With God, we're always at home,
In a sacred space, no one is alone,
Jesus calling on a divine telephone,
In quiet stillness, we're always at home,
From Faith, let us never roam,
Unconditional love, for all who seek,
Even when we turn away, we can regain peace,
In a sacred space, no one is alone,
With God, we're always at home.
Feedback welcome.

Here is my home, swell,
It is where  I do dwell,
I fit into this 'burb real well,
In summer, hot as hell,
I sit here with my coffee,
To gaze at society,
You do appear strange to me,
Want to know what I think about thee?
My home is here, all is well,
I fit into my little town real swell!
My little town,  a blithering suburb. Feedback welcome.

History of the homeless,
Society does not bless,
So unlike birds homeless,
Flying afar and so free,
Nestling into any tree,
Waking up so chirpy.
Not like humans homeless,
Society does not bless,
All these homeless young,
Did they get enough hugs?
Or was it too many drugs?
Or ****** abuse of their youth?
What's the history of the homeless--
Society does not always bless.......

Welcome to Home School today,
A typical mum might say,
We''ll start with Maths, okay,
First,  I have an empty glass,
There is 0 wine here for a blast,
Then I'll pour in half,
Before I top it up,
Now I have 1 whole wine to sup,
Home School does need wine o'clock,
For mums, not kids, quite a shock,
Stop laughing at Mum, okay,
She flunked Maths too, along the way,
Some Mums are not teachers, okay,
Now who farted? She's say,
End of home school for the day!
Feedback welcome.

Away from home,
I don't like to roam,
I like my bed,
Clean sheets yet,
Enough said,
Plumbing I like,
Not camping hikes,
Especially when it's hot,
Over that I've got,
Do like my internet,
Does this ******* hitech savvy get?
No, I don't like to roam
Away from home, sweet, home.
Feedback welcome.

Let's whinge about homework,
Always a fuss, that's what it's worth,
I am sure in the Year 9000 AD,
Teens shall whinge about it to me,
Or even little chicks and dudes,
Who gives them homework after school?
"Only a challenge!" old chalkies say,
I've heard their moans many a day,
Always a fuss, or non-compliance,
Maybe a non-homework alliance,
Yes, I've heard all the whinges today,
Whinging's fun, I always say,
Moan, moan, homework works both ways,
Let's all whinge about homework today!
(Some teacher has to correct it! Feedback welcome. All part of the system.

Here's some homework howlers,
By hilarious pupil terrors,
"An octopus has eight testicles."
Did I read that with my spectacles?
"Mozart sailed to Vietnam." For how long?
Why is there a clavichord in the Mekong?
"Rome is now in Africa." Do tell,
Didn't you learn map-reading too well?
"Mummy and Daddy's fave place is bed."
Do your parents really want this read?
Are these mud-coloured glasses, or what?
How did I survive teaching this lot?
It's hard to take them too serious,
Homework howlers, hilarious!

Is honesty the best policy,
In our global society?
A world full of all these isms,
Who does fund terrorism?
Bombs and guns of destruction,
Is this our civilization?
We're only specks of humanity,
Worldwide hypocrisy,
Is honesty the best policy?
Hopeful mood.
Enlightens soul food,
God's love cued.

Hope is what we feel,
Creates our even keel,
Hope makes our smiles aglow,
Here on golden plateau,
Source--faith in Our Lord,
Wake up blessed, still awed!

I cast your horoscope across the miles,
Star gazing does take a while,
I see your astral alignment,
Hugs and kisses in your consignment,
A golden age for you of peace,
Forever in your  heart to keep,
Health, wealth, and great happiness,
Your stars are giving you a bless,
Enjoy each day as it comes,
Fill your days with your kind of fun,
So, this was my day's assignment,
To predict your star's alignment,
Now I've cast your horoscope across the miles,
This star-gazing does take a while.

Oh, great horsemother in the sky,
Here is a question from a bard such as I,
Are you shooting a racing vet today?
Another horse was destroyed for gain,
This is, of course,
A personal hobby horse,
If a horse gallops anyway,
Why are you whipping them this way?
This is the sport of kings, you see,
Death for a horse, if not its jockey,
Sounds to me like animal cruelty,
Racegoers turn the other way,
Drink some more best champagne,
This is question, better yet,
Does horsemother ever shoot the vet?
We lost another beautiful thoroughbred today, shot by  the racing industry.

