The boy started to play the piano
As his melody resounds,
I saw the sunflowers filled the stage,
An illusion.

When his fingers push the keys
I feel his hands
holding my heart
crushing it with his music.

But you suddenly disappeared,
like how you left the piano
in the lonely stage,
leaving me in pain.

I waited for you
wishing to hear you play again,
To touch the piano keys,
To hold my heart.

Years passed,
you came back
walking in the old stage
and I'm here again, admiring you.

The boy turned into a fine man
He starts to play the piano
Cherry blossoms filled the stage
Another illusion.

From the dazzling flower
with bright yellow petals
to an occasional blossom
with light, soft color.

Your music changed
You've changed
But one thing hasn't,
my love.
In the eyes of Emi Igawa, to Arima Kousei. Inspired by their story from Your Lie in April.

falling and constant,
one window purple with feeling,
the other dark and lifeless;
do your branches creak in the same wind?
will the feathers and flowers that you blew into the morning
ever find a home?

With sparks in his eyes,
And his sight fierce as a tiger,
The warrior can finally relax,
After strife as ripe as thunder.

His mind endlessly rewinds,
Images of his beautiful sword play,
That come as fast,
As cherry blossoms like to end.

He is not happy nor sad,
Or at least, that's what he would say,
But despite his injuries,
He can fight another day.

He can't tell when his end will come,
Cherry blossoms wash away his worries,
With an endless cup of wine in his hands,
He waits for his well earned glory.

When they’re up and thriving
They’re beautiful, bringing life to the area

The second they fall
They’re worth nothing, a nuisance **** to a wet shoe

Clean, fresh, pink- called the prettiest things
Get stained, damaged- ugly, ruined, awful

Fluttering in a sunlit breeze- the perfect picture
Thrashing in a raging storm- disgusting, stupid

Funny how things change
Never funny why

Giggling blossoms
Pink and sweet and white and pure
Rain petals of love

Cherry blossoms fall
Drifting towards my cold heart
Melting my sorrows

From pain comes growth
and brings beauty in the end
.
From fire comes regrowth
And blossoms are beautiful

Blossoms fall from air
Each one a dying sunrise
Is the world ending?
Let's just say it's an acquired taste.

Cherry blossoms bloom
While the petals of time fly
They’re drifting on by
Well, technically these should be unrhymed lines but I’m exercising my poetic license today. I'm probably breaking all sorts of other rules in the process.

Sweet nectar inside
Hummingbirds know what they like and are very good at getting it. It takes a lot of flowers to feed a hummingbird and it’s a fascinating thing to observe.
