How to write a recipe,
For life in the Universe, indeed,
Take the basic building blocks, you see,
Yes, Hydrogen, Helium, and Carbon made thee,
But who made the first matter,
When a cosmic egg did shatter?
Or has there always been matter, man?
We're in a petri dish of a vast plan,
Maybe a universal experiment,
Is mankind what all this meant?
So that is the basic recipe,
For life in the Universe, indeed.....
Feedback welcome.

A stranger looked at my palm,
I thought it would not do me harm,
What is this she's telling me?
When the future is a mystery,
What is in my life line,
A tracing of a lifetime.....

I heard Isaiah call to say,
Listen to me in silence today,
Let the sacred light guide our way,
Isaiah called to us to say,
Listen to me in silence today,
In quiet stillness in your hearts,
Listen to me, don't let us part,
One light of God to lead the way,
For Peace on Earth, let us pray,
Listen to me in silence today,
I heard Isaiah call to say.
A thought from the Bible. Feedback welcome.

Shakespeare would have failed Naplan,
That was not in his cunning plan,
Yes, his folks would have him tutored,
To ensure Billy became learned,
He would have lost his homework,
Billy did so not want extra work,
Shakespeare, that teen scallywag,
It was total fun, such a lad.
Now Shakespeare is a wraith,
Why, Billy, why? Teens sayeth,
As they serially fail literacy tests,
Why not abolish that Billy pest?
Tragic heroes and drama queens,
That's the teens writing essays on such scenes,
While Billy failed in literacy,
Teens do sense such hypocrisy.
I read that Shakespeare would have failed the Australian compulsory literacy test. Feedback welcome.

Here in Oz, they're banning fairy tales,
Indeed, a giggle did not fail,
Children's lit must be correct politically,
Here's the new style ode for thee,
Listen up and you shall see.
Skippy has two mummies,
Their boyfriends spat the dummies,
Now Skippy's mums got preg,
Their boyfriends did renege,
So along came little Skippy,
Hopping off to eat Mr. Whippy,
Yes, totally correct politically,
New fairy tales for the kiddies,
Skippy has two mummies,
Our norms do change, it seems....

It's World Smile Day!
How shall we celebrate today?
What's wrong with smiling, anyway?
Let's create a living legacy,
Smiles between thee's and me's.
Yes, a global living legacy,
Everyone smiling today, prithee!!

Once young in the sun,

Really, can be read,

Look out, beware,
Watch it, take care!
Don't enter that church, dumb *******!
You'll end up right little witches,
Depends if you get a dud,
Don't accept such crud,
It's not your accountability,
For so called men's inadequacies,
Make it his problem, not yours,
Weddings can lead to divorce,
So don't go in that church, dumb *******!
You'll end up right little witches!
I feel cynical. Feedback welcome.

A tale of my Lord, His sign,
Sent faith to align,
Been great I can say,
Blessed by best this day,
Pray with pen to unite,.
Future peace, a light,
Over to the young,
No bombs, more than fun,
Advance evolution,
Needs your evolution,
Best years ahead, might see,
Hope for humanity.....

Yes, what tales of non romance,
In some stranger's dance,
Some women get love's short  shrift,
Not so lucky, get my drift,
It's called love and catastrophes,
Spare me the drama mamas, please!
(And they're supposed to be men, prithee!!)

For today,
For tomorrow,
And forever, our love keeps growing,
While lucid thoughts share eternal glowing,
I remain,
Always yours,
Your fan!

What is love? A quest,
You totally are the best,
Wake me up in bliss,
Takes more than our kiss,
It is beyond sublime,
Stood the test of time,
Better man no love could bring,
You make this heart's bells ring,.
Guess I am still in love,
Love is sign from above.
Feedback welcome.
Lovely, you're still my Valentine,
Romance that is yours and mine,
It's okay to be human, feeling
Sublime, love sends me reeling.
It's okay to love your smile,
Hope we linger a while
In morning glory, all right
Darby, no need to get uptight,
Your woo is more than best,
Spammers, chuck away the rest!
You are Cupid's sweet one,
Older  now, for ageing fun,
Adoring  you, such happy face,
Lovers have an excellent place,
My ode devoted, my heart
Caring for you, let's never part.
Feedback welcome.
Our love smiled on my face,
It was an excellent place,
We flew way too high,
But now gone,  I sigh,
Happy memories I was learning,
Once more I am yearning,
For what might have been,
Charmed my heart, that scene...
Lovers once shared happy place,
Still reminisce, masked face.
Feedback welcome.

