yesterday with you in
March, the cherry
blossoms - please
don't miss the little
flowers in your
search for a more
giving thing because
my sweetest love,
there is none. only
the children know
this, but I think
we are all children
after the rain.

As I kiss and
Cuddle you our
Love blossoms
Into true
Love
Feeling
Passionate love
Together
Forever
We shall
Be deeply
Truly in passionate
Love forever.

Love Blossoms
Grace Elizabeth Apr 2016
pink and white petals
surrender to the wind;
a shower of spring
their perfume surrounds us.

they fall like snowflakes,
clutching her wispy tendrils.
hands outstretched, she giggles;
a new sight for her wide blue eyes.

*She wears them like a crown
My princess with flowers in her hair
Blossoms are the
Hopes and dreams
Attached to the thorny
Stems of life
We all have to climb
To smell the roses

Cherry blossoms fall
Scattering petals across the pond
They drift a little,
Spin a little,
Land and correct course
Setting sail with the wind.

A girl and a boy meet
At a club
Dancing all night
Whilst the cherry blossoms fall
And sail under the moon

They cross the bridge near the pond
Watch as the petals fall
A foreshadowing from nature
So obvious, if you know where to look

But they were blind.

They grew up together,
Married at the age of 27
As the petals scattered.

Years down the track...

A drunken man, a ******* girl
A divorce so imminent
The tears fall as the anger rages
The petals the only evidence.

That something, some force knew,
They were never meant to be

And they turn their backs and set sail
As the wind continues to blow
On opposite paths they will walk
And the petals fall under the moonlit glow

rakishly upon a
platinum blonde head
of close cropped spines

sun glints in her curls

Mammalaria are cacti.
They grow in little clumps
which look like heads, or *******.
Hence the name.
My father has several.
When this poem was written
one of them was blooming.
As it is now.
It looks for all the world like
a blonde head with a
garland set at an angle upon it!
So I decided to repost this.

Cherry blossoms,
Against skin so fair,
Pink like blushing lovers cheeks,
But only half as rare.

I call myself a bell-flower,
as you cannot hear my tremulous chime
and I am decorated in purple and blue blossoms
on the only home that holds me tight
though I still want to crawl out of it
and grow up in someone else’s
