You are my forever
You made me live with smiles and not with tears
You made me trust again and believe in myself
You strengthened my faith and took out my fears
You put back the laughter and smile on my face

You are my forever
And I promise to God I will fight for you
I won't make you sad or make you blue
I won't let you feel unimportant, and won't let you go
I won't be tired of saying "I love you" and "I do"

I love you forever
Dhaye Margaux May 2018
He told me,
"Do not compare yourself
With others
For if you change
You won't be my light"

I told him,
"You are the real light,
My forever light
For you did not change
Even a little since
You showered your light
Upon me

For that,  I no longer walk
In the dark."
Always and forever

Twinkle,  twinkle little star
How I wonder it's not that far
I want to reach it,  hold it near
To empty this bag of  sorrow and fear
Or mend and heal the wound and scar

Twinkle,  twinkle,  that little star
Far but near,  near but far
If only there's a stairway to the sky
Or even wings so I can fly
I will surely kiss my lovely star
Can you kiss a star?
Dhaye Margaux May 2014
Among the thousand faces in this place
I  hear his voice like thunder in the skies
I see his light, my dear , I am amaze
But I am not afraid  to show my cries
I bare the real me before his eyes
He never thinks each word as lie or pun
And yes, I admire him, he is so nice
Forever in my heart, my precious man.

I never think it’s true between each race
We’ll be fond of our traits, those aren’t lies
I am so fond of him just like a craze
Obsessed of thoughts that angel really flies
To spread his wings for me, see how he tries
He’s like the rain to me, and even sun
And yes, he is a gem among us, guys
Forever in my heart, my precious man.

My love for him is soft just like a lace
He is so kind, so cool, he is so wise
For his heart is like gold I want to praise
He is so far from those pretending guys
He’s real and never tries to speak with lies
He never leaves and runs away or shun
And yes, he is that gem I’ll see him rise
Forever in my heart, my precious man.

He is an angel, dear, I’ll tell it twice
He makes me smile and laugh and have some fun
And yes, being with him is like a prize
Forever in my heart, my precious man.

Ballade is a verse form typically consists of three eight-line stanzas, each with a consistent meter and a particular rhyme scheme. The last line in the stanza is a refrain. The stanzas are often followed by a four-line concluding stanza (an envoi) usually addressed to a prince. The rhyme scheme is therefore usually 'ababbcbC ababbcbC ababbcbC bcbC', where the capital 'C' is a refrain.

I laid my body
On your top
Pressed against yours
To take a nap

Arms were wrapped
Around your chest
We had that moment
As our best

You searched and found
The finest gold
A gem only you
Can touch and hold

I offered like wine
My kisses so sweet
We learned to dance
In the same beat

You gave your soul
United with mine
Moans were poems
With perfect rhyme

Tears flowed from eyes
For a little while
The pleasure and pain
Still made me smile

And your sweat drops
On my smooth skin
Like perfect rain
That I have seen

I can't forget
That perfect night
We shared one love
One dream, one light

I'll sleep on top of
The perfect space
For you are my home
My safest place

You are every word I put
In this jar of  lines that I keep for so long
Like every breath that I breathe
And every single beat of my heart

You are the wish of forever
The moment I stare up to the sky
And wait for a shooting star
Or just look at those stellar bodies
Find the most radiant of them all
And uncover your eyes in it
Like staring at me soulfully

I hear your whispers in the wind
And even in the drops of water
Like the rain that washes my spirit
Or the sound of the waves
That always echo on the walls of my soul
Like those children playing
At the back of my mind

You never leave me in my dreams
Your touch always comfort me
With those words I need to carry on

You are my song
Your words, my melody

You are my song
My love forever

I had never cared for this day
As they look at it in special way

It became special because this time
When you and I recited one same rhyme

We were best of friends then fell in love
So in love with the true friendship that we have

I wish in this lifetime we'll have all Valentines together
For my love will never end and will stay forever.
Happy Valentine's Day,  sweetheart <3 <3 <3

Inspired by a quote I have read from FB.
Dhaye Margaux Jun 2014
I breathed in a kind of life
Which conformed to that one I evoked
Carried my own identity
Which I valued so much
Gaining honor from the league
Yes, I was distinguished.

You offered me your name
So pure and white to my eyes
Accepted, love and nurtured it
Like what I have done to mine.

We echoed to the world
The best alliance we have
Glowing and sparkling like a diamond
But only for a moment in time.

