Please don't let the shooting that's been going on, become some type of trend.  Something need to quickly be done; the shooting has to end.
You hear about shooting in the morning, then again at noon.  You hear about shooting in the evening, something has to be done soon.
If the younger generation is wiped out, until all of them is dead, who would be around in the home, to be the family's head?
If all the Police Officers are killed, who's going to "Protect and Serve"?  All that is taken place today, is like something we never heard.

On the News today they said, "Guns are being smuggled on the Plane, flying through the air.  This have been going on for five years, in compartments over people's chairs.
They did not report on the smaller guns, but the ones that makes huge holes  They were placed over people's head, right under their nose.  
Imagine people taking a trip, on a nearby flight.  I'm sure the trip would get canceled, if they only knew what was in sight.
I know we are not safe on the ground with cars running out of control.  To smuggle guns in the air, they have to be very bold.

Since I was born on New Year's Day, this is something I hold so high.  It's a blessing to be here, one time I thought I would die.
I count my Birthday very special, all because I was born, on the first day of the year.  At a young age I told everyone, as a child I had no fear.
This Birthday is coming soon, I hope this will be the best Birthday ever!  To say that it want, I will never!
May my Birthday poem be read, throughout every land.  I want to encourage everyone, for Justice always take a stand.

Let's forget the old year, something from our past.  Let's bring in the New Year with everything that will last.

Let's forget the old year, bringing something new to the table.  You can be top of the line, all because everything is stable.
Let's forget the old year, go after the vision ahead.  Remember to follow your leaders, as you are being lead.
Let's forget the old year, refuse to let things be the same.  Build up your self esteem, to go along with your precious name.

If you live to see the New Year, what are your plans?  Are you going to be your best, and be all you can?
If you live to see the New Year, will you make a drastic change?  If you mean serious business, I'm sure this can be arranged.
If you live to see the New Year, have you planned something new?  Are you planning to give your all, and do all you can do?
If you live to see the New Year, are you planning on helping mankind?  Or, is this ideal something, far from your mind?
If you live to see the New Year, will we see a new attitude?  Or, will you continue to act mean, and continue acting rude.
If you live to see the New Year, will you gain more respect?  Or, will you remain in your old ways, constantly getting upset?

I got what I wanted, and that gift is you.  If I didn't have you around, tell me what would I do?
I got what I wanted, It's good not being bound.  To spend one day without you, my spirit would be down,
I got what I wanted, I thank God I can see.  Just to have seeing eyes, it's  a pleasant way to be.
I got what I wanted, I'm   able to hear.  God brought me safely this far, it's now the end of the year.
I got what I wanted, I still have a voice to speak.  Just to be able to talk, there is nothing else I seek.
I got what I wanted, I can plainly walk.  When I stood to take a step, I almost fell, my back was the fault.
To have a healthy body, means more to me than having material gifts.  Then I'll be able to help others, so I can give them a lift.

You can do nothing, when you're out on your own.  It takes the Almighty God, to allow you to make it home.
You can do nothing, when you think you have it all in control.  Only God has power to handle it, only God is bold.
You can do nothing, when your eyes are dim.  You need to take the hands of God, so you can follow Him.
You can do nothing, when you think you have it made.  It takes a Holy God, who is able to save.
You can do nothing, when it comes to using your mind.  It takes a powerful God, to keep everything in line.
You can do nothing, when you think you are God.  In order to put  you on the right road, He may have to use His rod.
