A real conversation

I saw a lady in the bazaar
with a melted face.
Her nose was non-existant
like her lips.
One eye was brown,
the other glazed blue,
like a vulture eye.
A local told me
she was once beautiful,
a regular queen
who ******* her man,
the guy who threw the acid.

Not sure if this works or not but it took to long to back out!
Woke up at 2 with this idea, got up at 3, finished at 5.
These are supposed to be waves....If anyone would like to take a look inside my head...it looks much better there. The idea...not the confusion that's always hanging out.

I need just one more write
To make me sound profound
Before it is I release my pen
And leave without a sound

One more simple line
With a killer bite
That won't be so easily
Forgotten over time

Not a poem on heartache
Or one on puppy love
Those have been given play
More often than enough

What I need's a poem
That will make the young girls sigh
While the old men giggle
Asking themselves why

I need a poem that will go out
With the biggest bang
Stop the world in wonder
Of where all these years I've been

One that will shoot my name
Straight up to the top
Jumping high rise buildings
In a poetic power drop

All I need is that one more write
To show that I'm sincere
Then after all that's done
I can get out of here

time at times
gets the best of me

time can be
friend or enemy

we sometimes treat time
like some dreaded disease

while hoping that time
for us never leaves

the passing of time
is both hated and like

we all wait for time
to give the final ride

too soon comes the time
to say our goodbyes

as we watch time fly
in the blink of an eye

A Farewell.

Part One.*

Sun nearly angry with summer.
Silence echoes itself under
The dome of blue. Clouds so
Elaborate you'd think they were
Animated;

Giant. Few. Above the collapsed
Barn wall, where shreds of tarp
Dance in slow motion, I see crows
The size of falcons glide; high; barely
Visible.

After the storm settles in your little
Glass, you see how well the pieces
Fit anew. Two crows apart.
I have been given so much sky.
I will fly in it.

One day both the hands

Decided to make a stand

Inviting both the feet

To where they all could meet

Down in the city park

To enjoy a pleasant walk

The feet both spoke out loud

We'll have to ask the mouth

He handles all of our affairs

From travel plans, to pedicures

From East to West, North to South

Here and there and there about

Gives everything we need

Through the chatter of his teeth

The ears they heard a roaring sound

And asked the eyes to look around

Of course it was the mouth

Telling them all to settle down

Who is it that gave the mouth control

Something that we may never know

I've know every square inch
of your beautiful topography,
kissing you from your crown
to the tips of your toes.
I've memorized every curve,
nook and cranny,
slipped between your hills,
ventured up
into your valley
& journeyed over
your long stretches.
And during my travels
over you,
I learned wanderlust
& I must have you,
again & again.
