Isn't it amazing, how words can touch as if words has a flesh

In God, I put all my trust
He moves me forward like a propelling force
He causes me to lay up gold as dust
When I go to Him in remorse
He forgives my fleshly lust
He is my Lord, my Father, my Boss
For me, praising Him is a must
He paid the price on the cross
Because He loves me so very much
I will obey His laws
Which are summed up in one
And that is... to love
As He Himself is LOVE!

Richness in vocabulary doesn't equate to richness in information

Richness in possessions and money is not a prerequisite for richness in kindness and generosity

Richness in belongings and wealth is not richness in joy and happiness

Love yourself first
And extend that love to others!

Ever thought about a child with a disability
watching his/her friends through the window
jumping on the trampoline with tears in his/her eyes

Ever thought about an innocent man
serving time, getting instructions from a fellow man and the grieve in his heart

Ever thought of people going through pain they didn't deserve
Not like anyone deserves pain anyway
But some are stuck and can't find no other way

Everyone is not getting an equal share
Some have way too much to bear
Some live everyday in tears...

I'm living on an island of my thoughts
The surrounding water is full of sharks

Threatening me that I can't make it out alive

They want me to bow or succumb to defeat
But I'll rather fight and stand on my feet

I just want to ask one question
Is the human race obeying the mathematical rule called BODMAS?
Just a refresher...  
Brackets, Orders, Division, Multiplication, Addition and Subtraction

We have created different brackets
where we enclose people like casket
He's black, she's white, they are rich,
those are poor, she's educated, he's religious, he's fat, she's slim... Brackets

People are treated differently
Based on the class that we've put them in
Some are raised to power like exponents
Others are trapped in like square roots...Orders

The segregation has only intensified our division
I don't fit in here, I belong over there
My group is stronger, those ones are losers... Division

Disunity and absence of love has caused
A multiplication of our problems
Threats, deportation, persecution
We don't like them, we'll bomb them
War, insurgency, terrorism, hate speech... Just problems Multiplication

Every second, our population is experiencing several additions
Our population keeps growing while
Our natural resources are being exploited
And depleting at a rate faster than our population growth
Our resources are experiencing severe subtractions

I just want to ask one more time...
Aren't we obeying BODMAS?

Communication is the backbone of a relationship
Maybe not always about the talk frequency
But more about the authenticity
Communication driven by mutual understanding
Fuels a relationship that is outstanding

Undivided attention
Effective listening
Seeking to understand rather than listening to judge
Seeing with their eyes and not our heads
Respecting feelings and emotions
Finding common ground during disagreement
Disagreeing to agree

Effective communication is the ballast of a relation-ship

Birth and Death are basically
The wearing of a flesh
And the taking off of the flesh
Respectively
The human spirit has always been
And will always be!

I am from the African descent
It does still show in my accent
I was taught...in God only, I should depend
Even, if I'm thrown into the deep end
I guarantee you that I will always ascend

My mama raised me to live decent
Showed me to follow Godly precepts
Anything below excellent, she taught me to reject
Expressing love was a daily subject

To hone and master my craft
In all my dealings, to play my part
Whatever I give out (positive or negative) is surely coming back

Productivity is not synonymous to being busy
Let them see your work ethic and call you crazy

She taught me to be careful with my words
'cause they have a big influence on my worth
Never compromise honesty
'cause it's worth more than any currency

It could take you up or down
No matter what life throws at you,
You were born to be a success, so stand your ground!

Copying or imitating another person's life
Is like following the car in front of you
on the road everywhere it turns
Without considering the car's destination
And disregarding yours too!

Arise

Push forth
Step out of the cocoon
You've always said, I will do it soon

I did a study about the life cycle of a butterfly
Interestingly, the pupa develops into a butterfly while in the cocoon
But after, it has to break out of the cocoon
Pumps blood into the soft wings
Fly... Master it's flying skills
Then search for a mate to reproduce

It's okay to stay locked in to develop some skills
Like the butterfly, the skills receive blood outside the comfort or discomfort of the cocoon
Mastering of the skills take place during flight
Like take off, hit against a tree, fall
And take off again
Finally, the skills start to produce results
Just like the butterfly, after mastering flight

Usually, the cocoon always feels warm and comfy but
Life outside of it is challenging, exciting and usually productive
Fear of the unknown is the greatest impediment
But on the other side of fear is fulfilment!

You said you wanted to leave
I couldn't come up with reasons for you to stay
But this is what I would say...
Remember the trees during fall season
When the leaves drop
After few months, new and fresher leaves will spring forth
Leaves fall, leaves grow... The tree stays
I believe each leaf plays its part
Before it eventually departs
So, thanks for the season(s) you stayed!
