I'm snoozing my best in the morning
Along about sun up,
When I hear someone a-callin'
Wake up, it's time to get up,
I lay there stretching and yawning
So nice to stay in bed,
I see the Sun is shining
Over the back woodshed,
Crawling from under the covers
Cheeks so nice and cool,
When the Sun gets over the chickenhouse
It's time to go to school,
Then sometimes
After I am up out of bed,
The moon comes over
The same woodshed,
If I'm still
And quiet as a mouse,
I'm asleep before it reaches
The old tinhouse.

Was I lost in thoughts of love
When I closed my eyes? He
Appeared, and
Had I known it for a dream
I would not have awakened.

The colour of this flower
Has already faded away,
While in idle thoughts
My life goes by,
As I watch the long rains fall.

So intensely
Do I feel love now that
In the lily-seed dark
Night, my robe
I'll turn inside out, and put it on.

The world as I see it?
What kind of question is this?
The world as I see it,
has fallen with fists.

The violence, the fear,
the world bathes in rage.
And more has developed
as our world faces age.

The human heart
has become quite cold.
The story of peace
is no longer told.

The Earth is decaying
and dying today.
And inncoent souls
are passing away.

Shawdows of hate
have plagued this lost land.
This forsaken world
denys Gods command.

But there is still hope!
Our love is not lost.
Words spoken of peace
will come at a cost.

The world as I see it
has much more to learn
to heal the black scar
from the Devils Harsh Burn.
And that night I was a mechanical doll
and I turned right and left, to all sides
and I fell on my face and broke to bits,
and they tried to put me together with skillful hands
And then I went back to being a correct doll
and all my manners were studied and compliant.
But by then I was a different kind of doll
like a wounded twig hanging by a tendril.
And then I went to dance at a ball,
but they left me in the company of cats and dogs
even though all my steps were measured and patterned.
And I had golden hair and I had blue eyes
and I had a dress the color of the flowers in the garden
and I had a straw hat decorated with a cherry.

Black shadow in the dark
you lurk upon me
you mimic my actions
you try to see what i see
black shadow in the dark
though as evident as the light
you sneak up in the night
you fool all in sight
you scare all with your bite
black shadow in the night
it seems i know you well
for you follow me through hell
you will soon rebel
black shadow i know your name
for now i will say fair game
black shadow in the dark
you may play your cast
but tonight will be your last
live it well as i say to you
far well
black shadow in the dark
