There once was a mime
Who committed a crime
He spoke just one time

But people out for a walk
They heard him talk
Down by the corn stalk

Then the mayor said
We will make him dead
Off with his head

He ran as fast as he could
The mime knew he would
Be killed if he should

He came across a fairy
Her name was Little Mary
She smelt of strawberry

Silently, he started to cry
The fairy wondered why
People wanted him to die

She took his hand
But he could understand
It was time for another land

The mime was never found
For he lives under the ground
Where he never makes a sound

The Red—Blaze—is the Morning—
The Violet—is Noon—
The Yellow—Day—is falling—
And after that—is none—

But Miles of Sparks—at Evening—
Reveal the Width that burned—
The Territory Argent—that
Never yet—consumed—

No one can change
No one can delay
Our own destiny
We are given options
Choosing is what we have
Whatever you choose it leads
Finally to designed destiny
Crying baby talks
Crawling baby walks
Eventually
Baby becomes adult
So nothing can stop
Nothing can restrain
we are just following
Destiny d for Destiny

We’ll Write a New Idyll This Year

The old order changeth, yielding place to new,
And God fulfils himself in many ways

-Idylls of the King, “The Passing of Arthur,” 8-9

Janus faces both ways, and so do we
A last, lingering look at the year that was
And then a turn to the year we must meet
Marching to it through Janus Pater’s doors

We will most remember about the past
Our friends whose pilgrimages came to their ends
We joy in the remembrance of their happiness
Their stories and songs, their unfailing kindness

Janus faces both ways, and so do we;
But now our friends, our happy friends, they see
Light

And the new sun rose bringing the new year

-Idylls, “The Passing of Arthur,” 469

Trying not to stress
Heart begins to race
Shortness of breath
Tragic thoughts replay
Reliving the moment
Sent away no going back
Avoiding disrespectful people
Intruding spaces provoking
Prefer to be alone to write
Mean mugging faces go away

Welcome to the chamber
where I place all of my anger,
a place where you’ll find danger
if you try to hurt a stranger.

Welcome to the bathroom
that you see in the back room
where the **** rises high
and stinks up the night,
where the pigs own the sty
and the stench brings
tears to my eyes.

Welcome to the ending
of yesterday’s beginning.
Now, face the shadows blending
as prism prisons starts light’s bending,
where darkness does conform
to the wicked arts the corrupt perform,
but dragons still the rule the castles
that knightly fellows refuse to storm.

Welcome to my frustration.
It’s been brewing for a while
and all that boils in the pots
has stolen swollen smiles
and replaced happy faces
with clenched jaws
of undealt with rages.

The ***** water ripples,
and darkens
as grey clouds of diffusion
are cleaned from the brush.

Paints put away
the artist changes his pace
as the pointed quill
is dipped in,
and pulled from
the ornate glass vessel.

Deep dreams are drawn
as parchment feels the imprint
of this writer’s full intent.

Reality unfolds transcendent
as all dreams and philosophies
are finally released on these
small scraps of transient things.

A storm passed through my city yesterday
The leaves rustled.. Strong winds blew
Thunder.. Lightning.. Heavy rain
Some neighborhoods were plunged in darkness
I could hear the sound of the wind..like an outburst of rage
I woke up this morning and stepped out of my house to be greeted by a carpet of flowers and leaves
The sight was a visual delight...
I marvelled at the colours scattered all across the road
But at the same time I was sad that the trees had been separated from their offsprings
In an instant the trees were robbed of their precious ones...
And I had been robbed of my view of the greens
