This is just a bridge that we all have to cross over the raging waters to get back to the calm of life...

Tonight I looked up at the sky
Realizing how much time has pasted us by
Fearing the unknown, isolated and scared
But then stopped and thought
“There is so much more up there”
With the higher being and those we’ve lost along the way
We will get through in the coming months, weeks or days
I took this all in just by looking up at the sky
Live for each moment, don’t let the moments just pass you by....

A little birdie just told me

It may not be entirely what you have dreamed

You came to me in my dream
It feels like forever it seems
It’s been many years since your gone
But to me, in my dream, your we’re drawn
Drawn to life, hugged me tight
Sure made my heart jump with delight

When sweet morning dawns
giving dreamcatcher sight,
the bad dreams flee
unable to survive in light

Dream catchers are the magic trick to capturing your nightmares or so they say
Caught like flies in a spindly web, guiding you to the morning when you've lost your way
Hope it's gone for good
Not to return in the coming nights
Setting them free, never to return to that fight

They never say how to empty them or release the dreams, so I make a mosaic or poem out of it to set them free

Dream catchers attempt to make you feel better to sleep
Don’t hesitate to worry if you try and peek
No matter how long
No matter how short
Your beautiful nightmare
Will get trapped and restored
Waking up slightly confused
But yet wanting more

Let the cobwebs do its job
For when you fall asleep at night
Your dreams will be caught, and not lost

Dream the possibilities and you will go far
By the edge of the water where the sun meets the sky
Don't look back just spread your wings and fly
Dreaming is possible if you just believe and soar high

While I was asleep
You came to me
In my dreams
Kissed me on the cheek
Said “I love you”
As I drifted into deeper sleep

Waves crash upon my feet as I dance upon the waves
Sand trapped between my toes as I dance around tippy toed
Sunrise lights the sky as I awake when the sun rises
I close my eyes and dream of my future as I fall quietly asleep dreaming away….

Suddenly I’m transported into a garden full of beautiful, vibrant colors surrounding me. The aromas of the flowers, plants and wildlife encase my nose, tickling my senses. I’m walking, which feels like slow motion, scanning the garden and taking in the beauty of nature. I stumble upon a water fountain off the beaten path, there’s a bench, so of course I take a minute to sit and relax. Trying to figure out where I am and why I’m here, with no one around but I’m calm not scared. I feel the energy of someone appear like it’s rising from the fountain waters causing me to break out in tears.
I suddenly realize why I’m here, and who is with me.... They wrap their little arms around me, comforting me ( when it should be the other way around) they whisper in my ear “ Don’t fear, I’m ok, I’m always with you everyday. I’m sorry I had to leave you, something wasn’t right, but I am always by your side. I love you always and always will, I am your child and my mom you’ll always be. “
In that moment, I felt a sense of relief knowing my baby led me to this garden, to talk to me. As real as it felt, I know it’s just a dream but dreams come true even if not in reality.

To fall
Asleep and slip into
A dream
That turns into a
Nightmare
Only to wake up
Realizing it’s actually
Real life and it happened
Not a beautiful nightmare
But a haunting experience
That you can’t erase
From you memory

You’ve awakened me from my dreams
Climbing right on top of me
Covering my mouth
Blindfolding my eyes
I was in for one hell of a surprise
I feel your long hair tickle my neck
What are you doing, oh wait, please don’t stop
Am I still dreaming? Hell I sure hope not
This all feels real, oh my, yeah that’s the spot
It feels so good, getting so hot
Slipping all over each other
No, no we can’t stop

Another dreary morning
Another dreary day
The sun will not show

Dark clouds fill the sky

One drop at a time

My inspiration and thoughts are running dry

Dried up like the tears I can not cry
I’m trying to find out why and where my inspiration and thoughts have gone and  said goodbye

I sit here on the lanai not thinking of time passing by

Lizards roam
Ocean breeze
Palm trees swaying

To clear my head

Like the ocean waters at high tide

All your emotions gather like a pile of broken seashells
Getting lost within the grains of sand for someone else to show and tell
I can go off track here and have no fears
Clearing my head of all that has gone unsaid
Feeling refreshed today and letting my worries, doubts, and emotions drift slowly  away...
