Her name is Ivy
She'd say "come on and try me"
She had an hour glass figure
Her breast couldn't get much bigger
With hair from here to there
You couldn't help but stare

She had skills in the bedroom
Made strong men weak and moan
When giving blow jobs
She always got her tongue involved
She was the best in the land
Even with just her hand

But once in her embrace
You'd lose track of time and space
A little piece of heaven wrapped up in hell
She would put you under her spell

They'd always begged for more
She just knocked them to the floor
For she truly hated men
But could make them *** and *** again

That was her poison
She toyed with their emotion
She poisoned their brain
For want of her would drive them insane
They had tasted the sweet nectar
Then could no longer get her

She drove many to take their own life
For they couldn't make her a wife
She grew wild and free
You can look but not see
She was the greatest find
But she was a poisoned vine

If you ever touched her you'd agree
The beautiful Poison Ivy

I am just fruit from the poisonous tree
That stands by the crimson sea

All day and night you can hear my plea
As I scream like the lonely banshee

My life must be written in a decree
That I only receive pain in diffrent degrees

My life is like a fierce sand flea
It makes me hurt in places I don't see

Until it's to late, wont it just let me be
With all of this misfortune I must disagree

I guess I was born from that old ashe tree
Because ashes is all that surrounds me

This desolation of misery I beg to flee
From this strife and depression I long to be free

One day while searching the web
The little devil on my shoulder said
Why don't we watch **** instead

The little Angel was missing that day
So what was I to say
But okay

As I sat there in the computer screen glow
I clicked some links but they were slow
I clicked and clicked, but it just wouldn't go

It had froze
Figures that's how my life flows
But then they all at one time started to roll

All I had wanted to do was watch a show
With some **'s and men with part that grow
But I had unleashed a ******* pornado

You are not the only one that's broken
Do you even realize how hurtful  those words where that was spoken
You voice is all I can hear
It keeps ringing in my ear
"Your an awful person"
Made my depression worsen
Do you realize what you've done
You didn't place in my hand the gun
You just gave me reason to pull the trigger
I wish your last words you would reconsider

Guess you don't care what your words cost
For it was only me that you lost

Soon my friend you will unfold
For I know the deeds you hold
For you shine with the gleamer of hope
When with all the agony I can't cope

Soon my friend you will drip precious rubies
You will comfort and sooth me
When nothing else can console
You are there to create the flow

Soon my friend you'll bite my skin
Save me from the sorrow that's within
You'll transfer the pain swelling in my head
You'll drip with precious rubies bright and red

A zebra can never change it's stripes
Nor leopard change it's spots
One will always be the prey
Just like you and I

Sitting out on a bench
Thinking, maybe I should run and impale myself on that fence
In the garage at the beams I take a glance
Maybe I should tie a rope and do the marionette death dance
Swallow a bunch of pills
Or take a gun and cure my ills
I knew there was a price for love
Now watch me fall with that finale shove
Falling down that rabbit hole
Will I come back, I really don't know

Hold my hand in my rain
Protect my heart in it's pain
Wrap your beautiful arms around me
When life's depravity I can't take to see
Please oh Please stand beside me

All these feelings welling up
They made me drink from this cup
The hatred is rising to the top
And this feeling I can't stop
I want to hurt the ****
That did such bad things to me and my loved ones
I want to crunch their bones
And hear their awful moans
I want to bash their heads
I want them to know the dread
I want them to wish they was dead
But I won't let them yet
I want them full of regret
I want to stomp their face in with my boots
Make sure their eyes are nice and loose
And turn their evil brains to juice
And when I'm done you'll find them under the cyprus tree roots

My chest compressed, I can not breath
And everything around me bleeds
Trapped in the rabbit hole
Where no one's supposed to go

I think me and the Mad Hatter will get along splendidly
We climbed into the tea *** boat and sail the crystal sea
And dine upon the walrus hide
We just can not be denied