HOT WHEELS.
I went from broke to buying a Lamborghini,
Price tag not so teeny,
Sleek and black, for my driving academy,
Or should  I buy the red Ferrari?
Command a salesman to "comprare"?
Wouldn't he be a happy chappy?
But would it make me happy?
I could be buying loads of stuff,
But when you're old, you've got enough!
To me, consumerism is in vain,
My peaceful simple life in the slow lane.
So, today I did not buy the red Ferrari,
Or indeed the sleek Lamborghini,
There was no Hot Wheels Driving School,
Consumerism as a manipulative tool.
Bit of harmless fun!

It's housework time again,
Should I hit the gin?
Time to vac.,
More dust in the sack,
Whoops, missed a bit,
This vac gives me the blip,
Now it's time for teacups,
Job done, ****** it up!

I turn the pages of this magazine,
Ah, a "Family Circle" to be seen,
Perfect pictures, like beauty queens,
Is there a real family like the magazines?
Every one I know has some dysfunction,
Twisted nuclear folk, crossing at junctions,
Is this magazine fact or fictional?"
All I think is, "Glossy dysfunctional"........

A verse from an ******* girl,
How not to save the world,
We all know the answers to this,
Industry leaders give it a miss,
The finance sector us to hector,
Is our nation to be beggars?
Division between the plebs, not grots,
Too much 'have' and 'have not',
We all know how not to save the world,
Verse to read from an ******* girl....

How shall I survive this thought train?
I did not get to the Paris Fashion Show again,
Now  I can't compete with Kim Kardashian,
A big blow to my self-esteem,
Not worthy of fashion, I am deemed,
No couture in Paris for me,
I'm not exactly snivelling, you see,
Is there any other news on TV?
So, did not go to Paris Fashion again
Don't even want to compete with Kim Kardashian!!!!
How do I survive this thought train?

Aren't the media sincere?

Phony crocodile tears,
Really, really sincere,
Guess that's the media, dears!

How to be a Happy Camper, dears,
Wake up smiling, we woke up, cheers!
Positive approach to daily life here,
Whatever happens, don't stress, dears,
Looking forward to a peaceful day,
No dumb arguments for a blessed way,
Say never mind, blip happens, dears,
Smile and walk away, no tears,
It ain't Armageddon yet, dears,
At least we woke up here,
How to be a Happy Camper, cheers!

Here I write some recipes,
From our anti--football league,
How to cook a football totally,
Must boil it for twelve hours, ritually,
Then you can dice it and fricassee,
Or maybe bake, broil, and grill,
What won't fatten, shall fill,
Or you can make mini-football custard, eh,
Chocolate footballs in a bowl, let's say,
We call it Footy Iles Flotante,
Star sweet in the anti-football restaurant!
Then a recipe for Grand Final Day, swell,
It's called footy Croquembouche Noel!
Hear the anti-footballers yell!
You, too, can write recipes,
For the Anti-football Society,
It's like dining at the Waldorf Astoria,
Anti-football recipes from Melbourne, Victoria!

Wifey flings open bedroom door,
Not gazing kindly, a picture she draws,
Wife blows her nose, her cheeks are a'rose,
Her husband lies there, full of moans,
Her husband begs,
Wifey  takes a breath,
"Yes, dear, I know you have a man-cold,
But, dear, I,  too, have a man-cold,
But women are not allowed to groan
or nag, says men, you are alone,
I, too, have a man-cold,
But, this washing is getting old,
I'm cooking tea and minding the kids,
No, dear,  I shan't make soup like your mother did,
Yes, dear, the undertakers are near,
Here's your last will for your man cold, dear,
Yes, dear, I know you have a man-cold,
Your whinging, is, like, well, old!
I have to iron your shirts now,
Yes, dear, I know I am a fat old cow,
But, dear, I have your ***** in my purse,
I do hope our man colds don't get worse!"

How would you sell a million books,
Here's a verse that's worth a look,
You'd have to have a gimmick,
Something to make readers tick,
Like fantasy and magic,
Or suspense and thrillers,
Or horrors to give us chillers,
You tell me, I'll take a look,
How would you sell a million books?