The force between us was great
Pushing us to opposite directions
The friction became so intense
Which created the flame of ire.

Why not?
You ruined the thing I valued the most
Crashed it behind my eyes
With your selfish plans
Of which became sharp knives
That cut it all.

My name, my precious name!
Was now but a ***** rag into their eyes
And nothing I have done
But a thousand sighs and cries in the dark.

In my dark moments I remembered
The pledge that we have made
And so I stood and dressed up
Walked in nobility
Breathed the same air
Just like before
Ah, I have to win this task
Though only risks were all displayed.

I fought for you
For our name, for our life
But you left me alone in the dark
Cleaning that messy ground
With such sticky dirt
That are hard to wipe out.

Now I am trying to breathe again
In the same way I once knew
Hoping that I may redeem
My name that once they revered.
Will you fight for it?

To the child who wore a wrinkled dress during an election
who's been a funny candidate, and for that she never won

To the boy who always live in so much harshness and fears
from the people closest to him who always give him tears

To the girl who always did sing beautifully at the start
but at the middle she would cry because her life was torn apart

To the lad who simply wrote songs but never kept them for himself
instead gave them to someone else rather than to keep on a shelf

To the lady who chose to love someone who seemed thoughtful and caring
only to find that she was deceived by fake sweetness in the beginning

To the man who felt in love but was broken at early stage
yet he forgave though he was left sad inside that cage

To the wife who forgot her name and just depend on a story
that she shouldn't hear any word but a chain of big sorry

To the husband who tried many times to love and trust
only to end up crying and memories would turn to dust

To the woman who fell in love but cannot move on from the past
a lot of worries inside her heart if she is really happy at last

To the man who tried once more after a thousand of falling
moving on with someone whom he feel now deserving

To them who always cry and just trying to be happy
I will tell them not to give up trying to change their story

To anyone who was a victim of so much anguish and pain
NEVER GIVE UP, have faith, not fear, just learn to dance in the rain!
Never ever...

Dreams are not just for youth
Hopes are not only for their future
We may be old but we also dream
And it is never too late to dream a dream
And hope all the hopes left
After time had been unkind to us
Dreams are like wishes
We can dream more
We can dream big
As long as we are still standing
And willing to move on
We are never too old to dream
another dream.
Dream.  Wish.  Hope.  Move on.

No more fears
Don't hide your tears
No more pain
Under the rain

No more doubt
Now I can shout
No more hate
If this is fate

No more worries
Accept all sorries
My man, I love you
I always do.
A 5-minute exercise
Dhaye Margaux Dec 2016
On the coming new year,  I won't make resolutions
No more promises that don't happen because of hesitation
No more plans that need too much time and attention
For resolutions are just a cause of failure and depression

This new year,  I will just dress the way I always do
Enjoy the company of the precious people like you
Accept that some things may go though some stay and stick like glue
Some questions can be answered but you needed a clue

I won't make promises that could cloud my day
Like what others do to me when on new year they go away
Not personal.  Just inspired by an FB post I read on my wall.
Dhaye Margaux May 2018
No one has the right
To hurt others feelings
Play games with their hearts
Or insult them like
Caring is a big crime

I am so sorry for such acts
When I have cared so much
I didn't know it would be painful

For loving today means
You have to be hurt.
Sorry
Dhaye Margaux Feb 2015
I love you, I love you
I don't know the reasons why
I just want to love you
I am happy being me
When I am with you
It feels like you are me
And I am you
I can't be me
If there's no you
So happy.  Thank you.
Dhaye Margaux May 2018
Tonight I am not in the mood to sing
I lost the interest for now
Where are the words I need
Where are the tunes I love
They were gone
And if ever they echo back
Somewhere at the window of my soul
I may no longer hear them
As the melody I used to sing

So tonight there will be no song to sing
I will just lay down to rest
And hear your voice
The records I keep for years
They are the ones that never fade
Here in my heart.
Not in the mood tonight...
Dhaye Margaux Mar 2016

Oceans and seas
Days to years
You were apart

When the days are so boring and tiring for you
when the moment is no more exciting like we used to do
when the sun is not helpful with its scorching rays
like the flower that is now in its wilting days

When the tune is no more a music to the ear
when the photo is unattractive and not so dear
when the painting is blurred and not good to see
like an inkless pen, now there's nothing in me
I am nothing
Dhaye Margaux Jan 2015
I realized I have a voice
But when I want to speak
You just covered your ears
Why you're making me weak?

