It's sad
the empty holes
forming in a heart
cannot be filled
with anything else
but what was there
before they were
empty

Angie
how nice would it be
to
rediscover you
while you
rediscover me

you talked about
it
rediscovering love
while we
rediscover us

I laugh because
I
rediscovered you
while you
lost yourself

Angie
you put me up on a podium
and forced me to talk about recovery
when I was barely tasting it

and now you sound so angry
why are you so surprised
that your least favorite daughter
is still falling apart

I'm playing hide and seek
with the shadows in my heart
the dogs are chasing me
i think I'm losing this game

i may be writing songs
but I'm barely holding on
whats the ******* point
anymore

give me a reason to breathe
because I'm fading fast
and life is pointless

give me a reason to hold on
because I'm letting go
my life is ******* pointless

You've put the bricks
Right on the top of each other
Waiting hopefully for someone who could reach
Your sick illusions removing them

No one can destroy your wall anymore
And your pain made you become too weak to do it
Now that you're imprisoned within your blurred thoughts
Your efforts to fight your mind are vain

You found on your own your need to feel
With which you justify your scratchy arms and your tears
Your memories consumed by an obsession
That feeds your hate towards yourself

You believe you'll restart
Because your loneliness scared you
You'll restart as early as possible
Protecting your fragile soul within a new disguise

Relieving myself of the burden of all my certainties
I close my eyes and I see just what I long to see
On my own, there's something in which I can't hold on
Something I never wanted

For the first time I pleasantly feel out of my mind
Like I'm drawning into the deepest ocean without make a stand
I choose to hide in his embrace for hours
Until I chain myself within the sweet pain of distance

And when my arms become extremely light
And my empty reality restart to flow
The time spent in illusions become a heap of lies
*Because an endless feeling would loose its beauty

You
you bleed stars
I stare into your eyes
you are lonely
you want to leave
the forest.
you are dim
flying around in your sad sidecar
looking for a settling ground
I will hold your mask.

There is a mystery out there,
Please, come fast Adam!
Where are you lost?
- I'm hidden in the grass,
behind you, following your
every step, like in the past.

-Come here, crazy boy
and see the hypnotizing light
of the tree…
- No! Not this one! Don't
dare to touch it! Deep sadness
and misfortune are in its leaves.
- But I just can't resist! did
you listen whisper? Oh, lovely
creature in golden green!
- Don't dare, against the will
of our Master!
Snake: who is He? Have you
Seen his face delightful?

-never, we just listen to his voice
like thunder in the heavens…

Am i dead?
Cause i feel like it.
Can't feel my pulse.
Can't breath,
Can't see.
Where am I?
Am I in heaven?
Is this what hell's like,
I see blood on my hand,
and blood on my chest.
I look down and there is my body
I look to my left and right. People rush
Whats going on? I'm scared. I see my friends cry.
Why don't they hear me? Am I dead?
I see a light. Its so beautiful.
I am dead...

The others never got to Jane
quite like tequila had.
While sober one might think her plain,
Jose turned good girl, bad.

In a haze of salt and lime she
thought herself a hero.
A partying vigilante,
but powers? She had zero.

That never stopped Jane in her tracks.
She thought herself quite brave.
Jane’s friends disagreed with these facts,
and wished she would behave.

On the night before prom they drank,
Each kid grabbing a brew.
Jane grabbed her bottle with a “thanks”
and drank the whole night through.

The tequila was pumping through
her veins and Jane felt strong,
as she did a slurred rendition
of her favorite song.

Though the words were a bit muddied
and she was quite off key
the group all sang along with her,
the crowd howling with glee.

“I’m strong!” They stared. “And you know it!”
The drunken hero rose.
One boy yelled, “She’ll fall and eat ****!”
They watched, all on their toes.

“She’ll try and fly again.” one said.
Tequila Jane was nuts.
“Last time she slipped, and fell and bled!”
***** made Jane a klutz.

“Get down from there!” her friend growled,
grabbing her by the hand.
“Back off man! Total party foul!”
Jane squealed, trying to stand.

But the liquor was too much, those
the shots had made her woozy.
Jane passed out, thus the story goes,
of our favorite ******.
For a class. Please enjoy.