O Lover mine,
Mind of mind,
From times of mine,
Our Autumn days,
Sixty shades,
Of senile grey,
Your balding ways,
A tonsure's fine,
From times of mine,
O lover mine.......
A whimsy, feedback welcome.
Lovers love, okay,
While I've got you here,
I can't love you enough,
Our souls collide
Through the years,
No secret what love
Can do, hearts young
But older, time elapsed,
Write each page we
Can, enduring
Soothing,with glow,
Lovers love today,
Ever loyal to you.
Feedback welcome.

I consider you a friend,
My respect for you shall never end,

You are a blessing from afar,
Love can find you anywhere,
Even friendship love, my dear,
I love to love you, my friend,
May our affection never end.....

Loving is a verb,
Sign--do not disturb,
Like a kiss of pasta,
Makes a woman bellissima,
Vesuvius explodes,
Time travel in odes,
Aeons of love roads,
I never got over you,
Negativity is so fabulous,
Time travel for the two of us,
I never got over you,
Loving is a verb to view.

What is your greatest luxury?
Music every time for me,
To greet the day with a tune,
Not the end of the world soon,
So don't waste thoughts,
Negative thoughts are noughts,
Don't let thoughts drag you down,
Even if you play the clown,
Hit the music, folks like thee,
Lighten up, music is a luxury!
Feedback welcome.

I'm passing hours, pondering ectoplasm,
Ethereal ghosts float over time's dark chasms,
I'm musing on ectoplasm, so pensive,
Would a shade of Jesus be God's missive?
Glimmer of wraiths, sight unseen,
Are they the long gone racing team?
Ectoplasm, I wonder at spirits and souls,
Angels appear in dreams, faces of old,
This side of midnight, not too far away,
Loved ones guiding us every day,
Life changing old souls, in a collective,
Maybe a shade of Jesus would be a missive,

I'm pondering ectoplasm, bemused and pensive.
Only a dream, Feedback welcome.

"Outside the city where the pomegranates grow..."
In solitude, my soul bloomed alone,
A spiritual journey I pondered on,
For the world, I saw a giant pond,
I prayed for blessings, with a magic wand,
Deliverance from our virtual Armageddon,
From then on, I was not alone,
Collective blessings bloomed at home,
Outside the city where the pomegranates grow,
In solitude, my soul bloomed alone.........

I reminisce by this railway siding pond,
Musing on rail relics rattling on,
Recalling lives and times bygone,
But memories of their shades linger on,
The lonesome call of distant steam trains,
Eras that may never come again,
I see they're gone nowhere in particular,
Replaced by planes and transport vehicular,
I imagine queues on foggy platforms,
Awaiting the misted trains' shadow forms,
Standing by, expecting the status quo,
I blink my eyes, where did they all go?
Looking backwards along yesterday's track,
I'm no kid any more, get off my back,
I reflect and reminisce,
Nostalgia is for the times we miss,
I'll reminisce by the railway siding pond,
I recall the times and lives bygone,
As ghosts of rail relics keep rattling on......
I aimed to write a lyric poem for a change. Feedback welcome.
Voice for your smiling face
Charms--our love to grace,
"No dramas" anyway,
Sinners and saints this day,
My heart's still singing,
Lyrics of love are ringing....

Dear Mary, Queen of Heaven above,
Please bless us with the peace of doves.
You showed us the meaning of true love,
Your beauty is like none before,
Bless us now, as in times of yore,
Your soul shines through your smiling eyes,
Bless us all from Heaven's skies,
Please bless us with the peace of doves,
Showing us the meaning of true love.

And give the Earth a bless,
With the magic of kindness,
A touch of magic no less!

It's time to tune in!
I write with a grin,
Let's look at the Universe,
For what it's worth,
Big picture a must,
Humans-atoms of stardust,
Each one a fragment of time,
Don't have to walk the line,
Easier to smile, and be kind,
Make your own sunshine!
Ban the boring, negativity
No good for society,
In beer, you can trust,
New exes down the pub!
Each day a fragment of time,
Must make your own sunshine!

I couldn't think of what to say,
I dreamt of Mandela in eternity,
A vision of a visionary,
His legacy for posterity,
His goals complete,
His dreams achieved,
His blessed soul sleeps,
Forever at peace...
I couldn't think of what to say,
Mandela sleeps in eternity,
Freedom his gift for eternity,
Mandela's best is yet to be...

I have visions of a visionary,
I couldn't think of what to say,
Only 'Thank you' from humanity.

