many
*months

the
selection
process
takes
it's
similar
to
picking
the
finest
of
cakes

on one side
there's democrat candidates
on the other
there's republican candidates

the primary's period
is where the wheat is sorted from the chaff
to find a personage
who'll hold the head nominee's staff

the hoopla goes on for
what seems an eternity
television ads telling
of the runners probity

by October the polls
give a reasonable indication
as to who'll lead
the great American nation

that November Tuesday
determines the commander in chief
phew the people say
*what a relief

Shouldnt we the people in our constitution mean we the people have power over the government. Not vice versa.things are half *** backwards.

I’m Cameron, call me Dave,
Power I do crave.
I’ll tell any story
To con you into voting Tory.
On our Prime Minister as elections loom.

he's a ******* addict
he can't get off the stuff
he's got to have plenty
he's into a dose's regular cuff

tax is his drug of choice
how he loves its high
every person in the land
he bleeds absolutely dry

tax
tax
tax

our pay packets are getting slugged
harder and harder each week
with the balance of our low incomes
looking decidedly bleak

ten percent then eighteen percent
he's extracting more and more
from our stash
which we're all invariably feeling
in the gross amounts
of leftover cash

the hit is so sublime
his government cannot refrain
as he so delights in our tax revenue
coursing through his veins

tax
tax

a brighter sun rise dawns this day
and the people did sigh a sigh of relief
they'll be of a disposition less gray

in the halls of power a better brief
the elephants now improving their lot
and the people did sigh a sigh of relief

those donkeys had surely lost the plot
they'd been traveling the wrong path
the elephants now improving their lot

seems the Senate has had a blood bath
so many liberals shown the exit sign
they'd been traveling the wrong path

Americans wanting a revamped design
Washington changing its wardrobe of attire
so many liberals shown the exit sign

the nation's people stuck in a quagmire
Washington changing its wardrobe of attire
a brighter sun rise dawns this day
they'll be of a disposition less gray

a political party that supports
the legalization of Mary Jane
is bound to be the first one
to sprint down the winner's lane

the constituents shall be busy
potting many a dope seed
so they've got a sufficient supply
of ye olde happy ****

to-day bongs and reefers
will be lit in much jubilation
as the smokers get high
on Mary Jane's elevation

Once the aggravation is rubbed out
There will be celebrations all about
Democrats holding sway for far too long
The house needing less of these most pesky weeds
They've certainly been a batch of crooked seeds
The Senate and Congress swept clean of trash
Washington having a good riddance bash
Old faces given a last farewell gong
Voting for the elephants is so good
Sprucing up the Capital's neighborhood
Mid term elections start the ball rolling
Americans restoring some order
Taking out the donkey's mass disorder
Will it not be cause for much extolling

time has come for dear Hillary
to exit the political stage
her past performances
haven't been well scripted or sage

Americans won't mind at all
if she stays at home with philandering Bill
so she can keep his ever wandering eye
nice and still

Washington needs a true
star contender for a Prez
Hillary is too old to be wearing
the chief's influential fez

most unsuccessful was
her candidature in 2008
Democrats didn't want her
as their first mate

cameo appearances seem to be
more fitting for Hillary
so the American media can give her
a jolly good pillory

the oval office needs no more
corruption lying or deceit
obviating Hillary from the scene
shall be ever so neat

the Australian Labor Party
is in mourning to-day
the great left wing union
in the sky
called Gough away
he was a leviathan
of Australian politics
in the seventies
many social issues
he championed
on the parliament's floor
with Rex Connors and Dr Jim Cairns
his biggest bone of contention
was Sir John Kerr
he sunk Gough's money supply
with Malcolm Frazer
looking on from the side
to-day there is a dark pall
cast over the Labor Party
as it says farewell
to Gough
men and women
of
Australia
will
never
see
his
likes
again

the Republican Party
have the best candidate
to run for President
on that November date

patriotic and loyal
are her glowing attributes
she'll competently lead America
with great repute

her grasp on foreign policy
is second to none
she's got a domestic agenda
which is number one

Americans will be served well
under her stewardship
they'll have an excellent person
steering the ship

the White House needs
a woman of her grace
she'll bring fresh air
to the legislative space

ballots will not be wasted
on this lady's latitude
all fifty states must vote
for her rectitude

she'll uphold the constitution
of the USA
as the forefathers meant it
to be this way

Condoleezza Rice has all
the credentials that are required
and she'll be a President
who will be admired

the girlie man of Australian politics
had the term coined just for him
the tough man Arnie Schwarzenegger
from California was thinking of him

Bill Shorten is a *****
when it comes to fiscal matters
that's why his statements
on the budget are all in tatters

soft approaches toward
spending will never do
the nation's finances are in need
of a tightening *****

the treasury office stats
don't mislead of go awry
a salient tale they tell
about a well running dry

there are no Jesus Christ figures
in Canberra to divide the loaves and fishes
a certain amount is in the nation's war chest
which must fulfill the people's many wishes

the Shorten alternative economic policy
has great sieve holes in it
the nation's well being under it
would be rendered unfit

at the end of the day
the taxpayer always pays
so the ledger should be in balance
without any stalling delays

fiscal responsibility
is good for a nation's health
marshmallow centered Shorten
has no interest in stock piling our wealth

Ail
Joe still can't get
the senate chamber to agree
that he has a well thought out
budget strategy

parts of his budget bill wont get passed
this calendar year
which will cause
the Libs and Nats to all jeer

expenditure
must be well reined in
the stack of treasury notes
are rather thin

none of the belt tightening
measures getting in
the impasse means the government
wont have savings in the tin

the country needs to have
the books in the black
if they don't pass the bills
we'll always looking back

Clive Palmer, The Greens and Labor
wont give ground
so the budget papers
will just keep hanging around

parliament will soon
be on a summer break
with our current fiscal balance
being at stake

we're all hoping
that common sense will prevail
as our nation's economy
shall continue to ail