You knew I fell down
But when I tried to stand
You asked me, "Why move on?
No one will hold your hand."

You knew I was drowning
But when I tried to swim
You said, "Go back
and be drowned with him!"

You believed in traditions
That can hurt and ****
What is there in the name
That's not worthy to heal?
I have to write this...
Dhaye Margaux Jun 2014
Oh man, tell me...
Is there wrong in loving?
Is there sin in believing?
I have been searching for the half of my soul
I've crossed the hanging bridges with fear
I've walked a thousand miles with tears
Don't I deserve even a smile,
a kiss, a hug or just a simple touch?
I have done everything because of love but I know there's no wrong in it.
Dhaye Margaux Feb 2015
Let it be
I leave everything to You

If I have to be hurt again,
please make this heart numb
dry my eyes
block this mind
and let me unable to remember

what is the difference
between love and pain
Tired...

Our future together
Is my
Greatest dream--
My sweet obsession
For the ones separated by time and space
Dhaye Margaux Feb 2015
It is not in the color of your skin
nor the fame of your race
It is not in the sweetness of your smile
nor in the beauty of your face

It is not in the count of your assets
nor the size of your room
It is not in the name of your place
where pretty flowers bloom

It is not in the shape of your body
nor the shade of your eyes
It is not in the beauty of your words
that the true love lies

For being a human is being true
of what you do or say
Being humane is having empathy
to those who are astray

Be a human, just be true
learn to love and care
Be that human who understands
always be just and fair.
To this humanity...

Yeah, I am older and bolder
Reborn to be a fighter
Mature, yet I am responsible
Still not wanting any trouble

Getting older is not a problem
I am just wanting more time to be solemn
Quietude is a great opportunity
To evaluate my worth, my rights and duty

I am bolder, creativity is my passion
No time for heresays or wrong notion
I am teased by kindness and respect
Beauty is in the heart, not from what they expect

I am older and bolder,  just feel me now
I  was waiting for so long somehow
Explore my exotic beauty and madness
Take me, bathe me with your sweet kiss and caress

Oh, take me now, my love, I am yours
Lets have plenty of travels and tours
Take me to the heaven, take me to the moon
We will grow old together, our life will start soon!
Another mature piece...
Dhaye Margaux Dec 2014
Yes,  I am your "baby girl", but I will say these all to you:
If you are old enough and there's nothing that you can do,
Call yourself an "old man",  that 's a big,  big NO
You are the one that I need,  I am an old soul,  too!
Old woman loves old man...

Once in my life I have shown my face
Then regretted afterwards.
I trusted.
I failed.
And promised I won’t be the same.

Once in my life I have worn my veil
That covers my facade
I pretended
I hid
And I became contented being a shadow.

Once in my life I lost my strength
And learned how to become weak.
But I heard my inner voice
I saw myself in the mirror
And I was awakened.

Once again, I am going to show my face
I want to try
I want to believe
That I’ll be in peace without my veil
Once more...
Unveiling myself...

(A response poem to Neil Aranda's "Weeds")

I was once a plant, a kind of my own
Oh, a plant that was not eagerly sown
And from that infertile soil, I have grown
Like a **** in wilderness, just unknown.

My ancestors treat me like I'm nothing
Nobody cares if I have done something
But still I don't want to stop believing
Persist to live through hoping and dreaming.

And then they call me as a wild flower
Condemn me like I'm a serial killer
They provoke each other as believer
Each one must be an active decrier.

But one day, my kind will be recognized
As that one good plant, a kind which is nice
From this barren land, I promise, I'll rise
And I'll be that strong, one day I'll be wise...
From my book "Breathing Thoughts Vol. I"
Dhaye Margaux Dec 2014
One day in my life-
I had a very beautiful reverie
We were walking along the shore
No one was there, just you and me

One day in my life-
I had a real and glorious smile
You were smiling back at me
While I was walking through the aisle

One day in my life-
I had the best morning ever
Together we watched the sunrise
And we dreamed our dreams of forever

One day in my life-
Just another day of dreaming
For now I am watching the sky
While hoping, wishing, and praying...
How many days...
Dhaye Margaux Dec 2014
A life to live, a smile to make
A beauty I have to share
A simple word for someone's sake
Though life seems so unfair

A morning call, a short "hello"
A tap on somebody's back
A simple "yes", instead of "no"
Could be somebody's luck

A simple touch, a goodnight kiss
Could warm a frozen world
A soulful hug, I'll always miss
Surely when I get old

But once this life that I shall pass
Brings me to a peaceful place
I'll face the day, not how it was
But a life that's full of grace.
Only one
Dhaye Margaux May 2014
If God would ask me this:
"Why should I give you another day?"
If God would really ask,
Oh, what would I say?

