Emma
You know that I can't say to you
the words I know you want me to
If you won't explain to me
Just how about you came to be
The person you have turned into
Who doesn't look a thing like you
when i say "you" what i mean
is the person i have always seen
until the day you turned into
the person who's no longer you
the person i no longer see
where I expect the old you to be
where did you go, what did you do
to change suddenly, through and through

It doesn't make much sense does it?

Maybe from this you can learn to see
how it'd feel, how it'd be
if I were you
and you were me

Mirabai
Drink the nectar of the Divine Name, O human! Drink the nectar of the Divine Name!
Leave the bad company, always sit among righteous company. Hearken to the mention of God (for your own sake).
Concupiscence, anger, pride, greed, attachment: wash these out of your consciousness.
Mira's Lord is the Mountain-Holder, the suave lover. Soak yourself in the dye of His colour.

Another time shortly fallen.
Another sun on the horizon.
Light slowly condensing
Into something larger than itself.

After a moment,
The halt of a heart,
The break of a breath,
Barely becoming an obstacle.
Unintentionally, I lift
Another moment into the air
And sigh.

Twelve seconds subsequent,
This follows:
Shuttered windows
Across the courtyard
Stars staring down
More than consistency:
Cessation of infinity
Until I part.

Wardah
Far below,
Swathed in mist,
A memory forlorn
Rekindled the glow.
A face swept past
A fleeting laugh
A glimpse, amongst the vapours,
A smile between the fog.
The thumping sound
A crash, unseen
A fall, unheard
A chaos, inbetween.
The periwinkle sky,
The golden rays,
A painted dream,
Of desires, ablaze.
Swirls of colours,
Whorls of fate,
Entwined destinies
A wish to make?
A sudden knock
On doors long locked
An awaited answer
A question never asked?
The cherished memory.
A moment's life
An everlasting joy
Of a short lived dive.
How heavy the days are.
There's not a fire that can warm me,
Not a sun to laugh with me,
Everything bare,
Everything cold and merciless,
And even the beloved, clear
Stars look desolately down,
Since I learned in my heart that
Love can die.
Noise, Noise, Noise, Noise, Noise
That's all I hear
Drowning out the choruses
And the sweet melodies
The verses are distorted
And the poetry ignored
I don't see how people get by
With all of this Noise, Noise, Noise
i took my first love down to strawberry hill,
the only place i knew how to be free,
only kids were we,
i kissed her and she kissed me
right there among the strawberries,
but when i asked how long we would be
she said nothing to me
two days later she left me,
and the strawberries beneath my feet
lay cold in the breeze

15 my heart was afluttering,
and i took my love down to violet hill
there we sat in the summer heat,
i asked just how long we would be,
she sat as silent as a tree
three days later she let me go,
and i sat staring at the dead berries
that lay buried in front of me

23 i thought i had found she,
the girl who would always love me,
but i got down on my knees
and she said no to me,
i didn't say anything,
just watched the strawberries beside me
wither and bleed, no longer living

when you came to me
the strawberry hill no longer
carried its name,
my heart beseeched me
to revisit once in my lonely life,
i told you my story of the strawberry hill
and the heartbreak that had happened here,
you sat the, silent still, and once done
you said to me,
"darling this hill belongs to we,
i shall not leave you until life lets me sleep,
and even then this hill is where you will find me"

now i stand on strawberry hill,
life breathed back by your love,
you lay beneath your strawberries,
waiting to greet me
a remake of an old poem that was my best. this is really just **** compared to it
Perhaps you've heard, of this Jesus I know,
By whom I do live now joyfully so.
Maybe you've heard, great things he has done,
In this war for your soul, already won,
If only you turn from your life of sin
And learn from the Truth we all hold within,
That the Lord, He is God Most High
And His Word is what all men should live by.
Tearing at my heart
biting wind of your farewell
when will you return?

You see what you've done?
Why do you pull me apart?
ripping at the seams

It seems that you can
Read me like an open book
are you confused now?
the tunic slid down off her
          supple *******, the milk
and honey of my hungry eyes, slow flutter-
          -by like butterfly kisses,
eyelashes on my heart's now fevered skin,
for skin, yea, all i'd give,
to touch smooth porcelain-like
          vase, or marble Venus, statue-
-esque I stand, attentive now she covers-
-up, i too take cover, diverting
eyes, in opposite directions carrying
the weight of just one moment
