Xan Abyss Dec 2014
Destiny swims in an ocean of doom
Tossed upon the waves
Monsters guarding ancient tombs
Phantoms stalk their graves
Serpents and arachnids roam
Beasts keep human slaves
In ruins of the olden world
To the outer realms of space

So you travel through space and time
But at the end of the road you'll find
Your fate is the same as mine
And one day we all will die

Your portal will show you the truth
Of how the Mighty are Doomed

In the depths of the underground
And the bottom of the sea
There are secrets hidden from the world
No one must ever see

When giant creatures ruled the land
To days still yet to be
This earth may never understand
The power within thee

So you travel through space and time
But at the end of the road you'll find
Your fate is the same as mine
And one day we all will die

Your portal will show you the truth
Of how the Mighty are Doomed
The horrors lurking in the dark
A menace worldwide

The prophet and the guardian
Are always at your side
Infernal forces hunt for you
Alive for your demise

Across the earth and in the water
To the winds up in the sky
The Prophecy foretold
Of the arrival of a Mighty One
A warrior of maximum potential
Your Destiny is old
Ancient as time itself
Your mission is harsh and eternal

Curses linger through the ages of man
Death is eager to meet us
Myths and legends of far away lands
Hunt to **** and eat us
Science and sorcery of death
Rally to defeat us
But we survive no matter the odds
The universe still needs us

So you travel through space and time
But at the end of the road you'll find
Your fate is the same as mine
And one day we all will die

Your portal will show you the truth
Of how the Mighty are Doomed
A metal song about Mighty Max.

The pain is immense.
Shiny metal teeth laughing.
I hate this zipper.

a coat of iron
has blanketed my skin,
steel has sealed away my bones,
and my heart has been
filled with lead.

i am no longer
human.

i cannot feel, emotions bounce off
my armor as
if flies on a
window.

i am no longer
**in here.

Skeletal remains* above the waters edge
What was so full of life now
Rotting,
Decayed,
Unrecognizable
To what was pictured before,
The waves wash upon it
Weathering its remains
No one cares, they see the remnants
But not a second look or care
Forgotten,
Past,
Blind
To its fate, so uncaring even though
The remains still visible,
"We mourn"
Those who remember that life
Now consumed by the sea,
Soon another memory  lost
"When the storm came"
What was there now gone,
"So much joy given"
Now but a broken shell pier
Its remains still showing
But who now knows for how long..

Are you ready for the show?
Ready for the night?
It's time to cure
Of our impurities

Who said of the famous living dead?
It drowns our thoughts
And invades our heads
Cleaning our faults

Stars shine Bright
Death shines brighter
What's so bad about dark?
It's home

when he left
it was as if
someone had
flattened my veins
and poured my
blood
into the ocean,

because i cannot
shower
or drink
or swim;

i can only
drown
in the metallic
taste
of my own plasma
creating a new
universe
without me

~Those who party in glass houses often bring them down~

~
I had an idea while waiting in a glass bus shelter... I wonder what would happen if you placed a deathcore metal band in some room made completely of glass and got them to play their heaviest number?

as a lock i am content.
smooth metallic surface skin
(perfect shiny smooth so i smile)
mechanics behind eyes
mouths hands ankles
special functions each. i feel
content with my place, i feel
satisfied with my perceptions,
i am fulfilling my
daily roles, my existence
is justified, i feel physically
full – not from the stomach but from
the guts, not with food but with
blood like a rush-reaction
heating up, flushing red
like my lips after what we did
on my bed on saturday
(always slightly on edge with our
programmed satellite ears extended out
in case some innocent wandered in)

everything in its right place
my plodding daily satisfaction
(to satisfy mysthesystemelf)
no happy hours but happy days,
healthy children, healthy lifestyle
feeling pure and therefore proper
and therefore all is well.
i repeat. all is well.

i woke up today turned on
the coffee giant poured a cup,
drank the tar pleasantly surprised
by a peck on the cheek from my
husband_ kids sent off to school_
stayed at home all day_ husband
off to work_ came home, he came home_
i had a lovely day, thank you,
obligatory post-dinner ***
and
as a lock i am content.

Monotone stemmer og opgave ark
i tusinde eksemplarer hjemsøger
mine drømme om ingenting.
Det hele smelter sammen
som metaller i ild
og det er der jeg ser dig.
Du hiver metalmassen ud af ilden
og kaster den ned på gulvet
hvor det ligger
som en stor rødglødende pøl
midt i det hele.
Du tænker ikke over
at jeg svøber metaller
i en skabelon
af mit hjerte.
