Oh architects of concrete
How you have stolen my plains
And dredged my soul
The Falcon hovers in vain
And the Hare has no hope
While you swing you clubs
For glory and embrace the
Walls filled with accolades
All at nature's dire expence
The plague that drives deforestation

I leave the mirror
Scarred by rejection
Thinking at a glance
Its just an optical illusion
I'm the spitting image
Of who I want to be
Gleefully I left them there
Empty
Believe in yourself no matter what they say

Generations participated in hope and prayer
As he fathomed the perfect storm
Hoisting freedoms flag high as he navigated
Across the raging tempest for...Twenty seven years
Nelson Mandela you are the personified hope
A humble Man a Hero of the free world
A tribute to the late great President Nelson Mandela
On his hundredth birthday 18 July 1918 to 18 July 2018

As the sunflower drops
in afterglow of shade
And the gloss of the gleem fades
across the moonlit shadow
We are summoned by the horizon
into the magnificent light
that offers no shadow
The light of God is perched on love
without  side effects...
without a shadow of doubt...
crossing the night into dawn
In this time do not fear
keep your faith remaining hopeful
and if tomorrow never comes
assuredly so you will be safe
in the everlasting light of God.

Chance and change
Sometimes we let it pass
us by without HELLO!
When opportunity goes begging
Chance and change very consistent very persistent
