Upon Sidon's altar, bathed in golden light,
Where fragrant breezes danced throughout the night,
Sidon's women, with grace and nimble feet,
Did weave a ballet, a celestial treat.

Around the stones, a vibrant, living hue,
Their bodies moved, a rhythmic, flowing view.
With effortless steps, a tapestry of art,
They crushed the flowers, a delicate, sweetheart.

Meadow blossoms, soft and fragile white,
Beneath their lightness, lost in fading light.
A symphony of motion, swift and free,
A dance of worship, wild and ecstasy.

The altar glowed, a beacon in the air,
Reflecting beauty, beyond compare.
The women's spirits, soaring, light and bright,
In graceful circles, bathed in sacred light.

Their movements spoke of joy, and love, and grace,
A timeless rhythm, in this hallowed space.
A fleeting moment, captured in the past,
Where Sidon's women danced, forever cast.

If I am going
to Dance
I don't want
to be part of
a Dance
that is a manifestation
Of something that is existent.
If I am going
to Dance
I want
to be part of
A Dance
That brings something new
Into existence.
Sometimes, the only way to win, is not to play.

A rhythm stirs, a whispered plea,
When hands entwined with you and me.
He dances, swift and light and free,
A language spoken, wild and glee.

Uncommon words, a vibrant hue,
His movements paint a canvas new.
From sheltered arm, a gentle shove,
He lifts me high, to realms above.

A fluffy cloud, a soft embrace,
Where sunbeams fade, and shadows chase.
And then, the heavens weep in tears,
Black rain descends, dispelling fears.

Within my eyes, the torrent falls,
A cleansing shower, soothing calls.
He carries me, a fragile thing,
Where joy and sorrow softly sing.

Through swirling mists, and skies so vast,
He holds me close, a cherished cast.
A whispered promise, soft and low,
Where love resides, and shadows flow.
Lily of the valley when is,
    dancing with the breeze..
  Is full of dews,
       with a sighting view..
  With the meadows,
          in the realm..
  Is full of mists,
     in the dawn..
   When sun is shining,
         at the least..
It is all about,
         morning vibes indeed..
Filled with,
      refreshing drops of hopes,
            Which is,
        life’s driving force in need..
A beautiful lily of the valley, that dance with the breeze.

The morning dew drops fall to their rest,
Little stars gleaming with moonlight’s reflections,
Each a prism of distant dimensions
Where water weaves its timeless art.
...
On the tapestry of earthy green leaves,
A universal ballet begins its dance.
...
Spinning fractals sway to rhyming crickets,
Their choir humming a classical strain,
Soaring high as ancient redwoods
That tower over dew drops as they plié
Into a pirouetting waterfall,
Its crash a cosmic pulse of percussion,
Rising swift to a triumphant crescendo.
...
Then silence falls with dawn’s first light,
Transforming the dewy pantheon
To diamonds ablaze in golden rays,
Their stance defiant against the sky’s vault.
...
Back to the heavens from which dew wept,
A forlorn mist yearning for cloudward flight,
Yet bound by gravity’s tidal embrace,
Turning mist to rain, falling as stars.
...
Droplets destined to meet the lonely night,
And dance again in the dew drop ballet.

A Dance with the Devil

Oh, how I’ve always wanted the world in my hands.
Daydreams and the constant falling into trance,
a trance that I want to be stuck in forever
lost in the sway of a dance with the devil.

The words upon my tongue will do the trick.
Believe; give in receive what you ask. Nothing is free.
A price for a crown, flesh for a sin, a soul for glory.
All for the thrill of a dance with the devil.

Shake his hand and become his favorite pawn.
Kiss his feet and watch yourself rise beyond limits.
The world is not fair, I’m sure you know, oh my,
Turn up the music; dance with the devil.

You may think I’m bad, or either I’m just mad.
The truth is clear, you just haven’t seen it yet.
One step with the devil, and your fate is set
I’ll dance with the devil, no shame, no regret.
Every desire has its price. Every step in the dance pulls you deeper. Would you take the devil’s hand if he promised you the world?

This piece is about temptation, ambition, and the bargains we make with ourselves. Sometimes the dance feels worth it… until the music stops. We all dance with our own devils  some call it ambition, some call it desire, some call it madness. Not every waltz is innocent. Not every partner wears wings. This is my ‘Dance with the Devil.’

So tell me… what’s your devil?

When you stand,
stand on solid ground

When you run,
place your feet with care.

But when you dance,
step out on the sprung floor
and tread the air.
I wasnt ready for my first experience of a sprung floor - no one warned me of the magic.

Petals in the breeze,
Whispers of colors dance bright,
Nature's soft embrace.
wrote this while I was at a park
yesterday
i took part in
a latvian wedding
even though
i had no idea
what i was doing;
we formed a circle
with burning torches
and sang and chanted
and screamed
performing rituals
that the fathers
of their fathers
once performed

i was told that
the male guests
had given the groom
the strength of a bear
while the bride
was given wisdom
and encouragement
for the years to come
the bride and groom
were then bound
with symbolic chord
blessings and song
joining them together
by hand and heart

without being able
to speak the language
i had to guess or
discreetly ask
for explanations
from other guests
to understand
the significance
of each part;
watching the bride
and groom however
it was clear immediately
their love needed

Dancing in the spotlight
Was how I envisioned our love,
Forgetting the steps didn't feel right
So I put you above.

I let myself fall,
Just for you to have it all..
So I had to let myself think
Right step, left step,
Couldn't even get the time to blink
Let alone try to accept
That our dance was rhythmless.

Guess I could say that I got lost
Through all the steps that I was taught,
And all the promises you made
Left me wondering if our dance will slowly fade.

The trainer said "let's not give up"
But my mind would get disrupt,
And flood me all about this thinking
That our dance should just keep shrinking.

So now I come here, just to ask
Was this dance used like a mask?
Just to cover all the mess-
Should I have asked for something less ?
Would I be happier? Would it be better?
If we didn't do the dance together,
Cause I'm sitting here, and I don't know
If it's worth continuing the show..