Oh what fun we had sunning on the shore
All the clams gather round us,we was so adored
Oh look over yonder there is a door

Well Mad Hatter I've got to go but I shall be back
If I have to put that rabbit in a sack
To make him bring me to this wonderful place that I adore
The Mad Hatter looked at me sadly, don't open up that door
Your being silly I won't stay gone long
But something was very wrong

I opened it quickly
And what I saw made me sickly
For behide that forbidden door
In a pool of my own blood I was lying on the floor

Depression claims another soul
Carried it down the rabbit hole

There it will remain
Forever shackled in it's chains

For once the black dog bites down
He drags you underground

You will remain changed
Your world rearanged

Your buried alive
No chance to survive

I'm just a Raggedy Ann doll in a Barbie doll world
And sadly I'm starting to become unfurled
Into this wounded life I was hurled
And the lines are becoming blurred
It's all becoming so very much twirled
And this mind of mine is so very much swirled
So in the corner you'll find me curled

I'm standing here on the side of the road, rain falling on my shoes
Sorrow clouds my view
Lord knows I've paid my dues

Standing here in my misery knowing I'll never see the sunlight
Seeing my life as just a blight
Lord knows I'll never get it right

I'm standing here on the side of the road, rain falling on my shoes
I can't help but sing the blues
Lord knows I am confused

Standing here while demons play with my memories
Lying "it truly had to be"
Lord knows my life's in jeopardy

I'm standing here on the side of the road, rain falling on my shoes
This agony remains in my soul infused
I know the Lord's amused

With the reception I'm getting from you
I might as well be in Timbuktu
It's a growing feeling of deja vu

All my words you misconstrue
I tried to explain till in the face I'm peacock blue
One of these days your gonna get whats due

And life, on you is gonna chew
And spit you out like rancid stew
Then maybe you will feel bad for what you do

Treating me like a pair of old brown shoes
Walking on me until your through
An apology is overdue
Don't give me that look you know it's true

With you every thing is a hullabaloo
I think I'll find someone new
With them I'll move to Kalamazoo
There my life you can't askew

You don't like my poems because they rhyme
I don't give a **** these poems are mine
You think your a serious writer
But my pen is mightier
You use big words to impress
You think with words you are blessed
I can use big words too
But I prefer *******!!!
Big words are great in the right context
But with your words you're only trying to vex
So stand aside and watch me go
With the rhythm, rhyme and flow
This is no childs poem....it's mine
And I'm gonna leave you far behind

The memory you left, grows like a cancer, a cyst
Makes me really really wish
You had just beaten me with your fist

But the pictures play over and over in my mind
It's been almost a year,yet I find
The agony has not lessened, but grown
It's the worst I've ever known

The pain is so deeply ingrained
It has left me maimed
I can't even cry
My eyes remain dry

Out in the woods you took my body, left my soul splayed
I left you 18yrs ago, yet I was still your prey

You ***** my body, ***** my mind, ***** my soul
But that was far from all, now in the woods I can not go
Even the thought of it leaves my bones cold

Now no more fishing,no more camping, no more hikes
You left me with new fears that I have to fight
What you did was extremely far from right
Memories, anger, anguish, and depression takes another bite

With no sanctuary, no reprieve
Now nothing at all in which to believe you shoveled me down to my knees
For now every sound, every smell, everything in the woods I see
Only flashes of savage  pictured memories
Pauline Morris Mar 2016
They're rapping at my window, howling at my door
They're clawing at my carpet, banging on my walls
They're rattling my door ****, flickering my lights
They're looking thru the key hole, shouting thru the cracks

They're crashing thru my window, breaking down my door
They're tearing up the carpet, knocking down my walls
They're ripping off my door ****, busting all my bulbs
They're coming thru the keyhole, screaming by my head

