As I sat down to write something,
the doorbell rang.
It was a partial ring.
As if not fully pushed is what I mean.

My eyes averted left,
where I saw a boy run.
Green shirt,
very fast, dark like me.
Not lucky for him,
I had just cleaned my windows.

Inside I laughed. My face showed it.
Refusing to run after.
He's a kid.
I'm old.
And I wasn't properly dressed.
So inappropriate.
Oh yes!
That's why I didn't retrieve him just then.

I did catch up to him moments later.
He was so shaken.
To be brief, the boy left
in laughter.
I was not mad with him.
I was puzzled.
Sat thinking, I thought doorbell ditching was a thing of the past.
I was almost honored.
I will probably never see him again.

Among'st a non-judging expanse,
Creative clouds dance.

Through fields one might prance,
Find a tree and sit
Or take a different stance.

See it fully or just give a glance~

The clouds, they form in multiplicities,
Reflecting simplicity;
Expanding creative form explicitly.

What'll it be?
How'll it grow?

Beautiful sky of freedom's form,
Modify your figure and break the norm.
Show me what never dies and is forever born~!

And reveal to us in time what is on the inside,
Usually hidden when worn.

I saw this in the clouds today, when I was bored..

I didn't tell you about the life I led
The number of times I bled
I didn't show you the chapters I read
I wanted not pity to be the reason you stayed
I didn't show you the towns I've been through
I didn't want you to partake of the melancholy they brew
Didn't speak about how I fed on tough times till I grew
I regret never letting you in, you don't have to believe it's true
I didn't want to tell a single lie or see you cry
I didn't want to fail that's why I didn't try
All moments I was close enough to feel your sigh
When you helped me with my collar and tie
I didn't speak about how much I wanted your lips
Wish I had trusted my pips with their cunning tips
I didn't let the skeletons out of the closet for fears
They would hurt you and flood your eyes and heart in tears