Please give me another day,
My Lord, I want to stay
I want to live with my loved ones,
Please give me another day.

I want to ask that forgiveness
From them whom I hurt so much
Show them the love, the real change
From the bottom of my heart.

I want to be with my precious friend
The one I met as an angel
Tell him the truth inside my heart
Show him I really, really care.

I want to show the whole wide world
The best gifts that I have at hand
Tell them the mystery of life
That given by the Lord our God.

I want to live, I want to live
Another day, please give me Lord
I want to live another day
To feel the beauty of this world.

And if it’s time for me to go
I would go on with peace of mind
That I have done in one more day
Those things inside this noble heart.

Come on my love, and let's play
Pretend we're running away
Chase me if you can
Let us have some fun

Don't release me when I'm caught
We long and love this both
Swing my body to the air
After all, for us this is only fair

Shout the words that mean so much
Your face and hair, I always touch
Kiss me more with those sweet lips
As you put your hands on my hips

On the shore, we always do
Things in life we won't let go
Love you now and forevermore
Love won't end on this lovely shore.
Our favorite place...

Watching the sea
Counting the waves
Am I still sane?

Building castles
Out of the sand
To be washed away

Singing our song
Whispers to the wind
Will you hear me, dear?

Sunrise, I have seen
Now at sunset, I gaze
Waiting for the rain

Wish you give a look
A moment on this shore
While footprints are still here
My one last poem this day. Getting busy again.

Keeping the door of your heart open
Means letting people come and go
Letting them get in and out of your life

So I need to learn how to close mine somehow
So that I can keep you
and won't get you out of my life. :)

I always see,  though I don't always speak
I can feel,  though I don't always show
I can hear,  but I have my own heart that seeks
The one that I am longing to know

I have my own heart to listen to
I will remain a friend though we have differences
Life is too short,  just let me love and live
Let me have this choice to take these chances
Even friends have their own heart and mind and may differ in their beliefs.

My place is like my life
Inside, I fix first everything
Before the outside part

My place is like my heart
You cannot hear the beat
Unless you come inside

My place is like my mind
So messy things you see
Unless you share a part

Because my place, your place
It's yours like your life, too
Unless you do your part...
You are my home

Each sand just slips down
Joining the sands of yesterday
And we cannot take them back anymore

I plea for a pause
Or a rain of sands  just in our hourglass
I wish for a handful of sands as refill

Each sand just slips down
While I just stand alone, praying
To hold your hand before the falling of the last sand

Our hourglass...

And so I looked at the sands of time
I saw every bit of sand falling down

Every bit that fell was my every tear
Each moment in time that you’re not here

Our time was short and I can’t resist
To plea and beg, let me feel the bliss

I hoped for the nights that I closed my eyes
Because in my dreams I can see you smile

I wear my mask within each day
Showing my smile though you’re gone away

Oh, our time, this time isn’t ours for real
Wishing forever will I stand still?

Mayroong isang awiting nais kong marinig
Isang mapagpala at malamyos na tinig
Mayroong isang pangarap na nais kong matupad
Dito sa puso ko'y isa lang  ang aking hangad

Mayroong isang halamang nais kong mahagkan

Mayroong isang damdaming sinikap itago

Masdan at lapitan, aking niluluhog

You and I could be a match
Each of us can mend, can patch
Can fill the blanks our lives  possess
Or fix trouble and clean our mess

You and I, it is a dream
A story I see like radiant beam
Heavenly life I feel for us
Not just a memory that comes to pass

You and I, I wish could be
Like the love in your eyes that I can see
If the warmth in your touch is not for me
Then we couldn't be that perfect match, could we?

Why do people love
*If they will only get hurt
?
Why do people care
When they knew it from the start?

Why do heart beats for someone
Only to cry at night
Why do eyes are blind sometimes
When it really sees the light?

Do hearts that love for real
Enjoys the falling rain?
Do people that truly love
Enjoy pleasurable pain?
