I was given an award at school that day
And a friend mocked me, thinking there was no way
Someone one would choose me for being kind and smart
And then I showed my friends my award
For once them not seeing me as absurd
Until a friend ripped my award apart.
this is my 63rd poem, written on 12/6/23. I had to throw the award away because it was so messed up :((

Simple but never dead
The words left hanging in the air,
Unable to catch them,
They fall to the ground,
Buried deep inside not to live,
Not to die but remain unknown,
Hidden from people left alone,
Covered in a blanket
Not long ago, left behind.

I still dream of you,
Not too much,
But sometimes, when it rains,
My mind wanders to your home,
Thinking of you.

If it was a fallen branch, I'd burn it
If it was a wild beast, I'd hunt it
If it was a string, I'd cut it
If it was glass, I'd shatter it
If it was paper, I'd rip it apart
But I cannot do that, because it is my heart.
this is my 50th poem, written on 11/18/23. yay go me !!

I make my way among a mighty castle, but to everyone else that is merely ruins. The rubble covers the earth surface, but I pick it up and begin to build anew. The others just watch, fascinated by sight, to build a grave into a ceremony of life. They say their time has frozen in place, but I know it will move eternally. As I lay the bricks, one by one, a new story will start to write, for only the authors who let it be that way, and yet I’ll never realize that my new chapter of life has started, and they’re writing their final sentence. Still building this castle, one by one, but the debris still infects the Earth, when suddenly a thought comes to mind. It darkens and swallows the life. I sink to my knees, drowning in fear, as dark clouds gaze from heaven. I’ll never finish this castle. Humanity will never survive. They’ll slowly fade away, never to be remembered again I’ll never finish this castle, if nobody is here to share the memory.
this is the 8th poem i’ve ever written, created on 1/12/23

I was born from a storm
destructed from flesh to bone
beautifully perched in a cloak
in arbitrary, it was a dysmorphic view.

"How have I morphed into this?"

And all the skeletons in my closet seem like a myth hanging around in a locket, I gave you a thing where I put my little heart into it. I've gained in my drastic, obnoxious change.

I was never asked to choose a side,
it is to fate I must abide.
I am the child that war has aged, I am the soul that time has caged.

I am the breeze lost in a storm,
I am that flower whose stem was torn.
I am a dream never achieved,
I am the innocence that war conceived.

Among the rubble I stand alone, my precious home a pile of stone. Out in the cold without a cover,
I starve to death or may recover.

I am the cries and all the screams,
I am the victim of corrupt regimes.
In every battle or every war,
it is my blood they always draw.

I am a bird without his wings,
I am the child who lost his limbs. Amidst the fear and all the dread, I am a body amongst the dead.

To every general who wears a star,
I am the one who bears the scar. I am the only voice of hope,
with all the horror I have to cope.

I am bewildered and feel ashamed,
to see serenity within the sane.
I am, the child of war.

The universe oscillates between life and death,
Hanging in the equilibrium.
Two forces beyond infinity
Will always be creation and destruction.
Memories are dying,
Moments are being lived for the first time.
Galaxies are exploding into multicolours.
Stars are fading into oblivion,
their glow dimming.
Nebulae are rejuvenating,
painting galaxies upon galaxies.
The sun, ever present
is burning its own energy.
The edges of time
are constantly unfurling.
Our body's remains are transforming
into mud and soil.
A tree grows, its branches are withering.
Vines are creeping on tree bark,
The butterfly is taking its first flight.
A bird is flying for the last time.
Somewhere, there's a beep emanating from a hospital machine.
The line goes flat,
The loved ones are crying
Tears of grief.
In the same building,
A new born's life is being celebrated,
The loved ones are crying tears of joy.
In the blink of an eye,
Waves crash
and waves recede.
In the blink of an eye,
The circle of life is being completed.
In the same second,
Humanity has lived a thousand lifetimes.
In the same second,
Humanity has died a thousand lifetimes.
For us, a lifetime passes.
For the universe,
It's a small oscillation.
An ode to the infinite
balance between
lives and deaths,
Creation and Destruction.
The dances of life and death
collide painting countless
cycles of life.
I take a moment as I pay
my gratitude to the universe
for including my circle of life
in its vast canvas.
I wrote this poem as an ode to the ultimate equilibrium between creation and destruction and how these forces are two sides of the same coin.

a mountain landslide
tears away years of debris
exposing its heart
The hillside is scarred, but new growth is assured.
My Dear Poet Aug 2024
You can’t keep holding on
to disaster
Disaster has no heart
but to destroy
You need to live
happily ever after
Danger is not a toy
I say this because I love you
I say this because I’m a friend
I say this because I need you
I need you here to the end
