Your hoodie still hangs in the back of my closet...

It's been there for months

But i cant bring myself to throw it out
It's the only thing that still smells
Of your sweet cologne and shampoo,
The cigarette smoke and green smoke too

It holds the memories of your hand

And when i see it I'm looking into your face again,  as you say "I love you"
Something so often done that
I'll never again see you do

Kisses don't compare
To all the little things we do
Singing in the car
Holding hands
Dancing in the kitchen

The little moments last forever
With you

I cannot wait a lifetime for you to realise how much you love me.

Love can last an eternity, but love cannot be put on hold.

Love cannot wait, why would you make me wait?

I fall into your grasp again,
Awaken me,
Flesh on flesh,
Iridescent moons,
I lick the wounds,
Cuddle--caress,
Please hold me again,
My thoughts turned grey,
Sorrow--aching,
Words that play,
The little violin in the hearts of all
Saddened girls.
i am stuck in the in between

Cracked China cup
At a chipped table
Stained cloth dressing
Do you still see
Beautiful
Tell me now
As broken candles
Burn
        On
Down
Broken things
See broken things
And cracks hide
Truth
I see you
This crack’ed thing
And I see you
Beautiful
Lovely you
Cracked
But not outdone
They try to
Break you
Take you
Because you’re the only
One
A cracked cup
That runneth over
But
Can still hold your
Own
Oh precious
How you’ve grown
Setting a place that
You deserve
I pray that
You are filled
Cracks only
Show
When you can’t
Hold

But I’d gladly hold
You

on some days
it feels like these hands could write
endless love poems
but can never truly hold love
