The battle between
darkness and depression
is onslaught for any troubled soul
for it takes place much deeper
than any dug out hole
This darkness seems to just find me
Takes over my world into my sanctuary
It settles around the iris of my eyes
Turning me into someone who just seems to cry
Rooted in negativity and lost in my pain
Through my eyes it enters my brain
Corrupting my each and every thought
Breeding unwelcome memories that like to haunt
Spreading now like poison through my veins
Trying to take over till nothing remains
Writing words is my only defense
When nothing else I do makes any sense
The power of prose keeps that place deep within me
Safe and free from this darkened toxicity…

The sun was furious,
It was scorching hot,
I hobbled along the sidewalk with my heavy school bag.
I was dripping with sweat,
At last I reached home,
I threw my bag on the landing
and headed to the kitchen.
Man, I was thirsty,
I always had juices or sodas,
I opened the freezer,
A lonely icy can of coca-cola stood there,
It winked at me,
With arms stretched it cajoled,
"Take me buddy,guzzle me in one go",
Mum was in the kitchen peeling potatoes,
I looked at her,
Her look was blank.
I grabbed the coke,icy in my hands,
Cool,Cool coke, ah !At last,
I lifted the tin to have a sip,
With lightning speed mum stood up,
She snatched the can from my hands,
I gasped and stared at her,
With a cute,loving smile,
She handed me a glass of  water from the JUG.
"Come on son! Today SURPRISE YOUR LIVER.

'Difficulty' is the time

When testing is done
For patience

When you are demanded
For your presence

When misunderstanding increases
From your carelessness...

When expectations increases from all quarters...
All your problem taken as excuses..

At times of difficulties when you want to excel

Your passion is considered your foolishness,

Your dream is considered meaningless..

You are worthless judged by all...

To fight against all odds is what the situation is..
When difficulty arise and you fight....
