Blade of Heaven's rain
Misfortune has left its mark
Dew sings songs of grief
338 followers, *** thank you all so so much!
This haiku was dedicated to me watching the grass blades in my garden as it's been raining.
Usually I feel so tired around rain but today, I feel so energized! I've got a new project in tow - a new free verse collection in the works! ^-^
I've got alot of research to do for it but itll be worth it!
Stay safe and well everyone,
Much love,

A part of me died last night-
Swallowed by deep shadows,
A Prestidigitator's Rite-
Conjures  woeful wet tomorrows.

Oh,

Little Black Death, a part of me;
How my soul it now does borrow,
Still
I'm not what I wanted to be
All I've become's known sorrow.

Now its over, No more feeling,
Nothing left - to believe in

Youth without youth, 70's child,
No longer 'them' but 'us'
Disguised in a cipher's hidden truth
how inconspicuous.
Inspired by Meg Myers 'Little Black Death' off the album 'Take Me To The Disco'

hands pure as snow picking me up from thorns piercing through.
chills overcome as it levitates me above into the air of peace where no home of pain resides.

up, up and away i go leaving rough tracks and stone pathways.

no more pain, no more weight.

The Great Storyteller
pens ink to the wind
Pressing pen to its paper skin
shredding its word on the taste of rain
its drip of spirit in deep refrain

A sweet scented memory
echoes and burs
A woe of regret weeping
high in the nest of its underworld

The humid mist of nostalgia
rests its net oer the black veil
Sinking its face to its deep blue belly
Its pale faint ***** in her sleeping beauty
claims its kiss to widen its wake

I did not despair when the crumbling path fed into muddy grass
And I do not despair when my walk in Jackson Park comes to pass
You can show me danker, darker, soaked in ****** evil roots
And I can show you higher, tougher, softer rubber boots

I did not despair when greeted by splotched grins in the maize
And I do not despair when my fears fill my fields with daze
You can burn my farm into blazing screams rising into razing sky
And I will seal my eyes to bask in heat that keeps me dry
In the style of Edgar Allen Poe

Lend me your eyes
Ill show your majesty

Lend me your broken body
Ill shape its universe to mine

Lend me your soul
Ill set  fire to it inside me

Lend  me your will
Ill die and you will rise

no power
greater

than
what
you give
power to

My wants are many,
my desires - endless;
yet my needs are few.

Of that which I have,
I take what I need;

of that which remains,
are portions for you.
Wealth can be a great blessing if we choose to spread good cheer and pay it forward by redistributing it among those who are truly in need.

Abdullah ibn Amr reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “The merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Be merciful to those on the earth and the One in the heavens will have mercy upon you.”