They're entering my mind, there's nothing I can do
They're crawling into my fleash, controlling my every move
They're examining all my fears, making sure they all come true
They've finally taken over, now I truly am insane
Pauline Morris Jun 2016
There is something I can't quit remember
I think it was really good, or really really bad
It might have happened way back in December
I get a feeling it was the best,or maybe the worst I ever had
It could of been both, rolled up into one
I wish I could remember, I wish I knew
Either way I know I had fun
But please my friend could you give me a clue
Pauline Morris Mar 2016
Although I try to fight them
Thoughts of his invasion
And of how he was so ******* brazen
Keep hijacked my mind
I know what I'll find

I don't want to look
I dont want to open that book
I don't want the memories
It just fosters my disease

He destroyed my sacred place
He knew that was my space
So cool and calculating
So patiently waiting
Knew when to strike
Out in the woods he'd make me hike

******* stop I scream to myself, just stop
Put those **** memories on the chopping block
Bury them down deep, and hide them
Or your sanity is gonna be looking grim

Think of happier things like butterflies, birds, and bees
Maybe it'll be easier than it seems
But my birds turn to buzzards
My bees die cuz my butterflies are bad *** *******

I'm tired of reaping another's bad actions
This kinda **** just shouldn't happen
But it does all the time
And cops don't give a **** about this kinda crime

So what am I to do
I feel like throwing in the towel, I'm trough
I'm tired of waiting for happier times
Of trying to patch together a life that doesn't rhyme
Pauline Morris Jun 2016
Here I stand at the edge of the woods, hands trembling
At the thought of entering
How am I gonna do this
My sanctuary I miss

But it was taken away
One evil dark day
Once what brought me joy
Now seems to destroy
No longer happy memories
Me in his clutch is all I see

Please my friend take my hand and lead me
For the images he left are beastly
Hold me tight while I grive
For his dark deeds seethe
His putrid touch I still feel
It's to much, to real

I want my sanctuary back
I don't want this beautiful place to turn black
I want to hear the nightingale's song again
Watch the fish in the creeks swim
Watch the breeze
Play about the tree's
I want to once again sit quietly
Seeing the deer walk about so skittishly

Please my friend hold me tight
So these thoughts of his invasion I can fight
Please stay right beside
So when it gets to much in your arms I can hide
This time the darkness I can't fight on my own
For the cut he left was down to the bone
So grip my hand tight and lead me in
One deep breath let us begin
Confronting the memory where it began
Hold on to me so I can stand
Help me dear friend take back this land

Hardened and honed
Right down to the bone
Unreachable
Untouchable
Refined in the fires
Of monsters' desires
Irredemable
Irretrievable
Forever being oppressed
Pressed and compressed
Inescapable
Ineluctable
Walking this world alone
Dragging a heart of stone
Unbreachable
Unbreakable
No longer afraid
A warrior was made

You make happiness look so easy to achieve
It almost makes me believe
That there might be Something more for me
But we where dealt different cards
My problems fiercely followed and bombard
In this harsh game called life
I was dealt from the straight blade knife

Human monster's never claimed you in your youth
Your parents love was only there to sooth
A warm family and many friends
Always greeted you with warm hugs and grins
You never knew loss, only wins
You never seen the circling of shark fins

Don't get me wrong, I don't begrudge your happy life
I'm glad the universe with you had no gripe
I only ask you don't judge where I stand
For human monsters have always had my hand
Dragging me into their agonizing lands
Till I was foever stuck in depressions quicksand

I would just like for you to acknowledge my pain is real
I'm not feeling sorry for myself, this darkness is sealed
It's not make belive in my head, it's the scars on my heart, in my memories, on my skin
The monsters keep coming there is no end

We where delt from diffrent decks
We are nothing but universal specks
You were dealt better cards
Mine from the start was marred
I don't judge or envy you
I don't want sympathy, all I ask is you give me the respect I'm due

Tripping over my own feet again
Revisiting my old sin
My old friend
But it's ok
I don't mind it this way
My mind is numb, my body floats
I don't even need a boat
Now I can fly
No wings need to be applied
It will all be good, until the passing of times sand
When I go in to land
There will be that inevitable crash
That touch down splash
But know need to worry about that now
Oh look a flying cow