How can we all  be a manifest?
To create a world that's blessed?
Should be a lifetime quest,
Smiles and kindness are free,
Sent from each one personally,
To approach each  day positively,
Positive plans for every day,
How can we be manifests today?

MARS

The Shaman and the Planet Mars,
Gazing in wonder amid the stars,
Arms raised in worship,
The Universe the Navajo church,
Ancient marvels to behold,
The human race timeless and old,
From Mars to Earth,
Did spaceships give berth?
Ramses' face on Mars,
Pondering Ptolemies from afar,
The Shaman honour singing,
Future and past aligning,
Gazing in wonder amid the stars,
The Shaman and Planet Mars.

I heard a joke along the way,
Honk if you love Jesus this way,
Text if you want to meet Him today!
Made me smile, slow down,
No need to rush and frown,
Let's pace ourselves this way,
Slow down on the roads, okay?
Honk if you love Jesus this way,
Text if you want to meet him today!
Let's have a Peace and Happiness Day!

MELANCHOLY

Spring of silence--
No bees,
No ants,
No birds,
No trees,
Silent indeed,
Spring for thee,
Melancholy,
Eden paved evermore,
What we see no more--
Bees no more,
Ants no more,
Birds no more,
Trees no more,
Air no more,
People no more,
Rat race stalled,
Paradise no more,
What was it all for?
Inspired by an article, we do not see Australian birds any more.
Feedback welcome.

Yes, it's the racing carnival,
Fashionistas so topical,
Significance trivial,
Eye candy,
Drunk and silly,
Studs in suits,
Looking beaut,
Glitterati,
Haves and wannabes,
For the paparazzi,
Doyens of the racing industry,
You all look fabulous,
Gambling magnanimous,
Thoroughbreds' gloss,
Media hype and dross,
Great racing day,
*****, bets and babes,
Stuff the plebs today,
Our city's public holiday,
Melbourne Cup Day!
A tribute to our racing public holiday. Feedback welcome.

Poor little man!
It's like kicking a can,
Did your footy team lose?
Do you wish you had a *****?
Now you're a'sulking,
In your lair you are skulking,
Now no one loves you, churn,
Go down the garden and eat big fat worms,
Sad violins,
Pity parties for him.
His team did not win,
Wah!! Wah!!! Drama  mama man!
You poor little man!
OH!!

As I meander over this stage,
I see older women who turn the page,
They seem to hunt down more heels,
Luring in them in with their melons of steel,
Big bazoomas,  strong derrieres,
But, they don't have much luck, it appears,
I wonder  what they're hoping for,
Those widow spider predators.......
Melons of steel, melons of steel,
Let me know when you catch your eels!

What is it with some men?
Is this what those nuptials meant?
You are turned into his mother figure,
A holy cow, housework, meals, rigour,
Maybe there's no luck in love,
So much for wedding doves,
"I am not your mother!"
I wished I yelled at another,
Maybe  I don't know how to train a man,
Maybe a manual should come in a can,
Then you could have twins in tins,
Fully formed, no ***** pins!
Maybe it is the male gender,
They really want a nanny for their benders,
Is this what those nuptials meant?
What is with some men?

I hope to contemplate the Mind of God,
As onwards, the human race does plod,
Is it Armageddon, where once we trod?
No, not yet, I hope to discern God's vast plan,
For the total billions of each human,
Is it towards anarchy we plod?
Who hopes to read the mind of God?
Let's contemplate humanity,
One multi-faceted entity,
What's wrong with global peace armies?
To save blowing up our sons and daughters,
This is not Peace like it oughta!
But if we had leaders, visionaries,
Would there be a balm for humanity?
We hope for a future for our society,
As onwards, one human race does plod,
Not Armageddon yet, where once we trod......

I hope to contemplate the Mind of God.

I scribble this thought in an ode,
Writer's minds have minds of their own,
Our Muse does oft overflow,
Unless there's writers' block, you know,
Fiction people come to life,
We create their  joy or strife,
Or do they invent their own?
Is fiction a world to compose,
Or do our minds have minds of their own?

When  I look in the mirror,
Sometimes  I gape in horror,
I look at old grey age,

Not what you want us to be! Tough, eh!

Let's place the fair in welfare today,
Yeah, right, a quest for all our pollies,
Myriad challenges for equity,
True, misery loves comedy,

Listening to Parliament gives me the blip,
Best to off turn the switch,
Pray for a Lazarus economy,
Yes, misery loves comedy.....
But, really not that funny!
