Silently
   She built a wall
Silently
   Because it was
Too hard to explain why

Silently
   She built a wall
Stepped behind
   To hide her self
No one could hurt her now

Silently
   She hid her pain
Silently
   She let none near
The wall was not enough

Silently
    She built more walls
Silently
   She made a fort
Encompassed by her walls

The walls let
   No Light inside
The Silence
   Became a tomb
Her heart became a stone
My sanity comes in doses
Small capsules
Confined within a capped bottle
Until it's opened
And is all spilled out

"Turn your back on what doesn't keep you moving forward."
A quote i made as a title for a photo my friend took of me.

jazzy
she was broken
used and thrown away
her words were left unspoken
there was nothing left to say

she was broken
her heart beginning to decay
this isn't the life she had chosen
but she had to live it every single day.
Sometimes,
ice           can
feel            so
cold         that
it   seems   hot

So I said I'm looking for the answers, I'm looking for a sign,
But I should be looking elsewhere
'Cause the answers I can't seem to find.
I'm searching for some guidance,
I'm searching for a prayer;
Somebody who can help me,
Somebody to get me there.
God & myself, my only chance at hope;
God & myself, my only ways to cope.
I'm looking for an answer, I said I'm looking for a sign,
But the only real place I should be looking is inside.