Ohhh this pain has got to stop
Rip it out it's just to much
It's white hot
But cold to the touch
I don't care if it's my heart or my soul
It's just got to go I don't care if it leaves a hole
It might be my brain
All that gray matter
Either way it's a strain
I think I'm gonna shatter
I can't take it any more
Can't you see the fall
Can't you see me lying on the floor
Can't you hear my call
Everytime you open the door
You keep banging my head
But just keep stepping over me
Never hearing what I've said
You just keep that look of glee
As I lay here and bleed
For truth is crimson red
All those demons that you feed
That alone should fill you with dread
That karma will soon be coming for you
And for once I'll be the one laughing
For your demons will pursue
And you'll be the one that's cracking

My heart is very heavy today
For a great poet is lost along the way
His words where always mesmerizing
That is not surprising
For every poem was a gem
For in every poem there are little pieces of him
He laid his heart open for all of us to see
A poet like him, will never again be
I feel very humbled that he took the time to consol us, before his finale journey
Now I must end this poem, for my eyes are just to blurry

The river of time keeps on flowing
I'm standing here in the knowing
All things will pass and fall away
As we flow from day to day

But the memories seem to remain
Be it happy ones, or the ones that torture our brain

Be it the rivers smooth ride
Or around the bend where rapids hide
To stay in the boat is the greatest challenge
For sometimes things become so unbalanced

Sometimes we are thrown overbord
Most of the time not of our own accord
As we try to keep our heads above the waves motion
Trying not to drown in all the heavy emotion

Sometimes all we can do is hold on to the boat and get dragged along
Other times we're firmly planted dry and warm in the boat singing our hearts song

But whatever waters we transverse
We all know time will do it's worse
It's not the trails we will be judged by
Or even how much we cry
We'll be judged by how we responded to the storm
What eventually becomes the norm

How time changes us inside
If we get angry, spiteful and mean, or if a heart is opened and we try
To help our fellow man
To lean on each other so we both can stand

So try to enjoy the river of times flow
Sitting there watching through the glass the sand steadily go

Here I sit in my pile of ashes
Wishing I had some rose colored glasses
I want to look at things a new
But my glasses don't carry that hue
I watch my dreams smoke and combust
And all I can do is look on in disgust

She set the scene
Like they do for the movie screen
Very thing she did had a meaning
She cleaned the house till it was gleaming

She tried to pretend she hadn't planned it for months, for weeks, for days
But everything she did has something different to say

She had ordered a surgical scalpel online
Praying it would come in time
It arrived a few days ago
And today would be her last show

She put on her favorite dress
The wrinkles out of it she gently caressed
She added rose petals to the bath water
A reminder of all the loved that had faltered
A couple of candles, for the light
That in her eyes no longer shined, her soul was as black as moon less night
She put on a little makeup, there would be no tears to smear it
They were all dried up, her life was ****

She slowly lowered herself into the tub
She didn't want a mess, it would contain her blood
She took that surgical tool, Determined to end all that was cruel
She didn't have to press to hard
She was dealing death's card
She made the slits down her wrist
Watching all of her life's blood flow out filled her with bliss
The water soon turned a crimson red
She just relaxed, there was no dread
The candles like her life soon expired
She had gotten what she had so desired

The iron smell of her blood soon filled the room
It's aroma was a forbidding doom
Her face despite the makeup was ashen white
But a smile creased her lips, she was done with life's fight
She looked so peaceful, so at rest
For her tourtured soul has no longer imprisoned within her flesh

I have rotted on the vine
No one plucked me before I died
Now I'm just fermented fruit
I am feeling mighty minut
I guess it is now my time
Just feed me to the ***** swine
They will slurp me like expensive wine
I'll make them feel mighty fine
At lest then my flesh well have served a purpose
My carcass won't have been totally worthless

