily ever after
For it was woe in costume
There was no heroine
There was but he took a hike
There was no magic
For it was onyx

Thus London Bridge is falling down again , crushing many in it's way
Mary has lost her little lamb , Eaten by wolves looking for it
Cinder-ella had developed black lung , she's in the dust
The cow shattered his ribs coming down from the moon , he's crippled
And Mother Goose perished due to old age
Designed to ruin the childhoods of many
Good riddance to you , Nursery Rhymes & Fairy Tales .

They said that the breeze
Told them nothing but miseries
They said that the grass
Inhaled nothing but nurseries
They said, “We seek you for tragedies,
And we want our tears to pick your lyers;
we made you dreams of catastrophic allegories,
and we want our grief to mourn over your prejudice
of undesired futures.”
They claimed that they were conjured of
Passion and mysteries
Of knowledge other than blasphemies
They said, “We chant you for the last morning tea
We desire you for your ever-after evening satires,
Stay, and keep us for the crystal wires
Of your undying lyres.”
They said so as desired and as deprived,
Yet if they are so afraid to lose
Why do they seek in the first place?

Mary had a dead beat dad
His fist hit hard and cold
Every time that Mary screamed
Her dad would hit two fold
One day Mary ran away
She sought escape from home
She ran until her legs collapsed
Left withered and alone

Two men saw Mary late one night
They sought to take advantage
Mary noticed and she tried to fight
But had the least of leverage
As Mary lay with blood still fresh
Her mind and body numb
She thought of how to end it all
Each thought so very glum

A body lay upon on the ground
That of a dead young lady
Her body bruised with blood around
Skin still warm but faintly
On her chest a message etched
The message reads as follows
"I don't deserve to live
And neither does my father
Because of this fact
I feel an overwhelming sorrow"

This may have been a story
But its one rooted in truth
A child is a gift
We must protect the youth
Another redone nursery rhyme this one with a much more serious tone to it.

Jack and Jill went up a hill
to get better reception.
Jack gave up, Jill tried her luck
with no success to mention.

Upset they got, and slowly walked
Back their rented cabin
They cried to Mom, to Dad they sobbed
Without facebook
no location could they tag in.
I'm rewriting old nursery rhymes so they are more relevant to today's kids. Just some fun stuff.

Ring around the rosie,
We ripped off all their tosies.
Run all you wish; all the more delish.
The idea of your ****** gets cozy.

Row, row, row your boat,
To the sound of screams.
The body in the bag is starting to sag,
But by morning it'll feel like a dream.

Jack and Jill went out to ****,
To **** their abusive father.
Jill got drowned when Dad was found,
And Jack forgot all about her.

Mary had a little lamb
With a secret in its wool;
See, it fed upon its owners' souls,
And with Mary he'd be full.

Rock-a-by baby,
On the cliff's side.
We see now you're not human,
There's no place to hide.
And, though we are scared,
Our armies will come,
And, one way or 'nother, this horror be done.
You ever find yourself trapped listening to something over and over and over and over again until you're driven so totally bat-**** crazy that you'll go out of your way to warp and perverse the source into something terrible and nearly non-recognizable??

That's not what happened here. I just wanted to be morbid :-p
If you're happy and you know it
Slit your wrists
Watch your blood drip down
To your fists

If you're happy and you know it
Stay away from THE zombie poet
If you're happy and you know it
Look out for Chris

Cloaks of Shadows hide me away,
Don't Let the monsters get me today.
I swear a’ oath, of blood and truth.
Pay I shall, so do not sway.
Eat me later, for I very prefer you.
To fall in your depths, lost forever in content.
Why not, must I say?
But Alas to Death you shall hand me over.
A friend now, but later foe.
For a predator to all, you sure are.
Cloaks of shadows do not care.
To those who listen, beware.

Your boat
Cut you so deep
To make you scream,
Merrily
MERRily
MERRILY

Your life is bleeding
Out slowly, this is not a dream.
Row

Your throat I will
Cut  so deep, no longer will
You breathe

Your going to
Bleed,
Life,
Die,
And the last thing
You will see or hear is me
Singing you to sleep..
Didn't like how they worded or the structure so rewriting them
