We still have a boundary, of the color line.  It's always before us, weighing heavily on our minds.
We have come such a long way, to bring all types of people as one.  Since prejudice still exist, have anything been done?
We need to draw the line, and refuse to continue racism.  In our life we need to get rid of, all types of ism.
We need to come together in unity, to ignore the color of one another's skin.  This can only be done, as peace is embedded within.
We have been created, by Majestic Hands.  In a world filled with beautiful colors, to be united by love.

What if people had a year of unity and not violence, each and everyday?  Better yet, why not have it eliminated, removing it, far out the way?
What if people came together in unity, and not violence aiming to fight?  Why can't they all make up their minds, only to do what's right?
What if people made a decision, to help clean up our land?  This can began to come about, by joining hand in hand.
What if people helped, to get rid of every gun?  Allowing the world to know this is nothing fun.
We need to put thumbs down for violence, and let unity prevail.  God can bring this about, so we don't end up in jail

This time around, will you do something new?  Will you try to be better, in all you say and do?
This time around, will people be treated with respect?  Will you refrain from getting angry, getting people upset?
This time around, will you take care of the poor?  Will you provide a contribution, when they knock on your door?
This time around, will you share your smile?  Will you go out your way, to go the extra mile?
This time around, will you show that you care?  If someone really needed you, will you try to be there?
This time around, will you be determined to change?  At the end of the year, would you have lived up to your name?

Why are you not grateful, for all the gifts you received?  People had a hard time finding them, it was not done with ease.
Why are you not grateful, for all the gifts you have in your home?  You seem so eager to exchange them, until every last one is gone.
Why are you not grateful, with the gifts sitting over there in a stack?  You are really thinking about, taking all of them back.
Why are you not grateful, it seem you have so much?  Yet, you are so selfish, daring anyone to touch.
Why are you not grateful, you couldn't have any gifts at all?  Because of feeling bad, you wouldn't be able to walk tall.
You need to learn to be grateful, and thankful in all you get.  When you decide to do so, you want easily get upset.

To those who have children, you can have much joy.  It could be a precious girl, it could be a respectful boy.
To those who have children, enjoy them while you can.  Before you even know it, they'll be a grown woman, and a grown man.
To those who have children, refrain from any abuse.  Once they come of age, then  they'll be of great use.
To those who have children, show love and not hate.  To do this after they are grown, just may be too late.
To those who have children, allow them to reflect you.  Therefore, you have to be careful, in all you say do.

Now that it is Christmas, are you showing your gratitude?  Or, do you have your lips stuck out, acting very rude?
Now that it is Christmas, tell me how did you act?  Did you make nasty comments, behind one another's back?
Now that it is Christmas, did you remember the poor?  Or, did you have empty hands, going out the door?
Now that it is Christmas, did you fuss and fight?  Did you punch someone in the eye, leaving him without sight?
Now that it is Christmas, did Peace prevail in your home?  Or, did you leave someone in the corner, sitting all alone?
Now that it is Christmas, did you remember what it was all about?  It is the Birthday of Jesus, I'm sure you have no doubt.

I'm someone's Mom and Sister too.  It takes only my husband, to call me "Boo."
I'm someone's Mom and Sister too.  If you really want me to speak, please give me a clue.
I'm someone's Mom and Sister too.  Whenever you 're around me, watch what you do.
I'm someone's Mom and Sister too.  Once a year I may have a virus, or symptoms of the flu.
I'm someone's Mom and Sister too.  I'm familiar with the old, may we try something new.
I'm someone's Mom and Sister too.  At Sundays Church you can find me, sitting on the third pew.
I'm someone's Mom and Sister too.  I have been told I make the best *** of stew.
I'm someone's Mom and Sister too.  Since I patiently listened to you, take time out, to hear my point of view.