In our world technological,
Here's how to talk to gadgets digital,
"Now, listen up, keyboard and router,
Not to mention dysfunctional mouser...
Are you listening to me carefully?
(I am talking to them, but silently),
I do have replacements for each of thee,
I see a future ahead of you three,
Tossed into the gaping jaws of a bin,
off to the council tip, repository of sin,
Did you hear that? Listening in,
Stop trying to do my head in!"
Now they're behaving dutifully,
Technology responding beautifully,
"I'm warning each one of thee,
No more messing around with me!"
Yes, how to talk to technology!
(But make sure you do it silently!)
A whimsy. Feedback welcome.
Is this shared imagination?
Thoughts of you, temptation,
Love is our human condition,
Smiles or hell, fun or perdition,
Cupid fired-such precision,
Romance is not a decision,
Stay in love, enduring charms,
Dreaming bliss in your arms,
Trust the magic, my advice,
Loving you, don't think twice,
Bless all our pleasure,
Today we shall always treasure!

"We're all born equal," you see,
Is this what 'human rights' looks like to thee?

Bigotry, armed conflicts, starvation,
Where did you get to, equality?
Is this what 'human rights' looks like to thee?

Is there a humour therapist in the house?
Sitting here, chortling, do not grouse,
If you abuse crumpets, men,
You undermine your own best interests, do you ken?
Then you don't get crumpet, men,
Or is men a rude word,
You're reaping what you earn,
You want a cup of tea from me?
Chortle, the magic word is please!
You would not believe this ham,
Feeding the world this spam,
You want fresh vegetables?
Frozen food, not dementiable,
You can get another better than me,
So what's wrong with you, prithee?
Yes, the catering staff is on a sitdown strike,
You'd best find yourself a loving wife,
Chortle, shut up snivelling, you grouse,
Is there a humour therapist in the house?

Some people live in fantasies,
Feed others non-issues and hyperboles,
Like politicians in government,

Why worry about such hyperboles?

Why am I chasing an ice cream van?
I asked, as after the van I ran....
Is this futility? I held out my hand-
Shall I ever be chased by this man?
Why does anyone chase an ice cream van?
No one is pursued by the ice cream man,
Running after a van in this heat is dippy,
Why sell our souls for Mr. Whippy?
With the crowds I did compete,
I bought soft serves, to survive the heat,
As that callous van drove down the street,
But, with ice cream, my soul is replete!
A bit of light hearted fun. Feedback welcome.

A future for our young they deserve,
Make some happy memories today,

Are people getting more mean?
It's the rise of the noun vertical,

Or am I collecting dipsticks?
Let's practise spirituality practical,

If I were dreaming,
The gods would be smiling,
The angels would be shining,
If our eyes were closing,
They would be disappearing,
As long as I have you here.

Memories of long hours kissing,
Who knows why his mind missing?
Now you're not here, you walked through the door,
I love you so much I can't see you any more,
If I were dreaming of signs from above....

Have you ever been in love?

I would make peace now, not later,

It's like a lover's secret kiss,
More like an eternal bliss,
To feel like this, for you I wish,
In the quiet stillness of our hearts,
God's silent blessing, never apart,
A prayer on Earth, a faith,

A symbol of divine and vast,
Wishing for a Peace to last,
Praying for you, I wish.....

An observer would ask quietly,
Why do we write poetry?
We use illusion, in words to dazzle,

Each poem a fragment of society,

Beacons of a torch, to dazzle,
We scribble each verse, no hassles............

Heaven is the future and now,
Silent heaven sings, don't know how,
Like a diamond in the sun,

Perpetual love is meant.

I scribble here, musing,
In my writer's mind, looming,
Is my muse a ghost writer?
A writer's mind has an insider,
How do your imagine your muse?
Like an ancient soul, thoughts to amuse,
Or is talent our muse?
Thoughts write themselves,
Creating lit. for bookshelves,
All a bit of a  puzzle, you see,
Musing on our muses, a mystery.......

I pondered, alone, not lonely, like a cloud,
Is positivity still allowed?
I spied upon a distant hill,
A man who was a dipstick dill,
My kind of guy, I suggest,
I feel this poem does regress,
I keep feeding him, none the less,
I ponder on what is a man,
Not the end of the world, to him no hand,
I ponder, alone, not lonely, like a cloud,
Yes, other magic is still allowed.......

Our nation based on immigration,
One polyglot meld of humanity,
To Australia show fidelity,
Our nation of peaceful tolerance,
People from Earth's shifting sands,

I'm so glad you found me again,
As we embrace, my loving man,
In our imaginations, a million years,
Happy memories and not one tear,
Maybe we're both out of time and space,

Adam leads Eve across centuries,
So, this is what you mean to me, finally,
As we kiss, entwining, loving man.....
I'm so glad you found me again.