My head is growing thicker
My heart is growing sicker
My body is becoming frail
My voice is only a wail
My eyes no longer work
My attitude is that of a ****

There is no saving
Thoughts that are raving
Just turn and run
Here you'll find no fun
Place wide the danger cones
This is the explosion zone
When it's all over
Feed my pieces to Rover

I'm fighting hard for a reason to stay
I'm trying hard my demons to slay
But my swords are all broken, turned to rust
I'm afraid I'm all hollow, I'm but a crust
I'm striving to see the light, in this inky thick darkness
But to my screams and pleas, only the demons harkens

Where is my guardian angel
I'm in danger
Where is my knight in shining armor
I can't find a safe harbor
Where is my sweet dear friend
I'm afraid it's close to the end

I'm trying to save myself, it's not working
I'm trying hard, I'm not shirking

I need someone to care, I need a helping hand
Before my hourglass runs out of sand
I'm running out of time
Worthless is this life of mine

She bearly made it Through the day
Now in the car and on her way
Trying to hold back the tears till she's at home
But as she starts to drive and think the tears start to roam
Hard to drive vision blurry
Press on the gas pedal, in a hurry
She just wants to be locked into her room
She feels the end is coming soon

When he meet her he knew she was scarred and broken
But love, hope, and dreams where spoken
She started to belive again
To her it was more precious than a lottery win
They talked and Skyped
Way into every night
She started to look forward to the day
It had been years and years since she had felt that way
She wore a happy face instead of a frown
Because love had FINALLY been found

Four months latter on her way home he sent to text
She was driving she couldn't check
The third he sent said I know you seen them won't be played like that
She read that and it took her aback

Just like that he deleted her out of his life
Just like that she was in worse agony and strife
The cruelest thing he could ever do
To give love to the unloved, hope to the hopeless, dreams to the one that had given up on them, then call it through
With no rhyme or reason, no closer
One minute in heaven, then ****, it was over

Now she roboticly gets through the day
So she can go home and lock herself away
In her room she hugs her pillow, and drenches it in tears
She cries into it so no one hears
Just how her heart has been crushed to dust
For she had given him more than just trust
She had laid herself bear to him, had even dared to dream of a happy future
But now her arms and legs need sutures

Because she tried to let the pain out
It didn't work not even when she tried to shout
For she had seen the light
It had been so bright
It had felt so right
Now the darkness is darker than ever
They will never be togeather
The deepest agony is she don't know why
For years you will only see her cry
Locked in her room, away from it all
Only the razor to her now calls

Standing on the ledge once again
Nothing and no one else around
Nothing to stop me from taking the plunge
Nothing but thoughts of you
Keep me on this side
So once again you saved my live
From the edge of the razors knife

Almost
This last little thing
That last little string
Snapped
You seen it in my eyes
Even though no tears I cried
Relapsed
You saved me more than scars
Those little line bars
Sliced
You took my knife
You saved my life
Wrist
For the cuts I would of made
No one could of saved

Scary is the only way to describe these feelings
Scared that this sorry life has no meaning
Scared of living life all alone
Scared of all the hatred I've been shown
Scared that I will soon act on my thoughts
Scared my razor on my skin will soon slide across
Scared of all thats gone wrong
Scared to simply live on

You treat me like Schrodingers cat
And some times I just don't get that
I was alive when you slammed the lid
And now I'm as scared as a little kid
But you have to sort out your own head
And you leave me here filled with dread
Because when I really really need you
You act like you haven't a clue
Are you afraid my sadness will hurt you to much
That my agony will be to much for the touch
That's ok I'll keep it locked away
And maybe,  just maybe one day
You'll lift the lid to look inside
Only to find out I have died

Silently screaming in your ear

I'm doing the right things
But life keeps playing it's games
And the wrong thing keeps happening
So there is starting to be an awakening
Deep in my soul
I'm starting to know
No matter what I do
I'm *******
