Today I will walk
Through this busy land
Unhurried and unrushed
Though the world not understand

RLB
What is yesterday but;
T-odays
I-rreplaceable
M-oments,
E- xpended.
Let not my tongue be the bow
That sends forth a poison arrow
Let I pray the words I speak
Alight as gently as a sparrow

RLB
Something I have to always be conscious of.
From the bow you are the arrow,
Sent speeding in its flight,
I wish you were a sparrows feather,
Wafting down from heavens height.

RLB
Living on earth
I am dying
Through my dying
I shall live

1 Corinthians 2:9
Eye has not seen ear has not heard neither has entered into the hearts of men the things God has prepared for those who love him.

I'm afraid I'm broken
but in the same way that shattered glass
catches the light

I took a broom to seven generations
of moths in the spare bedroom closet
when I saw the red wool sweater in a box
with crossed white cloth baseball bats
sewn on the back and a # 1 patch smack
dab on the heart; the window to my past
shattered like glass on a long ago Saturday.
For Noah.

Salma
Don't you ever say
"Someone made my day"
Even simply by their existence
But have you ever thought that
You made someone's day
Maybe the "good morning" I said
Is his last thought today
And he remembers it
Smiles
And then sleeps peacefully

Even thought I don't even like him
And he loves me
I'm happy that I made him smile
The fact that someone is happy because of me
Makes me glad
And I could see his face changing
From "will she say hi back?"
To a big smile in his eyes.
