I want nothing more than to touch your heart, but I will never reach for it.

Instead I will build it a sanctuary.
Sacred grounds where none else shall enter - a home of its own.
Where ivy climbs columns, reaching toward the fountains overflowing with love - radiating with purity, honesty and compassion.
With a place to lay your head, and let all worries slip away, to be carried off by songbirds which sing your favorite tune.
Where every plant as you pass by, has flowers dramatically bloom.
For this space, as well as I, would do anything, for you.

Get a clue,
I wanna get with you,
I have a strong intuition,
that you are feeling the
same way too, but
you won't step to me,
however, I won't front,
do you wanna get with me,
or I'm not what you want???
I see you checkin,
trying to scope me out,
I got you at full attention,
trying to see what
I am all about, but
Now that, I GOTS YOU, and
It's clear and plain to see,
You're hesitant about approaching,
So, What's it gonna be???
You know that, I SEE YOU!! and
all of your clever ways,
Your swag and your demeanor,
have me hooked on you for days,
So, Instead of me just sitting here,
feeling all sad and all blue,
Are you feeling what I'm feeling???
I'd just wished that you'd get a clue

A view in sight
Appreciated in mind
Whole view, take in the whole picture
White shoes, takes you wherever
Come closer, I beg to differ
But I'm convinced, weak willed
Poetry I make
What difference does it make
The board that you revolve around
Stuck like a kid confused
Wondered I am
Amazed of what I see
A stare only I can be
Will you ever get to see?

You were like the moon to me,
Always far from my reach
Only to be adored by my sight.
Always hoped you for mine to be
Even prayed for you with all my might.

Always craved to get a glimpse of you
Always felt captivated by the light of you
Without you I felt like I lost my light
As you were the one to light my dark pit of sorrow

You made me want to reach the height
You were the one I didn’t want anyone to borrow
For you were the one without whom my sky felt hollow

I liked the phases you displayed
Even liked the spots you had
For they showed the beauty of being tainted
Just wanting to hold you made me glad
Yet beyond my reach
Only to be adored by my sight.

As I ponder, sweetly mused,
your grace against the breeze,

I cower at the frightful task
of earning but a please.

Your humble smile, your giddy laugh,
of which I must appease,

I sink into my sullen soul,
unable to unfreeze.

For with this heart, I cannot pledge
to you your beauty’s ease.
