So, I asked about fairy wings
when I was 11;
   you never delivered.
In case you want to make up for me,
I will be just fine
with a true lover instead.
That should be easier.
Isn't it?

Peculiar Dec 2020
The Succulent Turkey drew my attention,
Beckoning me with its plump figure
How could i resist its alluring whispers?

Nay! I become familiar with my triggers

For its piquant facade
May curse my wild tongue
In a state like a drunk

Cease this at once! I must sway towards reason

Yet i overhear the others consume the dead brute
Munching on its Crisp outer skin,
while sipping on fresh gin

O, how plush the meat is! My body trembles

Woe to my eyes! Hail my sense
As its aroma tempts my stomach into hysteria
Breaking my barriers!

Halt! I cannot control myself!

My hand hovers above the Corpse
Yes, It is a feast in the name of Jesus,
its point to please us
However i cannot continue
to over-indulge, i must flee!

My reasoning for this,
some may comprehend

I confess to the lord i am gluttonous
Everyday I struggle to cope with my habits
Every swallow of good shoves the melancholy down
temporarily,
Thus, the cycle continues.

I witness this day as the birth of Jesus Christ
Yet this celebration
I musn't take part in.

Boo
"Hey boo its festive season"
"Cmon just a day"
"I count on it though"
"Mercy please"
"Okay fine"
Guess its my turn to stop
Being a constant knock
On an abandoned
House.
Learning
Reindeers flying in the skies
Carols floating in the atmosphere
The Christmas tree is shining with presents at it's feet
The kids are waiting for a knock at door
** ** **
It's Christmas
Merry Christmas everyone

Thank Goodness Santa was exempted
From Covid Travel Rules,
So he could go and deliver
All those presents and shimmering jewels.
My great nephew and niece all smiles:
Look at their happy faces.
Santa did all those miles
And got to so, so many places.

He even brought me mine
Disguised as mail delivery.
Giving his reindeers time
To rest, for a while,
In their Lapland livery.

Top of the Pops at noon.
It was on so very soon.
Some nice tunes and jingles
Like a box full of Pringles.

Not quite Rock and Roll,
But still a hint of Soul.
Meaningful lyrics
And some atmospherics.

The Queen gave us Hope
With her speech at three.
No time to mope
Here in the land of the Free.

Trust you all enjoyed this festive day some way.
And let us all pray
That things get better
From New Year’s Day.

It’s time to conquer Covid:
About time I hear you shout.
It’s DNA decoded,
Vaccinations all about.

So twenty-twenty-one
Is coming very soon.
When this year is all done,
Let’s fly up to the moon.

Let’s fill the world with Love,
Holding hands again.
Goodbye to twenty-twenty,
Goodbye to all the pain.

Only a matter of when.” ).

One last time
The stage is mine
The Media's stunned
That deal now canned.

What were they thinking
With clearly no inkling
I'd throw in a wrench
And create such a stench.

Congress in tatters
The Senate all flutters
Biden in hiding
With me still presiding.

As to those in the country
Needing such bounty
In my own time
I may give them a dime.

Some might well suffer
Just makes them far tougher
Christmas or not
I won't be forgot.

Bottom line folks
And this isn't a hoax
They robbed me this time
But the country's still mine

What's a few years
Watching Biden in tears
I'll show that has-been
By getting back in!

Being in love with someone
who's in love with someone else
and it's Christmas
...
the best time of the year
nightmare looks alike

unremarkable,
what a way to pass days
I have made no marks
to remember me by
And at nights, as I lie awake
I dream about how different
it could have been
if only if I was seen
with twinkles and gleam
but as the snow gathered
I slipped away
in the warmth I've known
in the bed I've grown,
I lie awake still
It is long night ahead
a merry christmas to you.
